... I can't think of many situations where a cancellation would actually be appropriate. READING a Tome instead of USING it! :-)
I'm all with DrJeff. Sometimes I would have rather trained another stat than I clicked (never level, that usually goes via XP because cheapest), but until I've eventually hit the 2nd cap I wouldn't waste ANY stat I've paid dearly for.
I see the usefulness for some players, though.
