Finished/WIP Pets: I wouldn’t say any of my pets are “finished”. I came back from a year-long hiatus and have completely started from scratch, so I’m working on all 59 of my pets simultaneously! It's super slow because I'm trying to do everything myself, and I'm not a fast artist. They’re all in various stages of completion – some have TC’s mostly done, others have profiles and art – it’s all a work in progress. Eventually, they will all have stories, art, profiles, and TC's. 4 of my pets have won the spotlight, but that was before I wiped 'em clean. Story, Clarissa, and Fancy are probably furthest along in terms of “completed”, but Odette is my favorite to work on right now.

Misc Information: The pet I’m applying for has a low ID that other users may want, but I’m just interested in the name. If chosen, I’d be happy to make an arrangement with another user who wants the ID, so that they’d have the pet, and I’d have the name - if you're ok with that.

Pet Name: Vale So, I’ve been stalking various iterations and spellings of this name for a long time. I already have a character in mind, and it will fit into my “God Wars” storyline that I’m still mapping out. I'm a huge mythology nut, and almost all of my characters are inspired by either Greek/Roman myths or folk/fairy tales. In Vale's world, the Earth (Mother Nature) is the highest order of deity, and all were created to worship her. The other Gods appointed guardians to protect her; immortal nymphs who watch over her and keep her safe. There’s a guardian of the Forests, of the Seas and Oceans, of Caverns, etc. Vale would be my guardian of the Mountains; she lives atop the highest peak and communes only with birds. When “Man” begins his gradual destruction of both land, sky, and sea, the guardians are on high alert and watch to see what happens. When, after many years, the destruction continues and reaches unimaginable levels, they decide to go to war. Their mission is only to wipe out mortals and save Earth. Basically, ass-kicking fantasy goddess squad.

In this series, each character will have an origin story that basically starts with the great battle for Earth and works backwards. Vale wasn't born, she was hatched from an egg. Her mother was a great eagle that circled the skies and never landed, and her father God of Breezes. As soon as she emerged, a human-bird hybrid that was covered in patches of feathers, she lived alone. Mother Earth recognized her affinity for birds and the mountaintops, and so she appointed her their guardian. Vale can communicate with every species of birds, though she has a special relationship with Enda, the peregrine falcon she rides. She also cares for the plants and small animals who live in the mountains, as well as the mountains themselves. She arranges great rocks and stones to make sure the mountains stay strong, tall, and sturdy. ~

Pet Name: Vale This one may actually end up replacing a pet name I currently have. The idea is the guardian of the tree of life. This individual not only guards the tree and is immortal because of his charge. He can also grant the gift of a fruit to anyone who comes looking who he feels is worthy. He's pretty tender hearted so it tends to go to those looking to heal dying loved ones.

Pet Name: Ze I have two other characters with two-letter names and they are neelas (Ru and Ax), a prince and his guard and I'd like to add Ze in there as another in their group, I'm thinking a friend of theirs making them sort of a three amigo type of group all from different sorts of family and up-bringings that didn't effect their friendship.

Pet Name: Knave I have two options for this guy, a demon to mingle with my group of angels or a dragon. I have a large group of unicorns and dragons who are entwined in a bit world/story I'm developing and Knave would fit in well with the dragons.

Finished/WIP Pets: I have some 20+ pets that are finished so I won't link them all, but feel free to poke through my profile for the ones that I don't list! (They are all organized by stages of finish). For some of the more visually interesting pets, you can check out DejaVu, Fireflies, Ilyana, Naoai, Shiba Inu, and Y0U.

Misc Information: I've been working hard to finish my pets and finished 24 last year and have a goal to finish most of the rest of my pets this year. Most of my pets already have sketches art in various stages, I just generally don't display it until I finish the profile completely. I try to make sure I work on pets that people have given me/adopted out to me first though so they are able to see something happen with the pets they graciously give to me :) Also I have the means to get pet slots as needed, so no worries about needing to hold any if you decide to adopt pets out to me. Not sure if it matters but I would most likely be changing genders and species/colors of the pets in the future.

Pet Name: Mend

I have an existing OC that I would love to use this name for. She is what I call a 'mender', where any damage that is inflicted upon her, she is able to heal on her own much faster than any mortal. She's kind of an interesting character in that her 'normal' form is that of shadow, but she is able to gain a physical body which also makes her vulnerable to attacks. In a way, she could fall under the 'vampire' category for the reason that she feeds on living creatures for sustenance and power. She's a very old creature, leader of a small pack of menders that have been following her for a century or more.

As for a page, I'd have art of her that would appear upon hover like she was coming out of the shadows. I'd likely keep her page pretty clean looking (kind of like Ilyana's or Shiba Inu's page where elements are hidden under hover codes). And of course I'd give her some shiny new art to go along with her page ^-^

Pet Name: Necrotic

First off, I just love this word to begin with heh. Again, I would use this name for an OC of mine, Sylvi. She's set in the time of Vikings and is part of a mostly female clan that has managed to tame and bond with dragons. Her dragon turns out to have a very different power from the rest, however, which becomes evident as her dragons grows. Most dragons have elemental-type powers, breathing elements like fire, ice, etc. Her dragon has breath of plague, which can affect living creatures as well as things like crops and water, causing them to become toxic, shrivel up and die.

For her page, I'd definitely do a piece of art to showcase her and her dragon (I swear I love to torture myself with big pieces of art!) I imagine the graphics being kind of sickly and dead looking.

Well I'll throw my name in the hat. I've always been picky about pet names and haven't adopted in more than a year because I just couldn't find a great name. I've got two loyalty boxes just sitting and waiting for the next perfect pet(s).

Finished Pets: Fairydeer; Kalen; Hasu; Urei; Elihoreph; Lovesome; Smaragdos; Steffen; Yuriy; Errapel; ... WIP Pets: Pretty much all the rest. I recently took down Tas, because I'm going to completely revamp his page. He was part of a collaboration story that was ongoing for years, but I want to gear him more towards battling, so I'm starting from scratch. Kichiro I'm in the smack middle of re-coding. His picture is here but I haven't quite finished putting him back together, though his story is still there. Yukito also had a recent image move, it's now here and I just need to relink profile back up. Stavros I also just took down, to re-due, I wasn't happy with his story, so he's blank. The others all have new stories, but I took down their buttons on my profile because I recently re-did their treasure chests and I want to make new buttons and page pictures.
Misc Information: You just need to let me know so I can get the new slot set up. I'd prefer to get Taron before the end of March, but I do understand.

Pet Name: Taron I adore names with meaning behind them. Taron is a variation or Terran (Earthman) and is also Welsh for "Thunder". Perfect. I'm looking for a second battle pet (Tas is my number 1) and that's a pretty good kick butt name for a Nightmare pet. :) I do train all my pets, but I'm looking for another to get to a higher tier with a story that's a bit more aggressive. I've only ever adopted out 1 pet to a friend who could not afford the color they wanted, so you can be sure he's going to stick around with me. I don't swap pets in and out. Finished/WIP Pets: Yago, Marcius, Kyron, Tarvik are my finished ones and the following ones are nearly finished like Areios, Carus, Justus, Milan, Hektor Misc Information: I am allwas working on my pets and in general I work on several at once (Like filling TCs, making profiles, comming up with storys, doing art).

Pet Name:Taron I really like the name Taron and it would be a great fit for one of the main characters involved in Carus story. The character is a servant of the god of the Hunt in the Fantasy setting I am using, Orin. He is one of the Baseraph (An elfish word for Darkborn) The Baseraph are dedicated to their gods and a lot of them are very fanatic and force other servants of the gods of the night and the gods of dawn into their service... Taron had the same fate when he was quite young and his parents sold him to the Baseraph. At first he felt somhow honored to be one of them but as time went by he learned the true nature of the Darkborn and so started to seek a way to flee from his cruel masters, which is rather hard for him, cause he has a wife and two sons (twins) the council of the Baseraph will kill, if they ever get to know what he is planning. He later on in the story gets to know Carus who was risen in another world, where no Darkborn threaten the servants of the Night gods and is suprised about the man living his faith without the pressure of the dark council and in a way, he never has seen bevor. Impressed of it he joins a small group of rebellious darkborn who have decided to live their faith like Carus does.

I know it is more a sad and partly cruel story. I hope that is fine for you. If you need more details, feel free to ask. Also sorry for mistakes and probably strange writing habits but I am no native English speaker.

Finished/WIP Pets: Yoink, Fleshy & Ailment are my only finished pets so far but Im close to completing a few others and will add them if I get them done in time (without lookups/backstories written up yet) Misc Information: Im newly returned to Subeta after a long hiatus and I am seriously in love with this place. Not only are the pet designs incredible for all my character ideas, the Human Avatar options are endless and amazing. I have so many ideas that I can finally bring to life in a way I never could on Gaia or Neopets.

Hello! I'm Missy and this is my first application to adopt a pet so Im sorry if I do anything weird.

Pet Name: Abnormal Ab needs to be an experiment 84. I've been seeking the perfect name for one and I finally feel like I can stop searching. I would be switching Abs name with my current experiment 84. My incredibly unfinished plans for my pets and story basically involves my HA being from a colony in space who returns to Earth as an 'animal' trapper. Earth has been long abandoned thanks to radiation from World War 3 and so all these unique creatures now exist. My character, Neve, has been tasked with capturing the rarest and most beautiful of these creatures and bringing them back to her planet to live in the zoo. I know, it's cringe worthy but hey, it makes me happy and gives me something to focus on so I'm cool with it :D

Abnormal is a shapeshifter and is also suspected to have teleportation abilities. Very little is known about this particular type of mutation so Neve is excited to try and track one down and study it for a while before capture. Ab is nocturnal, consumes the energy of other creatures, both living and tech beast in nature and despite having fearsome defense mechanisms, is a calm and reserved creature most of the time...unless it feels threatened.

Pet Name: Trap So I am also super keep on Trap because he would actually be a trained pet who is Neves sniffer dog of sorts. Trap will be a Steamwork Sheeta and I already have everything ready to turn them into one! Trap is extremely agile and is completely man made so he comes with several handy features that make him incredibly handy for Neves hunting trips. Mostly he tracks animals down and lures them into areas where it is easier for Neve to confront and attempt to capture them, hence his name. Trap actually stands for Techmax Recovery Animal Project, Techmax being the company who created the TRAP models for all sorts of people in all lines of work. Most people choose a cutesy and unique name for their companion but Neve, who was adamant that she didn't want to work with a Tech beast at first, refused to get attached. Now, almost 3 years later, they are inseparable, not that Neve would admit that to her Techmax employers. Tech beasts can't talk without expensive upgrades to Trap just communicates with a series of whirl and beeps which Neve can almost always understand. Despite Trap being an outdated model, Neve is content with her companion and has no plans for any upgrades or replacements just yet.

Finished/WIP Pets: I do have to say that almost ALL of my pets have completed characters and stories (except two) as I write all of my own stories for them. I'm hoping to all them to all of my pets at once as I have many. This is why stories are not up on their profiles yet. Finished profiles without stories include (so technically WIP?): Joyous Rebellion, Gangplank, Steamed, Fondant, Serve, and Restless. I also have many overlays that have yet to be added. :)

Misc Information: Will not need to be held for me. I have been on the site for about 11 years now.

Pet Name: Trap I'm in love with the name and it struck me for an idea right away. When I see the name Trap, an idea for a mental health awareness pet comes to mind. For this pet I'm hoping to make a pet struggling with mental health issues but one that expresses feeling "trapped" in his own mind and body. He struggles for years with his health issues and tends to suffer in silence until he finally reaches out to people and gets the help he needs. This changes his outlook on life and although things are still difficult, he is able to learn how to focus his energy to help him and eventually leads him to helping others. I really want to focus however on the idea of him feeling trapped and almost as though he's stuck in a cage in an attempt to show people how it can feel go through these without any supports in place. This idea is very dear to me as I started my career in social work as my goal was to help people. I have worked with many different types of people and had the pleasure and honour of learning from them and going through their journey with them. I'm also a fan of activism. As my pet Joyous Rebellion is also an activist pet. Thank you! :)

Pet Name: Burst I also really love this name and it perfectly fits a character I already have had in mind for some time. The name reminds me of stars. Stars exploding or like a supernova. My character idea is he a constellation. A moving constellation that travels through the cosmos. I think he's going to have either a dragon or bear like form (kind of like Ursa minor and major). He helps protect space and travels from star to star. He also wonders about his purpose and how he came to be such a massive constellation. He travels through other stars like the milky way and sometimes feels very alone. But he gets this rush when he bursts through the stars. Similar to someone running through water. They collide over his face and scatter and he thinks it's beautiful. Even if he is often lonely. Mainly though, he helps protect the skies and planets from things like satellites and such.

Finished/WIP Pets: Matrim Cauthon, Dalcan, Shulk, Theurgy Misc Information: My favorite part of working on my pets is their treasures. I've mostly just had fan pets but have recently developed an interest in other names and writing my own stories for them.

Pet Name: Engrave My idea for Engrave is a mage that has learned the difficult craft of engraving. Usually used with runes for shields and wards of power or protection. It's a difficult craft to learn and be proficient at. Any mage can learn to engrave simple runs of warmth and to ward off rain, but only a few could learn (or had the innate power) to research and learn runs of holding, warding, preservation, weakness, sapping, observing etc. etc. She is protecting the world from a great power, her and her civilization long gone and long forgotten.

That left a lasting chill down her spine that nothing else ever would. Winter had left, but something else more cold and dark might be on its way.

Finished/WIP Pets: Medkit (needs his story written, I've (tbh) been procrastinating on that) / Gambled (needs a new profile, his old one got wiped) Misc Information: I am constantly working on my pets (mostly small things like overlays and TCs, as seen by Tarot Card and Archangel Gabriel (Gabe's is going to take me years, he needs so much candy)) while trying to finish them, so 99% of my pets are in a current flux of completeness ^^; (hell, my pet Sniped has his story nearly finished, I just need to tie the end up and put it on his profile at this point)

Pet Name: Biomass Okay, admittedly, he's going to turn into a fanpet because his name is perfect. He's going to become a Prototype fanpet -- specifically Alex Mercer. I do already have a story in mind for him (small miracle) though his TC will be a bit more difficult to cobble together. He will, however, be getting immediate attention from me if I'm chosen to adopt him; specifically a change in species and color (a Bloodred pet, perhaps, or even Darkmatter once I decide on a pet pose I like) as well as an overlay, if I can find the time between my work schedule to actually sit down and hunt for someone who can make him a decent one.

There's not really much I can say to elaborate on what I want to do with him, since most of it will just be a bunch of rambling mumbo jumbo about in-game story and such (most of which I probably won't follow anyways, since his story is going to be from a set point in the game timeline lmao) but if you want me to expand on what I want to do with him, feel free to ask!

Pet Name: Knave I absolutely adore the name and the meaning behind it and i'm a very, very picky person. XD However, I would switch Knave's name with the pet currently called Battleborn and he would become my second in line battle pet. I have 8 permanent pets, all of them are trained and read to. Even my least intelligent pet has over 1400 Int. I have two T7's, a T6, a T5 and four T4s. (Of the other three, two are being held for someone else and Kenya is being slowly trained up to be adopted out when he's a little bigger, i usually have a pound find that I choose to do this with.) I freely admit I don't create stories or make up characters, he'll probably never have a pretty profile to show off, but I can promise he'll continue to be trained, battled with, fed and read to. He'll be anything but gathering dust if you decide to send him my way. Thank you for your consideration.
