February caught a cold here! Back to well below freezing. It is a short month though, that might be a good thing.

Well February is here. yesterday was so nice and today I am afraid to even go out afraid its turned cold..lol its a real nice sunny day here.

Hi Friends!

My flower beds in the front yard have had so much snow piled up on them from the road grader, they'll be lucky to be able to shoot out of there by June. Can't say they aren't insulated from the cold though. Because the last two winters were unseasonably warm for here and we didn't have a lot of snow, we lost some of our rose bushes. So there is good and bad in all kinds of winters. The city has been so good about keeping the streets graded that I'm able to walk without being afraid of slipping and falling. That's the one thing I always hated about winter. If I had to be afraid to go for a walk without grippers on my boots and walking sticks for balance, I really felt stuck inside. I love fresh air even if it is cold! The sun is shining today. The mountains are standing out so beautifully. I'll go for a walk and get the mail this afternoon.

yes we havent had snow much but lots of cold. when we did have snow I was shocked that my Lilac Bush is budding out. not seen that before so hope its ok..lol love the smell of those flowers..just have to wait and see..take care all. HUGS

I know. if we dont have a freeze before may we will have one then..never fails...lol I hope to be able to plant some flowers by April they usually do good and look good. my moon flower I am not sure when to plant it last year I planted in May and it wasnt till August till it started growing...did get a few flowers tho. really pretty. well all have a great weekend.
