I'm curious if anyone is planning on attending the Women's March on Washington or one in their area. I've been up in the air about it the past few weeks, really wanting to go but not wanting to go by myself. I talked to a friend of mine and decided I'm going! It would be really to meet up and say hello to anyone attending the one in DC.
It's going to be mad down there anyways, if I had a place to crash afterwards, I'd be down in it.

I had a couple acquaintances on my facebook before I disabled it to go on a short break in December that expressed interest in going. I'm not sure if they're still going though since none of my friends have texted me to say whether they're going or not and I'm not on any social media at the moment.
Hotel prices are too crazy in DC right now, but tons of major cities are also hosting their own. Some women in my town chartered a bus to the DC rally. I'm going to knit a pussyhat tomorrow.

I wish I knew how to knit or knew someone who could make one for me. But I actually do have a cat hat I'm going wear. And I'm just going to wear a warm sweater, a hoodie, leggings, jeans, a scarf, gloves, and warm socks.
I wish I would have known earlier in the month that you needed one!
Yeah, be sure to layer up! You can always take some off if you need to. Please report back about your trip. 😊

I actually didn't even know about it until earlier this month and I wasn't sure I was going until earlier this week. But that's okay. I have a cat shaped hat I'm going to wear
And I will!
I'm glad to see other cities will be hosting their own march. I hope it's big and global. All the best to everyone participating. :3
Remember. "Be courageous or be complicit."
Can't make it to DC, but I'm supporting the women's march in Seattle tomorrow. If other Seattleites will be there, let me know!
I live less than 2 hours away from Washington DC but I can't find anyone local who wants to brave the crowds and go with me. I'll be there in spirit I guess!
i'm going to the women's march in atlanta :)
That's too bad. You could totally tag along with me if you wanted to
That's awesome! Good luck and stay safe!
I'm not going to lie; it warms my heart to see so many other marches going on at the same time. And there will be marches going on in other countries too. So awesome!
Aw thanks for the offer! But it is what it is. And I agree - seeing SO MANY people come together is really inspiring!
There's even one in my hometown which makes me really proud of the community.

There were marches in my country (Canada) but I couldn't make it to any of them. I'm so proud of everyone who marched or who wanted to march!
I've seen a lot of people say they're "tired of politics" but this isn't just about "politics"! This is about people being afraid for their rights and their lives. It's only ever "just politics" to the privileged.
Wish I could have gone. So proud of the turnout!
I wasn't able to go to one of the marches in other cities but my mom was able to.
She sent a picture to me and she seemed to have had a good time n.n
:D wish I could of been there but I have to take care of family member with DS and the person doesn't like crowds at all! so glad to see all the amazing people with disabilities out there to let their voice be heard, wish the "president" was an understanding guy who had a heart, Guys Don't worry presidents come and go and hopefully next one is a president for all not just some :) wishful.
