I haven't really seen a board like this so I thought it would be fun to make one! I'm curious what species everyone loves and hates. You can explain why in as much detail as you want or simply just posting the species. Can't wait to see what people say!

• My favorite species are a Devonti, Antlephore, and Paralix. I think all (or most) of the colors for these species are great and they're really adorable. Plus Antlephore's have great poses and Paralix's are like cute fox dragons. My least favorite is probably a Harvester, it's just too human like for me.

I really adore popokos. They are LIFE. I also love Neelas and Legeicas <3

My least favorites would have to be hikei, priggle, chelon, mallarchy, illumis, terracoon, or swampie... man there are several species I dislike (sorry) I feel bad for disliking so many, but I couldn't choose just one D:

Favorite:

Difficult to name just one because there's a handful of species that I love equally but I'm going to choose the Legeica. I really like their design and I own most of the special color Legeicas. But I also love Irions, Jollins, Neelas, Telenines, Paralix, Tigreans and the new special color Archans.

Least favorite:

Hipottu, Ghostly and Magnus. They just don't appeal to me...at all.

Favorite: Charlie and Fester (Though I strongly dislike most of their special colors, I absolutely adore the common posed Charlies. They're just too cute.)

Least: Kerubi, Hipottu

Favorite: I wish my characters suited the adorable bumbii better. Since the release of the angelic bumbus, they have become my favorite species that I will probably never own more than one of if even that... (I might be able to make the Storm Bumbus work. I'm definitely trying to find it a spot.) As for species I will actually use, it's between the antlephore, the archan, the tigrean, and the telenine... I haven't got all my pets sorted out yet but at this point, it is looking like I'll probably end up owning more tigreans and telenines than any other species.

Least Favorite: Right now, it's the feli because I am working on an idea loosely based on my house cat and that has made me very aware of how much the feli needs an update. Makes me kinda upset. Generally speaking though, it is the harvester. They could be so cool and they're just not.

It's hard to pick for either. There's a lot of great art, even amongst pets that still need revamps, and I admire a lot of species for that alone.

I love all of the bird species, because I love birds anyway. Especially the Lain and Noktoa (their Chibi versions are SO CUTE! >w<). And I think I have more Irions than any other pet. The Legeica and Neela are both so pretty, and the Ontra is adorable. Experiment is so graceful looking, and the Chibi is ridiculously precious (sorry, Euclid, but you are soooo wrong about Chibi Experiments... :P). <3 IT'S REALLY HARD TO NARROW THIS DOWN! xD

My least favourite pets are the Bovyne, Dillema, Hikei, Hippotu, and Torrent. I like them, but they never appealed to me enough to create pets of them. Maybe if I had an idea that would fit...

The Feli is probably one of my top faves, since I love cats irl. I have 3 Felis. I also love the Devonti (I have 2) and the Charlie (I have 1 but thinking about getting another).

I'm hesitant to say what my least favourite would be. Ones that come to mind, I'm also like "well they're not too bad." Years ago I might have said the Hipottu but now I think it's cute.

My favorite has been the Archan since the beginning. I'm slowly beginning to build up a Archan army. But I have also a weak for the Bumbus, Noktoa and Celinox.

My least favorite would be the Darkonite.

least-favorite... i find a lot of experiment pets to just not really be my style, especially the really weird/gross looking ones D: also zasabas, illumi and bumbii because bugs eurgh

I am really drawn to the pets that have lots of super nice shiny new art and the Donadak has a surprising amount of it, there's a lot of colours I could pick as amazing examples. I'll happily add the Tigrean into that mix too, and the Fester (I remember seeing its design revamp and flipping out at how cool it is, but now its special colours have caught up and it's even better). I really want to say the Bhakoru, or even a lot of the newer pets as well but they really don't have that many colours u.u Or even the Charlie, which has an awesome common base but now it's special colours are lacking xP

As for my least favourite, it's sadly the Swampie. Its design is so simple and because it has smooth skin (so no fur texture to make for interesting shading) and no metal/gemstone/scaly/etc. parts (more things for interesting shading) it manages to make its version of so many colours look kinda bland. A pet where you have to make the pose work to get the best out of the special colours imo P:

Personally, my favorite is by far the neela. Ungulates (hooved creatures) are my favorite animals in general, especially those of deer/antelope-like anatomy. (Gosh, have you ever seen a sable antelope? They're absolutely stunningly gorgeous.) The neela fits into that perfectly, and I think they are absolutely gorgeous / the artist does an absolutely stellar job on them! I love pretty much all the colorations that have been released for them as well; if my pets weren't mainly fanpets I'd definitely have an entire herd of the little suckers okay.

A long time ago keetos used to be my favorites though, mostly because foxes are another one of my top favorite animals, and I had a goal to collect every single color of them. Eventually I moved away from this however in favor of creating fanpets, and I try to match up the species/coloration for what I feel is appropriate to the character. I'd have to say I really like jollins a lot though once they came out and are much more vulpine in anatomy than keetos are. They have some gorgeous poses / artwork for them too.

You can't tell this from my pets, but I have a pretty big soft spot for both waradors and dillemas. With dillemas, their large builds and slightly asymmetrical faces make them look a bit monstrous, but they've also got this stitching and tags that make them look like a living plush doll. I think this is really fascinating, and I personally find them pretty endearing.

Concerning waradors, I liked them a lot before they got a revamp, but that just made them better in my opinion. Have you ever noticed, every single one of them has a different staff symbol? Literally even all the common colorfill / recolors have different symbols in their staffs, and this was something that was present before their revamp / update too that I always appreciated (and was glad they kept it for the revamp, because it adds a splash of unique-ness into the mix). They kind of look like impish jester puppets to me and that aesthetic just honestly appeals to me for some reason.

I think the bhakoru is a lovely addition to the variety of pets too, and the zentu has a lot of great potential. I can't wait to see what unique colors they do for them! (The vibrant zentu though... absolutely gorgeous as heck. I want it.) These creatures also classify as ungulates (or more specifically paenungulates), so they also fall into that spectrum of "my favorite type of animal" frankly.

...I should seriously stop before I list like most of the pets species on this site but I also really like zasabas. I like insects and bugs and spiders and little creepy crawly critters quite a lot actually, and so this pet really appeals to me because of that. I unfortunately have literally no idea what excuse I could make for getting one though. There aren't a lot of fictional characters that actually remind me of insects whose names haven't already been taken on the site. x') So uh... welp.

My least favorite pets are Ruffies and Kumos. I uh... don't feel like explaining why though.

I like wolves a lot, so my favourite species are Telenine and Kumos, I like Legeica too since I always liked horses. I used to be a big fan of Montre when I joined Subeta, but it kind of faded during last 10 years (I still like Nightmare and Spectrum though), same with Celinox but maybe there is a little more of the old fondness left in that case. I like Common Experiment since I saw it for the first time, it's just... wow, I love you, strange doggy! ^^

I don't like Bumbus and Zasaba. Why? Just... no. XD Same with Charlie and Feli (I'm far from being a cat lover).

Though I do love a variety of specific species/colour combinations, the Popoko, Kerubi and Jollin are my favourite species overall. I've always had a handful of them on my account - perhaps I'm drawn to the fluffy tails?

I don't like choosing my worst because I'm sure there are lots of fans out there who'd disagree, and I know the artists put a lot of time and effort into their work. That said, I'm personally not too keen on the Aeanoid, Mortiking and Zasaba.

My favourite species are demi, devonti, donadak, fester, irion, legeica, magnus, paralix, and # 84. The celinox, darkonite, endeavor, escalade, illumis, lasirus, neela, serpenth, torrent (mainly the colour-fills, sadly) and # 2759 also get high votes from me. I generally like beautiful, elegant, and/or powerful-looking pets (or on the flipside, the just downright adorable) - but give me any species and I can probably find at least one colour I like them in & would own. Because of this, there aren't really any species I actively dislike, or which 100% do not appeal to me. There are, however, a handful of experiments I'm not too fond of - like the poor # 8471, the tentapup (e-e), and the pinkicorn, for example. ~

My favorites are probably Neela and Legecia, because I've always loved hoofed animals and they both look so graceful. Also Jollin because I like foxes and they have sweet expressions, and Demi for some reason I can't quite pinpoint. I also seem to have a soft spot for Irion and Archan.

Least favorite... Dilemma and Ghosty. I just don't find them cute.

Favorites: Noktoas, Lains, and Irions. Legeicas are pretty too.

Least Favorites: Bumbus, Kumos, Montres, Jollins, Popokos, and Dilemmas.

Favorite: Sheeta, Dragarth, Keeto, Lumos ... a lot of the cute animal ones.

Least Favorite: The insects and more human-looking ones. Ex. Zasaba, Warador, Illumis, etc.

Favorite : Ontra

Least favorite : Kumos.

Lains are easily my favorite - I have a pet Lain of every special color currently released :) (dear staff: waiting on storm & harvest lains thxx)

They are just so majestic!

I've never thought about my least favorite before, but I guess it would be Ghostly. They're just a little bit off... The idea of the helmet throws everything off imo.
