Hi All, Happy Luminaire Everyone!

I almost had to cancel this giveaway, as I had no idea of the gift until today. The time ran fast this year, I'm working, and have to small kids (son 4 yrs, dauther 2), so it's not easy to be online. I started to write a post about cancelling, but then I decided to give it a try and I found a lovely item! At least I love it, and hope you will do too.

I'm so happy to open my annual giveaway. The strange gift is not something super valuable, just as in the past years, but you have all my love with it.

Happy Luminaire! Thank you for hosting this mystery giveaway :) Last winter my mom rescued a turtle she found on the street and I spent a lot of time with it during the summer when I was home, but since I go to college out-of-state, I've been missing my dear Picky. I look forward to spending time with her when I'm back at home in a few weeks. XD

Thanks for sharing your story. I'm sad you could not take her with you :( I had a white mouse at universtiy, and he stayed and travelled with me :) I always wondered, how is a turtle acting as a pet. I had cats, dogs, hamsters, mice, but never had a turtle...

OOH I love this giveaway! Glad you decided to go through with it! :3 I'll try to stick around to figure what what the item is this time. I agree that the years seem to be passing faster! Maybe it's normal for people to feel this way as they grow older? That's my take on it anyway! xD

Yeah, unfortunately the only pets my school allows in dorms are fish XD Turtles are nice and quiet for the most part, pretty low maintenance. I took mine out for walks in the backyard and sunbathing over the summer! Only sad thing is that turtles aren't cuddly like fuzzy pets are x3 I'm happy to hear you got to bring your mouse along, and that you've had so many lovely pets <3

It's always good to see people coming each year :) And I think the same, as we grow older, time runs faster. Summers were so long when I was a kid, there was a lot of time to play. Now... this year only started, and it's December. Crazy.

Ah, yeah, I thought they are not cuddly. I guess a turtle would be safe from my kids. I hope they will understand to be more careful with little pets as they grew up.

I am glad to see you kept up with this give-a-way... I was missing it :) I was looking at my prefs earlier today and realized that my account is 8 years old! Strange to think! And I agree that the older you get the faster time seems to fly. I swear it feels like summer just barely started, yet suddenly it's now winter-cold, and Christmas is only 2 weeks away! where did the time go?? :)

I'm really fine, thank you. My favourite Professor accepted me for my dissertation, I will start next winter <3 He's really awesome, I'm more than happy because he told me he appreciates me that much that he will search for a topic himself. ^^ I will drive home soon and I just love christmas at my grandparents. How are you?

I'm so glad you like it :) Hahh, yes. My acc is 9 yrs and 8 months. It's so strange to think about. And I'm hosting this giveaway at least for the 6th time, I found my 2010 thread. Just wow. But I hope the year will slow down for the next few weeks and we can be with our loved ones :)

It's so hard to balance between work and family. I still have a few days to work this year, but I will just enjoy all my time with my kids (if they don't try to kill my nerves XD)

oohh that is such a cute idea - i have never seen a giveaway like this. i will totally stick around and wait for hints ♥ that sounds so much fun :) and thank you for doing this giveaway with so less time on your hands, it is appreciated very much and thank you for your love! i wish you and your family a happy Luminaire :) i bet your kids can´t wait for christmas ^^ my year was okay, we met a nice person who shares her garden with us, she moved away and needed someone to look after it, and there are like over ten appletrees and we helped picking literally more than 1000s of apples and made our own applejuice it was hard work but also fun :) how was yours? ❤
