Are you insane? You expect me to spend 25,000 minutes -- which I believe is the equivalent of working a full time job for ten weeks -- for this achievement? I am supposed to sit here 8 hours a day for the entire winter season -- assuming the site was actually functional -- just to buy the blasted things? That doesn't even take into account any other activities on the site -- like actually throwing them. It often takes even longer than 30 seconds for a page to load with the new and improved "move" glitches, lags, and crashes. At the very least this year you should allow us to buy them in bulk. How about I can buy 100 at a time, but only once every twelve hours? That would speed up the process considerably. Then I could spend my time swearing because the snowtapult page takes two minutes to load, and not swearing because the shop page takes two minutes to load.

Am I the only one who thinks one at a time, max of 2 per minute, for 25,000 minutes (over 400 hours) is just wrong?

I live in MN, and whatever you've heard... It's much worse.

There's already a suggestion thread for this.

We added that tier when everyone was throwing a lot of snowballs for the events. It wasn&;t a "oh let&;s make people go crazy this luminaire" it was usually a "wow people are already throwing a lot, let&;s reward that a bit"
from this very relevant thread

And while I do support bulk buys/lower timers/whatever, I also want to point out that there's no reason anyone has to get the achievement all at once. Long term goals are an okay thing to have.

I mean, some achievements are meant to take a long time to complete. I don't honestly see the problem with it?

I agree. Not a fan of everything getting easier.

I think there's a difference between an achievement being attainable and being impossible. Right now, with the time limit, it's pretty much impossible. It's not an achievement I even care about, but I do like snowballing random people and the 30 second wait between purchases is very odd.

Why does it have to be done in one season? Long-term goals are part of achievements, too.

I'm at ~4.3k and I'm steadily working on it. Would I like to be able to slam it out and be done with it? Sure. But not all achievements are like that. Subeta is a game, and sometimes games take a little work.

Unless it's a one time only event, I personally see no problem with it?

I only need to throw 10K snowballs this year to reach the max. But I'm still finding it very, very frustrating having to buy 1 snowball at a time.

I agree that achievements don't have to be done all at once, I have been working on this one for a couple of years. But like the OP said, it could be set up to buy 25/50/100 balls at once with a time limit equivalent to the 30 sec limit. Then it still takes time to do the achievement but the frustration level goes way down.
