The summer raffle prizes were extremely disappointing. While I understand that not everyone can win, the summer raffle required us to do some very expensive tasks (scrolls, baking, etc) and we were promised that the rewards would be worth the expense of those tasks. I entered the raffle every day (except one) and received a golden kerubi elixir, pink food coloring, and coal (which can be purchased in the main shops for less than 500 sP). These prizes are worth about 200,000 sP together, but I spent millions on completing the tasks. I can't imagine how people who spent more and won less are feeling right now. Judging from the comments on the news post, it seems like a lot of us are in the same boat. If a raffle comes back in the future, it would be much more reasonable to remove the very expensive tasks. To be honest, I would have received the unlucky forum title rather than win any of those prizes.

As we've stated in the news post and the other thread in this forum (Raffle prizes. Lock, please? ): we only awarded the extra prizes after the initial ones had been handed out. Anyone who got a "junk" prize would have won nothing--we pulled those prizes after we had completed the original ones (starting with the best and going down from there).

I'm sorry you didn't win a better prize, but you would have received nothing had we not added more. We wanted more people to win something at least. :) We're reusing the title. We mentioned since day one that we may add additional prizes. This was a raffle (a risk) that was very clear from the get go.

Please use the other topic if you'd like to continue discussing this!

I think I spent 300k on the one scroll I had to make and maybe 500-600k for each baked good? I didn't win anything from the raffle, but I didn't spend enough to be upset about the results. :P
