So I've made some suggestions on improving the wishlists in the past because I am very dependent on this damn thing and I know a few other suggestions have been made before, so I'll try to link the ones from pages 1-4 here. Tell me if I've missed any and feel free to add more possible suggestions! Ping if you want to add your own suggestions!

I'll edit this along the way, but these are just some suggestions for the WL that I think would be pretty beneficial in the long run.
I love all these suggestions! Yes to all!
Also, specifically regarding
Maybe the wishlist boxes would be different colors? like we could assign a color code to the specific category? maybe? I know nothing of programming AHHHH :o ORRRR definitely a way to search our own wishlists? so I'm completely supporting this because ... yeah we have big wishlists and lots of them
omg, yes please to all of this! ESPECIALLY being able to see what category a WL item is in-- i have so many pet TCs, foods i need for my dog, clothes, and books, and achievement stuff all in different categories and sometimes i just can't remember at all which one they belong to. it can be such a hassle to check (and that's an understatement tbh) ;_;
I especially like the private category suggestion. I posted in that thread at the time, but basically the counter argument was that you could label it "not to buy" or "personal use", but when you search for items in other people's wishlists, it doesn't show the category. So that solution only works when someone is specifically going in your wishlist.
I use wishlists not only for items I want, but to track certain things. Like foods my gourmand hasn't eaten yet. I don't necessarily want those items as gifts because I've already earned the highest level achievement for gourmand and only feed my pet when I encounter new eatables. I also use it to highlight things in my inventory, or to select transformable items. And many other uses where I don't particularly want to receive the items.

All of these suggestions are great! Personally I'd love to have an official way to mark some wishlist categories more important/urgent than others - oppose to having to name them "1 - Name, 2 - Name" or "Important, Reference". Just like a 0 to 3 star system, or maybe even color codes.
That's a great idea! Would you mind if I quote you in the OP?
I know that feeling. I have pets I want to buy TC items for and I'm just marking it down first before I buy them, but I'd rather people not buy from some of the lists since I'm not sure if I really want to buy them.
Right? I have over 60 categories I have to sort through, lol.
I would love for the wishlists to get some love! they are such an integral feature that i feel does the bare minimum right now. I def. support all of the suggestions! I have been neglecting my tc's lately (and my wardrobe even) and not buying for them just for the simple fact that it's such a pain with so many pets rn. I'm all for simplicity and making things more efficient <3
I love the suggestion of being able to check which WL an item is in. I have some items on multiple wishlists at the moment and if you remove it from one I believe it removes it from all of them!
Making some private would be great too, at 44 pets I have at least 20 WL devoted specifically to pet TC items I want/need before I feel the pet is complete and while I appreciate the help a lot of the items are not always set in stone.
If I have claimed a Dance from you and do not immediately Dance I will get back to you.

[/font]Has anyone suggested the ability to search items within your WL? I know I tend to recategorize, so this would be very helpful imo!
hiii ;o;
I think the ' You have this item on your wishlist" message was super helpful and there was a mention by Keith that something similar would be implemented, but I don't think it ever was. I would love if that feature returned!
That suggestion I think had been made, I'll look for it later when I actually wake up if you want
Yea, I feel like it was made before, but it probably got bumped p far LOL.
Yea, I wish that was back. ;; One of the most useful features definitely.
The ability to mass move items into a category instead of moving each item individually.
Also a while back I decided to clear my WL and start over and I was pretty annoyed to find thousands of items had been moved over to the Unsorted category instead of being deleted. So maybe when you delete a category you get an option to delete the items with the category OR move them to another category.
I also really like the idea of colorizing the categories.
I think the 2nd and 3rd suggestions weren't very popular/were deemed unnecessary, though the other 3 are good suggestions!
honestly I just went through some of the older pages and control+f the word wish and copied them, did minimal reading of the suggestions :p
that should be most of them, may have missed a few though. I didn't see searching but I swear I've read that suggestion before.
Ngl I probably made the same suggestion like ages ago, but I'm not too sure. It does look familiar to me as well.
if you wanted to make it so you have a thread to link this to, if it turns up at a later date we can lock the new one and just link the old one. or no thread needs to be made and just take feedback about that idea here. it's up to you, not a big deal either way :)
