Okay so i've done 4 pete quests so far today, no other quests just him, and he isn't giving items?? Is anyone else getting this? Or getting this on other quests? (Besides Saggi since he never gives them anyway) Edit: I got an item from Carl, Quentin, and Wiz Tokens from the Wizard but no items from Cinthia, Alexander (library), Maleria, and Nori. Can't do Sarah quests so i couldn't tell you

I haven't got any items from Cinthia and I'm 5 quests in. also noticed I didn't get anything from Alexander when I was doing Shinwa's earlier except obviously the bracelet shard.

They seem to playing around with prizes at the moment. I'm alright with fewer items personally but I understand that it's a big thing for other users.

I wondered what was going on. Guess this means I won't be doing all my quests anymore. I liked the chance to get SBQ or newly released items.

Quests are such a big income for most people, it would have been nice to get a heads up about the changes, definitely if it's a big change like no items at all, even if it's still in testing. It's only logical people were thinking this was a bug. Personally, I'd rather have items than sP. Well, not one or the other, a bit less sp, and a bit rarer items. Are almost all quests now cheap Saggi's? Not knowing which item you're getting, with a chance of a rarer item, is part of the fun of questing. Only getting sP just makes it boring? Why would we quest in 4 less rewarding sP quests, when we have Saggi?

Pete was my favorite quest BECAUSE of the items. They were always so random, you never knew what you were gonna get and what you could use or frag! It made it fun. Idk maybe I'm just a lame weirdo or something, but the surprise was what made it interesting. Just getting sP is monotonous.

I'm on the fence about this.

Kinda salty about this because quests were a decent source of newly released items and items in general if you couldn't be bothered to restock or faff around with vending (and the buckets of duplicate items that come from it). Quests are sP dispensers now, there's no excitement to it.

On the other hand... Less of my shop and vault is getting clogged up with items, meaning that I don't have to buy a GA as frequently to autoprice (hell to the yes).

Not gonna lie, I don't like this at all. Alexander in particular is one of my favorite quests to do because he puts rares and super rares into the circulation. In particular, Gourmand foods and plushies/beanbags that I still need and can't restock. It's absolutely purely a luck thing, but it's worked in my favor so many times and I'm appreciative.

Items are pretty much the whole reason I do quests (because I never bother with Saggi), so... this pretty much makes me not want to do quests very much. I realize they're testing it out, but the whole point of testing is to receive feedback and see what's working/what isn't, so. Please don't do the thing, Subeta. I'll be a very sad panda.

Seems strange to me that Alexander would stop giving items, since he was known to put retired books out, which was the big draw

No items always made sense for Saggitarius, since the whole draw of his quest is the high sp payout. I dunno, no items for quest givers like Pete, Mori/Nori and Alexander just seems weird to me. At that point, the quests are nigh-identical, save for the items they ask for. Might as well just shave down a bunch of quest givers and increase the payout of the remaining ones if they're all going to be interchangable.

I miss getting items too. I mostly suck at restocking and quests were my only way to really get new/good items. Also I loved getting those "Surprise" items from quests, made questing worth it. Now I just don't feel it's worth doing anymore. Pretty boring actually. :(

I hope the quest givers at least have items for the weekend quests, because otherwise what is the point?

I've only done a few quests today but Pete seems to be giving out items again.

I can't say I'm too worried or disappointed by the removal of item rewards. The sp rewards are still more than comfortable, so I'm not worried about losing out. Sure, I'm going to miss the odd good thing, but the vast majority of items were overly common, low value junk that weren't worth acquiring in the first place. There are a lot of items which are worth so little of slowly losing what value they had. I'd rather have items that were worth having, rather than just having items.

It might be an idea to have quests randomly drop items every so often (Roughly one in every five quests? One in ten?) just to keep things more interesting.

I am not even gonna bother with quests anymore if this becomes permanent. To be honest I'm not even gonna bother buying a gold account or play that much anymore. I feel like subeta is getting worse with every so called improvement, I find less reasons to stay here with every passing day shrugs

How backwards of staff. If anything, SP should have been removed and quests should be giving out only items as prizes.

This is awful! D: what about shops and their achievement tiers? W-why this? I love all the neat items on here. The vast amount of items is one really stellar thing about subeta! Pet treasures, galleries, useless hoarding... those are things that keep users on the site.

I just would really like to know the logic behind this. Is there something I'm missing? :/

I haven't noticed this myself, because I pay horrendously little attention to the quest rewards and just check my inventory after I finished everything (shame on me) I've recently started doing quests again (after ignoring them for years) just because of the chance of getting cool items, I even doled out money for a GA to autoprice my shop. IMO if items were removed or reduced from quests I will very quickly lose interest again. The random item drops from quests and especially the small chance of getting rare items like SubQ make questing fun for me.
For instance Wizard and Saggi while lucrative are the most boring quests for me to do cause the rewards are predictable.

First shops were made tiny and I didn't have space for my quest items anymore. Now quests won't give out items anymore and my shop won't fill anymore.

The first change made me entire quit and I only returned two weeks ago and now this happens?
