so I need some help with Sanctification. he's going to be a priestly character that's not very priestly nor holy in any manner, and the "sinful" things that he's doing would more in likely get him denounced and shunned by the church (this is just the basic outline I have for him since I got the pet today lol)

I was thinking he could be any one of these colors: Bloodred Lain Glacier Lain Darkmatter Jollin Darkmatter Neela Sweetheart Kumos Angelic Montre

but I'm not sure which one fits the best, or if there's one I haven't listed that fits better. I think the angelic montre is going to be a last resort, since the potions cost so much, and I already have a character that's going to be one.

he's also eventually going to get a simplistic overlay wearing a priest cassock and a rosary, so I sort of feel like the two darkmatter poses or the sweetheart one might fit better for that? I have the worst time deciding things when there's multiple options lol ;;

I really like the concept you have for this character. I feel that the darkmatter neela would portray it best, but I am a bit biased toward neelas haha

Out of all of them, I honestly like the Neela's pose the best (with the Sweetheart Kumos being a close second), but the other colors and poses also have potential too, which is why I'm so torn between them all xD;

What kind of "sinful" things does this priest do? O: that might help as well

Got distracted by the pawn shop oops His church is one that isn't very open about a lot of things (he basically followed his father's footsteps and became head priest of the church because if he didn't his family would disown him, among other things) and he's done his best to follow those sorts of close-minded ways of thinking since he was a small child (you can probably see where this is going lmao).

A stranger (a hustler/gambler/conman/ect.) rolls into town one day, "just passing through and needed a place to rest," and catches the priest's eye and attention -- something he plays off as "he looks like a troubled soul that should spend more time at church" when people notice.

Long story short, priest falls super hard for stranger (sin), stranger notices and subtly flirts, and they start behind-closed-doors affairs (even more sin) that break more than enough of the priest's holy vows to have him damned and stoned by everyone in town.

I want to add a kick while he's down and maybe have the stranger either be a vampire or demon of some sort, but I'm up in the air about that still.

It's cliche as fuck and might be changed here and there along the way, but that's sort of the idea I have for him right now.

Wow, cliche or not, way better than anything I can come up with xD I still stick with the darkmatter neela. I think its sounding more fitting as I hear more about your idea

Yeah, the more I mull his story around in my mind, the more I feel either the Darkmatter Neela or the Sweetheart Kumos poses fit the best, and now I'm stuck between the two xD it's better than being stuck between six different color poses like I originally was lmao

I personally like the BR Lain for this concept, sth about it really matches your idea imo.

Do you consider Reborn colour? As a reference to Frollo's song, Hellfire.

I was going to suggest the bloodred Lain but I think a reborn lain actually would be pretty fitting. I agree that in some respects it reminds me of the Hunchback of Notre Dame song, Hellfire story wise.
