I've been brainstorming a little with Laurentin, who has gotten a bit of a face lift and a whole new backstory, including a name change, yay. However, I'm absolutely awful at finding a new, more suitable species/colour for him, and so I come asking for help. There's brief character notes listed on his profile, but the basic gist is that his family's got money, he doesn't, but has a habit of spending it anyway. Bit of a gambler and a social butterfly, except he's no longer in the good graces of many of his peers, yet he'd likes to pretend otherwise. Not quite sure yet which time period I'm aiming for, something (very) loosely around 16th and 17th centuries. I've started on his TC, but I'm kind of stuck at what else to add.

hmm, his art very much reminds me of a nostalgic legeica, but if you don't like that maybe a steamwork legeica? I shall return with TC suggestions c: [edit]

I am very fond of the idea of turning him into a harvest neela, that colour would be quite perfect! The species itself wouldn't be a problem, but I'd have to wait for a while to get my hands on that potion. I've got a couple of pitchers that I haven't used yet, so the cheapest way would be to wait until Fireside starts, hmmm. I'm also really digging the nostalgic legeica though, I'll have to weight my options some more P: But thanks so much!

i went and added a bunch of your suggestions in his tc! it's starting to take shape already, thanks!! (I always admire your tc so much, they're my faves tbh). I didn't even realise until now that subeta doesn't seem to have a single saddle item or much anything related to riding, that's ..odd.

honestly my first thought was an experiment 104 because they've sort of got that regal/refined yet puckish look to them (also lol social "butterfly") and the colors seem appropriate. but of course zapping is... ha... yeeaahh.

perhaps rococo's tc might have some relevant items?

I never really thought of them as very regal before, but now that you mentioned, I do see it!! I kind of want to start zapping now just to justify that butterfly pun. I've been meaning to zap one of my other pets into a 104 for.. quite some time now, might as well go along with it one of these days. Avoiding the zapper altogether is just so much easier lol.

.. I gotta say, I never noticed before that those experiments have tiny little human hands, that is .. kind of creepy, actually.

ikr, now I have an even mightier need, imagine how pretty they could be ;-; I know next to nothing about riding, but I could totes see it as a game maybe, with related item prizes? like one of those carnival games where you bet on a [horse] and cheer for it to win and then reap the rewards? or actual hikei/legeica/neela races or something, it could be fun. encourage the children to gamble their pocket change

Nostalgic Legeica would definitely be a good option. You could even go so far as to make an overlay to change his colors into that of a Harvest pet if you really wanted. Likewise a harvest Legeica would be spot on too. :P

ooo yeah, they could introduce a bunch of nice stuff that way! and they could do both western and english riding and open up so many possibilities I know so many people would use that as tc fodder lol
