im of chinese descent so i like hunting for chinese words which also double as cute names but idk will this get any support? since there are a lot of languages after all, more than just chinese anyway

Why don't you make one? There's a ton of non-english names/words popping up in the RW name list, though the OP won't put them in the actual list themselves.

This sounds like a neat idea! You could always get a bunch of people together with different mother tongues, each who would be responsible for one/multiple language sections of the list depending on their fluency, so that it doesn't fall to one person to update everything :D I'm Finnish myself, but could handle Swedish and perhaps other Nordic languages in a pinch, if there happens to be need for such.

I think you should list meanings if it's a word. Names, not so much. It seems more inspirational for potential owners, I think. I could potentially help with Japanese.

are you a native speaker Japanese speaker? c: i think a lot of people roughly know Japanese (even me, a little but i'm not fluent in it T.T) i know a some Chinese names that have no translation or if misinterpreted can have very weird meanings xD i guess you're right, we can stick to words~

Perhaps start a thread with the languages you have volunteers for already and you can always add as more folks step forward?

It seems that we have a lot of Chinese speakers on site, but if needed, my native tongue is Mandarin Chinese.
