, thank you for the nice comment on my HA. I really like it but wasn't sure I could do much with an HA on it. I was right, but found a wig I could use so the elephant's eye still showed. It's pretty cute all on it's own or with another animal in the front. Probably won't use it much. 😄 You're so funny or sadistic I don't know which. First funny, then you got me thinking about Christmas and got all up tight. hahahaha

Went outside and cleaned up a flower bed in the rain. Every sunny day, I've had something else that needed to be done. So today was a free day and decided I couldn't let a fine rain stop me. It was really pleasant until the workers came to continue with their repaving of our street. Then I decided I'd better come in. If I fell over the curb they'd probably just tar and gravel over me. That would mess up the new paving job!

Hi all. Sorry for the late reply but i was so tired (from walking) and had a headache (from all info) yesterday i went to bed early!!!

New job so far is great! Nice co-workers and clients, doing much the same as i did but more hours and other shifts (also nights). I need to get use to getting up earlier and starting earlier (7am instead of 7:30am). Also i walk way more then i did at my old job, my poor legs and feet needed a rest yesterday and today, lol!!! This whole week they are training me and next week i am on my own, can call for help.

Just popping in to say Hi!!!! It has been a long long month for me, kind of glad May is over and June is here.

Eeekk, no Christmas talk please!!! lol Actually no I have a lot to do for Christmas so much to get ready for seven months doesn't seem like long enough. Yea it's pretty early for christmas talk. But i usually start christmas shopping for gifts the start of the year so i won't be stressed out by the time it comes around.

It's been cloudy and rainy the last few days. Yesterday it was cloudy and hot but no rain. Today they are calling for scattered thunderstorms. I feel so bad for Texas. Some areas are getting so much rain that it's flooding and it can't go anywhere so people are either stuck in their homes or they have to leave in a boat because they can't drive. I think a lot of people have just left until the water goes away but I'm not sure.

It sounds like you have a great plan so you don't stress out when Christmas comes.We only buy for my daughter so I'm pretty lucky when it comes to Christmas also.I hope the flooding is over soon.I feel sorry for Texas & anyone else that floods also.Our house use to flood.Believe me it is know fun having to pump water out of your house,what a mess :/

Yea it does make things easier. I usually just shop for my parents, my grandma and a few friends. My mom helps figure out idea's for everyone else. Where i used to live before i moved back home flooded. They had to use a shop vacuum type thing to get up the water and it took them forever to get it out of the basement and then it smelled horrible forever afterwards. I had to put towels against the wall to stop some of the water it was just a total mess. I was lucky though that it never went as far as my bedroom.

It's nice your mom can come up with idea's for gifts for the rest of people you have to get gifts for.My mom used to be so good at that also.=)
You were lucky it didn't go as far as your bedroom & Oh Boy what a mess it is.Our house we use to live in,the backroom was about 1 foot lower than the rest of the house, flooded all the time.we used 2 little pumps & a shop vac to get the water out too.but it eventually made all our floors wet, all over the house.the people that bought it after us tore the house down.They are going to have to raise the land withvsome how as high as the neighbors, which are about 1 foot or so higher than our use to be house was.Our house & our neighbor land flooded all the time.so it was higher land (neighbor next to us),lower land(ours), lower land(neighbor on the other side of us ), then high land (neighbor next to him). It's a big mess & I'm so glad I don't have to worry about that any more :D The best thing I could have ever done was move to an apartment.

Wow that does sound like a total mess also. They had someone come try and fix the leak by having them dig down near the house and put something but it never worked because the guy didn't do a good job at all and they never paid him because of it. That's good you don't have to deal with that anymore. I've never lived in an apartment before. This house me and my parents live in has no basement and it's pretty high up on land that no leaks for water to come in. So we don't have to deal with it either. Plus where i used to live the house is really old and should be torn down because it's not safe. That is another reason why it had that issue I'm sure.

It is really quiet in here today. Everyone might be at pools or something outside since it's nice. I took my swimsuit to the tailor yesterday to get fixed. It was to big in the front and the straps were kinda lose. I can't wait to get it back and not have to worry about it. But it will take her a week. I'm just glad to get it done before we end up going to the pool. I love my other swimsuit more but I've had it for a long time and it's a pain to keep looking for another one so it was just easier to get this new one fixed and have it to wear until i find another one i really like. I like this one it's just darker in color then i really wanted. It's blue, green, little bit of purple and black. I was hoping to find a purple one or blue and purple kinda lighter. But it's been hard finding the style i want and color.

That is what was happening to our house it was starting to sink,That wasn't there when we leaved in it.But when we left in was sinking in the one corner really bad,where our wood stove was.that started very fast. the house is built on sand.not good at all.So it needed to be torn down also.The land is great.they need to build up the land so it's higher Then put a new house on it.=)

Well i just had 2 eveninshifts, they where warm! It's been very warm here the last few days. and my poor feet, so tired afterwards. Today and tomorrow i have night shifts (not alone with someone to tell me all)... Ooh boy i haven't had those in 6 years...

confusion comes with old age hahahaha ;D I hope the weather cools down for you.working in the heat,doesn't make it easy.Hopefully your body will feel better when your on your own.It sounds like their giving you pretty good training & You know a lot already :D
