What do you keep in your pets' treasure chests? Just curious.

The only pets I currently own are fandom pets, and I'm trying to put items that are related to that character in it.

So far I've only worked on Asgore's though. I filled his treasure chest with anything that refers to Undertale just randomly, but I do have a certain pattern in mind that I'm going to start to work on today actually. Having items that refer to each character suits him nicely, I think.

For Kari & TK I only plan on items specifically to their character alone since it would be weird to have two treasure chests dedicated to the same lore.

Oh man, my daughter is obsessed with Undertale (One of my pets is named Sans-The-Skeleton because of her). I didn't know it had such a big following.

Like people above me have mentioned, the most usual way to fill TCs is to get something that relates to the pet's character and/or their story. I also like to think about colour schemes, be it just sticking to a few shades / colour combos or going through a spectrum. (using a spectrum also allows me to include items that aren't strictly related to the character, but fit the atmosphere. ) Right now I've got quite a few fanpets, so finding items is easier for them than for my OCs, hah.

I've also seen people who collect things in their pet TCs, like minions or certain kind of items, if that's more your style. c:

(((another Undertale fan here btw, it's such a good game.))

TC is a super fun aspect for me on subeta. I enjoy filling them A LOT. Most of the time, I fill TCs based on my characters' storylines/occupations/hobbies/social classes/personalities/cultures, or in some cases, certain color schemes. Though I try really hard not to overlap themes between pets. I don't want two detective pets both collecting detective things, or vampire pets both collecting bloody things (my vampire pet actually collects pretty items in all shades of gold).

In some occasions, my characters were actually more inspired by the TC themes. Sometimes I just had this urge to collect a certain things in a TC, then, I was like, "what kind of character can I come up with for these items?"

i do the same thing! for instance, my pet veranda arose out of the desire to have a pet with a TC full of cute/pretty tea and pastry and sweets related items, and maeby came from wanting to collect diner food items, and intricate was perfect to house my collection of gemstones and crystals.

other times, when i have the character in mind first, i just look for all the aesthetically pleasing items i can find that relate to the character / what they do / what they like / who they are.

My TCs are related to the characters my pets have in some way or another. Some have items they like, have everyday uses for, or relate to their professions. Others have treasures that tell their story. Some of my pets that are still a work in process have more of a generalized theme vs. being directly character related, at least until I get things fleshed out.

A couple of my pets treasures do overlap as far as theme goes. For example, Iridus and Recilla work together, so their treasures are both related to science and medical themes. Eisen and Unholy have nothing to do with each other, but they both have roses in their treasures because why not.

The best way to be happy with someone is to be happy alone. That way, company is a matter of choice and not a necessity.

I love filling treasures e_____e I've been dis-assembling my hoard and moving items, lots of new TC ideas with all my collections that can't be in one shop. I've got one pet who collections gold things, a pet that likes brightly colored toys and candy, I'm moving my book hoard to my pet Oblio's treasure, Jamarcus has butterfly items, unicorn items, some garden things... several of my pets have gardens, but I try to keep all the items unique between their individual TCs. Luckily Subeta has soooo many beautiful plant, floral and gardening items.

I'm planning currently a pet who will have alien items, and a pet who will have all my ghost/demon items... so many collections, so little sp for treasure chest slots.

Sometimes I go with a theme (pet name, etc), sometimes I just put in things that I like. So right now, Abhorrence has an assortment of drinks and sweets..

For Tears, it's just his name spelled out in stickers :p

Companion is my only other pet who's TC I'm working on currently and she gets all the doctor who things I can find (I think she currently only has like three things, I'm bad at this xD). Or at least things that remind me of one of the companions.

I put things in their treasure that I think my pet would like depending on the character that I've created for them. Usually it's clothing and other things relevant to their interests. Some examples- in Holtz's treasure there's a lot of books and spooky/occult things, Rudawski's got a lot of alcoholic drinks in her's, and I plan on putting a lot of spell ingredients in Chevonne's treasure.

I also try to stick to a certain color scheme, determined by what color the pet is & their actual character design.

Each of my pets has a specific theme, or set of themes, that their treasure covers. The only exception to this is Riordyn, who collects anything related to my boyfriend and I's life plus any items we just like.

I used to base treasures around my pets' characters, but now I pick out a theme that I think would have enough items for a TC the size I like (or a smaller one I'm really passionate about). Sometimes I'll pick based more on what pet color/species I'm going to make, since I'm collecting most of the non-fill Aeanoid colors. I don't really do characters for my pets anymore beyond some very basic personality/story bits I don't write out.

Oh good. I do the exact same thing xD. I'll collect items and then I'll wonder how to organize them into a TC for one of my pets. I actually have a harder time with my current fan pet right now, considering I'm running out of fan items to place in their TC.

Kayii collects Ice Cream/Ice/Snow and Japanese Mythology/Culture based items. Alymere, being my Librarian pet, collects mostly books. I have a Tea Shop owner pet who naturally collects all of the traditional teas, and her apprentice who has all the iced teas/smoothies + her own hobbies. One of my pets is a painter, and collects things related to that craft, another is a Seamstress, and another is a metal worker. One is a Fae and strictly collects silly items or items with ridiculous descriptions, like The other is a Nightmare Spirit, so shadows and scary things. I could go on.

Well. For the legend of zelda, I tried to tell the entire story of the ocarina of time with the tc. So there's a lot there. It's the tc I'm most proud of. For Licker, just a few key items from the story, which is the case for most of my other pets. They're nearly all fan pets, because I'm a hopeless fan girl lol.

@ Mythology Sometimes fan pets are the hardest to work with xD. I'm currently working on a music tribute pet, and I want to use items to represent all their songs (one or two items per song). But boy, some songs are just so hard to represent with subeta items xD.

Dang, hope you're able to find something for all of them! I think outside of that my hardest pet to get items for has been the one that collects very silly/nonsense items + items with nonsense descriptions.

Depends on what type of pet it is. For the pets I have based on real people/real places/gods/goddesses in mythology the pet treasures generally have stuff related to either their occupation/the place the pet is based on or the mythological function of the god/goddess they're based on.

For pets that I have that are their own stories and not based on anything, it's usually items, and things relating back to their pet story.
