This is for all questions, etc. for the event. With new players, there will be a lot to answer, and I'll do some background threads for information before the main event opens.

As to the structure, which, as those of you who are veterans know, adapts to what is needed, I have a few ideas.

1. First of all, , (who I hope has a team by now, since she's AWESOME,) straight out nailed the major cause of the stress in the WS3, and probably the biggest reason behind some of our MIA players: the RP portions. Fehler isn't the only one who hates to write, and even those who do, tend to fight among themselves on who's doing what when and why.

So, I'm going to propose this: NO TEAM-BASED, TEAM SCORED RPs! Instead, appoint ONE scribe or chronicler who will keep a "diary" of what is happening with your adventure. Pick someone you all trust and know will be fair, and PLEASE, someone who likes to write. All of you can tend submit ONLY your part in the adventure, or simply let the chronicler to it for you. It is this person who will turn in a shared look at what you did for this piece. Flip side to this is that the rest of the team can't complain.

Oh, do keep it less than a novella if you can. Makes it easier on the score end as well.

2. If you like this idea, do the same for puzzle-solving. If you can't do them, don't! Just make sure you have one of two folks than can, and you agree to trust the solution. Idea works for the HA parts too. Let your fashionistas dress, and you don't have to worry. And then there's "DA BOSS," AKA Team Captain. Get a worthy organizer and trust that person, along with the Co-Captain, to organize everything, keep the lists of tasks and what you need, etc. etc. Basically, it's the symbiosis of a coordinated team of specialists fusing together. No one is supposed to do everything, or even try. Do what you can; and whatever you pick as your job, and while we're on that subject....

3. New role for team member: THE LINK. (Hopefully, this will let some folks who are "sitting out and hate it" participate.) If your team is at a really hard juncture and needs an outside hand, you may "phone home" to this person, and they can do some "research." What does this mean? This means that they, and only they, can get a direct clue from me, and those clues will make a BIG difference (because I'm sneaky like that. :) ) You may have ONE per team.

Otherwise, format will be pretty much the same. Some challenges optional for Traveler class, but extra credit if tried; Adventure class with the "whole sub sandwich." Puzzles, RPs, HA contests, etc. all the Squirrely Stuff. Please subscribe to all threads, and it would be nice if you didn't ping me to closed groups because I can't respond. :D

1. Do we need donations this year? YES!! Always, and it can be anything! If it's 6 mill and over, or a CW, or rare retired, it will go straight to the Squirrel's Bounty, which is our Gallery. If not, it goes in the Squirrel's Stash, and the till of that is used for NOTHING else, but to buy stuff for prizes. Seriously. Dedicated shop. I mean it.

2. Remaking teams is good; new teams are good; old and new names are good; it's all good.

3. Can we keep our classes? Yes! Roles are what you do; your class is what your character is.

4. Companions? Absolutely, and the expected companion challenge that a lot of you like.

5. Can we use the share function for HAs? Sure, if it works. This is ONLY a player-run event. I have no control over ANY portion of ANY of Subeta's inner working. Nada.

6. Will Subeta come up with something again this year? Why not--they haven't disappointed us yet. ;D

7. Are newbies welcome? YOU BETCHYA!

How long? Usually 10 weeks or so. It depends.

Lappy was abused; isn't that new? Nope. He was given by the princess to the wizard who was, if you recall, NOT a nice guy. When he came through the sidhe mist and Larianne found him, he was limping and "dilapidated," hence Lappy!

Please, if you are team forming, look at the folks who are alone, or only with with one other and need a team. I'm seeing FABULOUS players there and Ellak City needs experience! Don't let anyone be orphaned for this! The benevolent diabolical creator begs you!

The flash and Marvel Legends of Tomorrow are both shows of which the travel through time and to other dimensions. I imagine the Master is a time traveler.

Can a team form that may or may not be super active...I mean we are in it for fun not for being top of the food chain :)

We find that we keep kind of a diary in our subetalodge RP acc't. It's a separate section labelled so it's easy to find and go back to to read.We usually just copy whatever is given to us for info. It makes things much easier i think.Someone will chuck it in there if they see it's not in there yet. :)

Shhhh don't let it get out that I do that. Bad enough everyone feels I pushed off a cliff never to be seen or heard again.

does the link still role play or are they soley on the sidelines until that team needs a clue and then they deliver the clue?

Ooh fun idea, that will make things a lot easier for many people! The control freak in me will have a really hard time giving up all but one aspect of the challenges XD And deciding between HAs, puzzles, and what is written about my OC?? D: deep breaths Discussing with the team will make it easy to figure out. ^_^

How often can we use the LINK? Is this a one time deal - choose wisely thing, a three strikes or so and you're out, or whenever necessary? And will there be small point deductions or something for using it to balance out the bonus info we're getting?

Also, thank you for the note on novellas. I am guilty of this more often than most in daily communication, but it's such a bummer when the stories are interesting and I want to read all the teams' RPs but end up not having the stamina to get through them. XD Plus, I always worry that our RP might be too short when I see some of the crazy intricate/detailed entries. So this is good news to me. ^_^
