hello! i'm sand, and this is the stand. i make art and i would like you to pay for it 👍 i'm new to the art market, so tips and suggestions are very welcome! rules and guidelines: > when claiming a slot, please add your references, your choice of style and size, and your form of payment. > i will then send you a rough sketch of the drawing. if you approve it, i will then request the full payment for the commission. after it comes through, i will finish and deliver your piece. after it is done, you can still ask for small corrections and alterations before we go on our merry ways. > paypal payments will require you to cover an international transfer fee of 5.99% + 0.30 USD. > things i will draw: pretty much everything. please message me if you would like to see examples of things i didn't include here! > average working time: 1 to 3 days. i will keep you informed if something makes me take longer than a few days to finish a piece. > please picture the stand like this:and not like this:

goddess of daylight
Based off of this poem I wrote:
Day.
She comes up over the horizon line slowly, leisurely, gold-leaden robes astride her back.
Her skin is fair, her hair bright. She touches with slender fingers the sleepy tendrils of tired plants and shows them what it is to be bright, luminous.
Her fingertips break through the clouds …
Her lemony gaze wakes the sleeping grass, breathes warmth into the wind. Her fingernails are crescent-shaped and glistening.
She steps with quiet feet over cold ground and her trailing robe makes it warm.
And this she does, peaking at noon, her strongest point, until she dies again and is too weak to hold back her dark sister, the ---
Night. -- the manifestation of "Day," sort of going off what was mentioned in the poem! A golden lady with long wispy golden hair wearing a robe of light and with a halo of light as well as a golden aura and rosy cheeks! Very bright character. And if possible maybe the ground behind her could be golden and light and the ground in front of her kind of dead/dark looking??
Let me know what you think!! When you choose which character you prefer I can elaborate more and find more appearance references and so on. :)
tribal lady
She is an old character I am revamping. She is part of a healing nomadic tribe that has magical powers and they are all very blonde and born with light complexions. She was an oddity and the only one born with dark hair and markings on her body. terrible face reference that I drew
She is very slender and wears an animal skull on her head like so to commemorate the animals that have passed away. I would like her fingertips to be glowing and life forms around her (I am thinking butterflies) glowing!!

His story is going to be about a man who drowned at sea and whose soul became connected with the ocean and he kind of is like the keeper of the drowned/waves/etc!!! I have a very nebulous idea of what his art will look like but for this one it would mostly be artistic freedom. I want his body to be sort of merged with a wave/fading into the ocean so it looks like he's one with the sea and have him looking upward (with glowing eyes maybe??) at a pearl in his hand? or like a mother of pearl shell? This piece would be more if you desire artistic freedom because I don't have a very concrete design in mind. :)
As for his appearance, I would like him to look Chris Evansy, but possibly with longer hair (that has starfish and other sea creatures in it! Maybe he could have like an anchor wrapped around him or algae growing on his feet?

ah, this is a really exciting commission! :D i think i will sketch out some thumbnails to send to you and and once we've settled on the idea i will send you the payment info via smail. backgrounds can be really time consuming! i think in this case i would ask for an extra 5 for a simple one, and 10 for a complex one. let me know how you feel about it, but maybe you should see the thumbs first? idk.

which of the characters are you wanting to do?
thank you!! honest, i'm really inspired by all these ideas! not all good stories or concepts are visually strong, but i feel like these have all very interesting imagery to them, which is very exciting to me as an artist! i would like to play around with all of them on paper and see where i can come up with the most interesting stuff myself. i think specially the first two perhaps can look nice with my take on them? i'm feeling no. 3 might bite me in the ass if i go for him c it's a lot of elements to tie together nicely, but i do like drawing pretty boys... but you'll see, i guess! oh, and i hope it's ok if i don't manage to send you anything today. i'm sketching now, but it's already eleven for me and i have class tomorrow at eight, so i'm probably going to bed soon.

Description: She's a berserk reaper. While on the jobs she's extremely serious with a looks can kill attitude. When she's off the clock, she's actually rather charismatic and easy going. The kind of person you not only want to be friends with but trust. Unfortunately, her because she's not extremely expressive, people aren't really aware of the in the beginning. Fortunately, she's not the shy type.

yeah, i was thinking lineless would be more of a painterly style, i'll definitely shade and highlight. i'm sorry for the bad refs, i'll be building more of them as i go along! cool character! i'll send a sketch for you to approve before i ask for payment. and usd would be preferred in this case, thank you!

@ raw alright, so i made some thumbs! just to clarify, these are just to show the general layout of a pic. i'm gonna put all the identifying details for each character when i'm doing the final version! please let me know which one you like better, and/or which changes you'd like for each (for example, on number 2, i was thinking she wouldn't be wearing the skull so we can see her face better, but i can add it too! or put it in the background. your choice.) click @ Mahanon i thought of having max in this pose, is that ok? please also let me know if you'd rather i draw more realistic, i think that would look cool too! click
