information from the news post
The user shops and galleries have been rewritten because they currently put a huge stress on our database, and it's affecting the ability of the site to function.
For the new shops and galleries, we’ve set limits for how many items you can have in each, which means we’ll be retiring the Super Shop! and Hoarder! achievements. Currently the limits are as follows: you can have 250 unique items in a shop, and 500 in a gallery. This limit doubles to 500 in a shop, 1000 in a gallery if you have a Gold Account. These limits are only for unique items, you'll be able to have as many duplicates as you'd like.
Your items won't disappear if your Gold Account expires while over the limit, you just won't be able to add any more until you have either sold/removed enough items or have an active Gold Account again. You can have up to 3 shops/galleries, or up to 6 with a Gold Account. We anticipate being able to raise these limits significantly, but we wanted to start off small and increase rather than starting off big and having to reduce it.
Gold Account testing for will be active until 11:59pm on April 16th. The new user shops/galleries will be released to everyone on the 17th. Once the new shops are live, you will not be able to add anything new to your old shops!
On April 24th, all old shops will be disabled. You’ll still be able to remove items from them, you just won’t be able to reprice items or have other users purchase from it.
The Super Shop! and Hoarder! achievements will be retired on the 17th once the shops/galleries go live for everyone.
Information and a link to the new shops can be found here if you're a Gold Account member. will start pushing changes/fixing bugs on the 13th, so keep that in mind as you submit feedback. We will continue to make any necessary changes once shops/galleries are live for everyone to make sure they’re working to their full potential!
We know this will be a big change for a lot of people, but it's a crucial step for the continued improvement and success of the site, and for your overall user experience.
faq
The reason we're doing something about it now is we believe the user shops have been causing huge bottlenecks in our database, and are a major reason for the 502s and 504s of late.
Item limits?? We've been warning these were coming for years, and they're finally here. But, as mentioned in the news post, we anticipate these initial limits will be raised quite a bit before we settle on final numbers. And even after they're "final" there's always the chance they could be raised again in the future.
Why aren't you fixing any bugs until the 13th? Vacation!! Well, really it's more of a staycation. My mom's coming to visit and mommy time is important when you live 2,000 miles apart!
How do I get to the new shops? Glad you asked! You can start making your own shops here, and the new shop search is located here. The new shop search will include results from both the new and legacy shops (until the old shops are disabled), so if you want to be sure you're getting the best prices, you should use it!
Is beta testing safe? Will I lose my items? All of the basic functions have been fully tested by staff members, and all of your items should be perfectly safe. That said, if anything goes wrong, please post here to tell me what went wrong, and file a ticket. Everything is being logged and a UA will be able to help you.
If I'm reporting a bug, what information should I include?
Will there be a way to move all of my items from an old gallery to a new one? We're talking about this behind the scenes, trying to come up with a solution, but right now there is no easy solution for it. For example, how to transfer an old shop to a new one that is bigger than the new item limits. Or simply how to move the items without killing the database.
We agree that it's a very important issue, and we will come up with a solution that we hope fits everyone's needs. In the meantime, access to your items in old shops and galleries will never go away, even after the shops themselves are disabled.

things to add
Since you are redoing the shops can you add a check box for remove all? Like the vaults.
On another note.. I am so glad I got my 45k unique items achievement this past week :D
So, how do you put items into the new shop or can you do that yet?
oh my god i'm so dumb how did i forget about that
i mean quick stock is already complete, but yeah give me just a few and i'll get it added to items' inventory pages :)
While this seems good, I do have an important question:
Is there not an option to be set where we can remove items from our old shops easily into the new ones? I mean, other than 'remove item' for each item listed. I have at least 2k items in my shop, and not only would it take a lot of time and be a general annoyance, I will have to transfer them when my inventory reaches its limit.
Like I said, I'm for this, but do you want us to remove each item individually and put them in the new shop, or is there a system that will be put into place for easier transfer?

I have 18786 items in my gallery (holiday one) Does that mean i have to split the items into separate galleries.. However with the 6 gallery ruling. i still won't be able to show my whole gallery. Or have i totally misunderstood whats going on.. I've worked hard on my gallery..so i want to be able to show it off.
Made a new shop, quick stocked it, and used shop search. Everything is working well so far 👍
this is something we're currently considering, but it's difficult because of a. item limits if your old shop has more unique items than the new shops will allow and b. we don't want to overload the servers.
but we definitely want to find a solution for you guys! even if it's something like "sign up legacy shop a to be transferred to new shop b and it will happen at a time soonish in the future"

I removed items from my gallery to my inventory. I deleted my gallery since I won't be needing it anymore and got this error message:
Fatal error: Cannot use object of type stdClass as array in /www/subeta.net/myshop.php on line 1314
A friend is someone who knows all about you and loves you just the same ❤.
New shop made and new gallery. I knew this was going to happen although sad to lose all my progress in my shop till and my gallery
So am I reading this right that Autopricer and Search results bringing up the Main Shops are not in place yet?
Yes, I have wondered about that as well. This is to help the servers, but if you put a system in place for users to temporarily use the feature, it would overload them.
Is there any possible way to do it on a user-to-user basis i.e. a certain number of users or shops, at a time, or is that not do-able?

Oh, and I played around a little and put the same item in both of my shops just to see what happens.
The old shop search just showed my old shop, the new one showed both of them, but I got the following error:
Warning: Illegal string offset 'amount' in /www/subeta.net/include/mvc/models/user_shops.php on line 464
Warning: Illegal string offset 'amount' in /www/subeta.net/include/mvc/models/user_shops.php on line 479
Warning: Illegal string offset 'stockid' in /www/subeta.net/include/mvc/models/user_shops.php on line 479
Getting a lot of "Warning: Illegal string offset 'amount/stockid'" errors in shop search now.
Does this mean I will need to move all the items from my gallery into a new one?
Harry Potter inspired dresses! !!

Why not just have a "move all to vault" option for each shop? That's whats going to end up happening anyway, since we can't keep them in shops, I'm certainly not going to get rid of anything so it all goes to the vault.
a suggestion, which someone might have made already, would be a remove all option. for example, sometimes i like to remove all the items from my shop under 1000sp (for fragmentising), but obviously there are other uses. but i'd find this really helpful instead of having to remove each item one at a time :D
oh another idea i had is being able to clear your shop log. that might help with space saving if users were able to clear their log :D

thank you! fixed.
yeah i think what you're saying is kind of what i meant in the second part of my post (which to be fair i edited in after posting so you may not have seen it :P)
