I didn't see an answer to this in your post, but apologies if this has already been asked and answered in the comments.

Has there been any thought to the "Making a Living" achievement? You mentioned that access to the old shops won't go away after they've been disabled, so we can still "check" them to go get achievements for limits already reached...but is there a way/a plan to be able to, idk, merge an old shops' stats over to the new system so that users won't lose their progress to the billion sP sales benchmark? It's a big one lol, so I'm sure some people who are a hundred million away or so would be pretty bummed.

When y'all decide how this is going to be addressed will there be an announcement somewhere?

we're gonna figure out something for that, just don't know what yet.

Also attempting to delete an empty gallery. [old shops] it's probably not as urgent as any fixes to the beta system, but I'm also not able to delete. I confirm the deleting (DELETE. This will seriously delete these items.), and it sends me to an error saying "Oh No! This shop doesn't belong to you." However, I'm still able to access the shop page (navigation drop down, still able to add items to it from inventory).

I'll check back in 30 minutes to see if removal of the gallery/shop is not just a caching delay.

[ edit ] galleries that I attempted to delete still have not cleared. I'm guessing maybe you guys are holding off the delete's for counting if we already paid for extra shops with sP?

So I have all the foods Tziety needs to eat in a gallery, along with items of my Gallery itself.

If i don't move the items to a new shop, will I lose them? (That shop has 5k items), and if I need to move them out, I don't have any place to put them because if I add them to my vault, they will mix with foods my pet has already eaten.

Also, I'm still selling my hoard, which still has a bit under 1k items... timing is not the best for me atm :/

Once the old shops and galleries are disabled, will our BIG galleries still be there to look at? if we decide not to move it

Hello! Not sure if this will be addressed later. In the old search, if the item is already in your shop then it'll say "YOUR SHOP" beside your shop name and then "Move Item" (to the inventory) under the Buy column. Hopefully this will be shown in the new shop search later as well cause it's quite useful! (:

Okay, so I've been able to create a shop, add a Orange Coda Caves Crystal, and price it. But, when I search in the new shop search, the item in my shop doesn't show up.

And, I agree with . The feature is very useful during quests.

You know, I'm bummed that after almost 8 years playing I'm finally about 10K items away from that achievement and know I can't possibly make it in time now but that's not the biggest issue for me overall. It's just an achievement I will now not be able to get.

What IS a little irksome for me is the comment in the first post how we've supposedly "been told" for "some time" that these limits were coming. I'd love to know where because I haven't seen one single post in the news in reference to it nor in the ones when pinged to the siteupdate ping.

I have over 36 THOUSAND unique items in my gallery. Under the new system, I'll get to have max. 5 galleries and one shop. That's 5000 unique items spread over 5 galleries that I'll be "allowed". That will leave me with 31+ thousand items I have to leave in the "legacy" gallery. o.O I don't WANT to get rid of those remaining items because my "thing" has always been to obtain at least one of every item on the site. And you never know when you need something for new combos, etc. ugh! I fully understand the need for a new system, but this is really going to suck for collectors like me. :(

It doesn't seem like the new shops are showing in the vault drop-down list to allow us to move items directly from the vault into the shops.

Using Quickstock in my gallery:

I removed one single full page from an old gallery, went to the new gallery quickstock page, opted to move all items into the gallery. When it finished loading, about a quarter to half of the items I was adding did not add and appeared again. So I had to reselect and finish moving them. It could not have been more than 250 items I was attempting to move, so it appears it's not registering everything in your inventory via the quickstock page at the moment. Now to continue trying to move 700+ items by hand since there's no "remove all" option from the old shops (I have wished for this so often -sobs-).

Have not had a repeat of this incident, have now moved a couple of pages worth (one page at a time).

- sorry if this has been asked already but I didn't see it. Will we be refunded the cost of making our current shops/galleries? Personally I have all ten that I am allowed so that's quite a bit of sPs spent.

So...should we technically start moving items to our new galleries now, or can we wait?

hya babe... They mentioned it about two Decembers ago, I think? In some feedback thread where people were complaining some shops were extremely laggy.

That said, there should have been some overall announcement so users could have time to actually decide if they would stop going for the achievement or not.

This is just a week notice, and... well not exactly enough time to get the hoarding achievements (thank gosh I'm done)

- so one mention two years ago in a feedback thread that only those participating in that thread would have seen is supposed to be enough of a heads' up about this then I guess. smh

But like I mentioned, I'm not half so annoyed at not being able to complete the achievement (though it IS a bit upsetting to be working on something for so long and know that it was a waste of time now - like with the Geek quests and there wasn't even any heads' up about that one being retired) as I am with having to keep over 30 thousand items in a "legacy" gallery because I won't be able to move them all into new ones. And even if I moved the max 5k items out, then I'd be stuck unable to do anything with ANY new items at all except shove them in my vault. :/

Yeah I know :( I am son the same dilemma as you are, though with way less amount of items :/

• Funding the Hoard

SO, while I have 5 at the moment, I would need... 9 galleries and 4 shops? (3 if I merge the funding/unhoarding shops)

Will that be possible? But it will suck to have like 3 galleries for minions when I only have 1 right now... :/
