I changed my major 2 times; visual arts then I moved to human science and now I'm in social work. Don't plan on moving yet.

Veterinary Science to Medicine, a tinnnnny part to me wished I stay with Veterinary Science, but I LOVE what i'm studying now. 8D 4, 5, 6+ years of studying makes you realise how important it is to study something you're really passionate about. Good luck with your studies .

I switched a few times, from biochem to aeronautical engineering to finally teaching. Its been a really hard road. I am almost done and still extremely uncertain. But since I took so long I am taking classes at two different places to get done faster. I feel totally insane.

My first try at college was in art school and I ended up quitting. When I went back (only about a year and a half behind) I got my BA in English. And not a major change, per se, but now I'm getting my Masters in library science :3

Good for you. I was a Medical Technology major but I stuck at math and chemistry. After the first year at my college, I changed to history and I've been much happier ever since. I'm graduating with honors on May 7th and I'm looking at graduate school for Russian History

I didn't officially switch majors, but I had been taking classes for biomedical engineering for my first year of college. Sad to say that my GPA didn't survive physics and vector calculus, ahaha D': so i'm back to taking classes for biochemistry, which has been a lot more manageable.

Nice! Two majors I would be awful at, haha. You must be very intelligent; good for you! (: I'm currently in community college getting my associates in criminal justice, then i'm planning to go to a university and get my bachelors in psychology. How far were you, until your switched majors?

Lol I've definitely changed my major a few times. I started off as a Music Education major (but literally only stuck with it for the first two or three weeks of my freshman year LOL) and after being undeclared for the remainder of my freshman year, I switched to Secondary Math Education. But then I decided that route was not for me either, so I took a complete turn and majored in Marketing. Now I graduate this coming May and I stuck with my major at long last xD

I didn't change my studies to anything. I stayed in general studies because I wasn't really interested in anything and partly because I also feel that since I have a disability, I will never get a good paying job/career; however, I'm thinking of going back to college in a few years because I'm considering business.

haha, i don't really think i'm all that intelligent but thank you ;u; i think it's more of that i'm good at things that are considered "smart"? like when you put stuff like history or psychology in front of me i just don't get it :P i was...maybe 20-25 credit hours in, if not 30. so like 2 semesters because literally every class i took except 2 was for engineering. it was too much, really. so it's the end of freshman year, aha.

thank you for responding guys these are really nice to read :0

I'm still trying to figure out my major. I want to do forensic pathology but I don't think my math skills are good enough to get very far. Currently I'm in general studies and am leaning towards an art degree.

Started college as a political science major with a minor in history, then tacked on journalism as a double major. Hated both majors tremendously. Switched my journalism major to English, then in my senior year I switched my Polisci major to a minor, and my history minor to a major. Now I'm graduating and I couldn't be happier that I ended up with English/history as my majors.

visual communication > art history > liberal studies! i changed from viscom to art history because i realized that i HATE art classes, and then switched from art history to liberal studies this semester because i think it will allow me to be more well-rounded! i'm planning on still taking a few art history courses, but also looking into some business stuff and media production.

I started as an art major and then switched to English because I didn't want to take figure drawing. I hate drawing people, realistically at least. But then they took out the figure drawing requirement so I switched back. Got my Bachelor's of Art focusing in drawing and graphic design. Not using it at all though, lol. Wish I had taken environmental science instead. But a part of me also wishes that I had never gone to college at all. I'm in debt for student loans and working a job that I could have gotten straight out of high school and still made decent money.

I started school this fall as a secondary education/biology major and now I'm ending the year as a secondary ed/history major. I might end up changing again to political science, but only time will tell.

I had a whirlwind of a first year. I had originally applied for the English department because my family refused to let me take psychology. When school began, I decided to take a stand for myself and enrolled myself in two psychology courses since I was expected to pay for my own education. I thought to myself, "If I'm paying for my own education, how could they have a say in what I want to do with my life?" Turns out, despite my fascination for the major, I have interest whatsoever in the biological functions of the brain. Despite my mediocre grade of C- for arguably the easiest course in al of Criminology, that was the major I decided on. But not before taking my fair share of electives. I'm pretty sure I finished all my requirements long before I could actually declare my major.
