Masquerade is coming up shortly, and we really enjoyed working on your suggestions for Vesnali last year (I'll likely bring a Vesnali suggestions thread back again soon) so we'd like to see what you have in mind for Masquerade!

Masquerade is largely a clothing holiday, but we would like to make it a little more diverse and at least have some of the clothing items be represented by some delicious TC fodder ;)

So what's been missing from your lives? Masquerade is largely steampunk/Victorian themed, although we've been known to reach a little in other directions. Let us know the plushies/beanbags/stickers/toys and foods/drinks for the Lounge or even just general themes that you're after - please post them! We'll see if we can work them into the site :)

Artists are going to hate me, but steamworks pets plushie/beanbags. We have the Neela and maybe a couple others but...that's it. Where's my Kanis at? I want to sit on a Steamworks Rreign beanbag!

Weapons. Preferably high tier ones from tough challengers c;

I guess a little more variety when it comes to colors and styles? I know you have to have a theme, but some more options for Female Avatars that aren't necessarily giant poofy dresses and long hair styles.

You know what I want :P

Steampunk dinosaurs as minions, wears (please dino companions!!) and plushies :D Dinosaurs with hats and the monocles plushies A background of a steampunk Jurassic environment.

This is a pretty big ask, but I'd love to see some stuff referencing or close to the content of Mortal Engines. It's a bit more grimy and post-apocalyptic than we're used to with Masquerade, but it's still pretty steampunk.

Failing that, I'd at least like to see a gas pistol, or at least more gas-powered items, a more diverse range of flying machines, and some engine parts that aren't mostly cogs.

I think the post apocalyptic steampunk route would be really cool and well received, as I know a lot of people have made fallout 4 pets and just in general post apocalyptic pets I also think an art nouveau steampunk mesh would be cool, I'm pretty sure this is already a thing but I can't find any great examples, but things like a stained glass background, perhaps with a coordinating clock or clog behind the head, more art nouveu esque clothes/dresses, etc I know you guys incorporated this into a previous year with the wigs but I'd personally love to see it a little more fleshed out. :)

I also think headpieces would be cool, like:

Shoulder armor! And um, more shoes where the toes are pointy and curl up.

Subeta doesn't have many fountain items, and I'd like to see some of that for masquerade.

Masquerade-themed foreground items too.

A Howl's Moving Castle reference? The castle from the movie is wonderfully Steampunk. There's a CW background of the castle but that's out of reach for many users. Maybe a minion that looks like a house on legs?

As for food, I don't think Subeta has any gumbo items? Or cajun food. I also don't see any hurricane drink items.

More top hats. Some with flowers, some with feathers, others plain.

Fancy alcohol-free drinks based off NPCs. Or endorsed/made by or for them.

Pretzel sticks with various dips.

I just want a steampunk companion to chill next to my avatar.

I'll second the suggestions about some loose/open aviator jackets, and the one about machine parts and tools. I love the jackets we have, but I can't really layer them over anything. And I have a mechanic pet that would love some TC fodder.

I would love love love a chandelier background.

Gotta second the fancy antique cars, have a vested interest in those.

Would love to see more weapons, swords, daggers, cane hidden dagger/swords, small garter pistols, muskets, steampunk-theme bows.

Hats with accessories, top hats with goggles, top hats with flowers.

Vintage keys (possible room backgrounds).

Teacups, teasets.

Tools, machine parts.

I'm seconding the Moving Castle minion because I kind of love Howl's Moving Castle, even if the movie isn't accurate to the book and I wasn't the biggest fan of the character design.

Hawk, eagles, ravens, owl minions. Jetpack dog Treasure Planet and Atlantis are kind of steampunky. Maybe non mechanical minions based on the monsters in those like the deep sea monsters, or the little pink goo blob (Morph).

Oceans can be steampunk right? Also the pet masks that were released last year are pretty cool. More of those including the Archan maybe.

More solid, usable ties that don't just fit with one shirt and come in more colors. More, usable collars that also don't just fit with one shirt. Sleeves + sleeveless button ups; both short and long sleeves. Wearable vintage music players (just noticed Lantern suggested gramophones, oops)

EDIT: TC fodder-wearable duo ideas: Vintage/steampunk lamps and light fixtures that are skirts (pleased to be doing the skirt/petticoats I suggested). Coffee maker can be collars. Mixer as vests. Lantern's idea of antique and vintage phones can be shirts. Zeppelin's and planes can be sleeves.

Vintage/antique gramophones and telephones that aren't steampunk-y?
