Now that the term is over, it's time for some relaxing! The Great Hall is full of breakfast and lunch goodies, ready for grabbing as the students either hang out, discuss their chances of winning the House Cup, or take a break from packing their belongings to go home for the holiday.

Some serious rest and relaxation is in order!

I missed some lessons rats. I still want to do the constellation. :P

Aderyn was both excited and sad that the term was over. It had been a wonderful experience and she'd made lots of new friends, but she was going to miss school so much while she was on break! Taking a look around the great hall as she walked into it for the last time that term, she headed to a table and settled down, waiting to see whether any of her friends would come down for one last celebration.

Rox was very sad to see the term coming to an end. Even though she was excited to go home, she was already hoping for the next term to start again. She walked into the great hall, unsure what to do in those last hours before heading home. All her things were already packed and ready to go home with her.

Eloise was pretty depressed that the term had ended - she didn't know what to do with herself. The anxiety of starting in the middle of second term had yet to subside. She looked around the hall and listened to the murmuring excitement of the other students.

Sighing, she resolved to eating her troubles away (although how hard could that be with all the delicious treats laid out before her!)

Millie was sad about the term ending but excited to leave for her holiday in Berlin. She had finished packing and was waiting for her parents to come pick her up and walked into the Great Hall to get a drink and a snack before leaving.

Ernessa paced anxiously up and down the Great Hall, she hadn't heard from her father recently and wasn't sure if she was expected at home. Sighing loudly she decided to find something to eat to pass the time. She spotted Aderyn () at a table and headed over. 'Hey, what are you doing over break?' she asked while reaching for a chicken drumstick.

Even better yet, she was going to be able to see her little sister! Harper had seriously considered staying at the castle over the holiday, but decided that even though she'd get a decidedly better sleep here, she really missed her family.

Harper skipped over to the Ravenclaw table and loaded her plate with bacon and a roll. She looked around to see if she could spot her friend , but didn't see her anywhere yet.

Aderyn smiled up at Ernessa as the girl joined her at the table, taking a sip of pumpkin juice.

"Hey there! I've got a trip planned with my dad - we're going to the Isle of Skye to study medicinal plants and crystals up close and personal. Mum said she'd come along, but I'm not holding out much hope. How about you?"

As the great hall began to get more crowded, Aderyn waved to some familiar faces, gesturing to the empty seats around the table surrounding her and Ernessa.

It had been a long week and specially a long night with room celebrations about the end of term. Muttering to herself something about coffee and what sounded like grumbles Gaia spotted Harper () looking around and walked towards her grinning "I feel like I haven't seen you in ages! How did you do in the end of term? Also I need coffee. Are you packed? I think we should find a spot on the table I am starving." Gaia stopped and giggled "sorry I think I should ask one question at a time, but seriously I need coffee or whatever you say won't make sense to me!" Gaia beamed at her friend and spotted the coffee and mugs on the Ravenclaw table. "I am so tired I didn't even charmed my hair. I feel weird." Gaia waved at Aderyn ().

Magnus entered the hall looking a lot better than he had at the last Care of Magical creatures club meeting where he had studied too much and arrived completely out of it. He wore a big grin and looked very well rested. He swaggered over to the Ravenclaw table. "'Llo Aderyn, Gaia," he said with a grin flashing almost all his teeth. "'Ow you lovely ladies doin? Wouldst it be scandalous if I sat 'ere for a mo to chat with ya?" He looked around for his other friends to see if anyone else was about.

What are your plans for the break?" gaia grinned at her friend and turned her attention to a doughnut plate close to her coffee and grabbed a glazed one.

"Ta," he said, smiling brightly and piled his plate with eggs, sausage, bacon, baked beans, kippers, and a few rolls. Sitting down and taking a large drink of orange juice he said, "Yeah I got about 16 hours of sleep. When I got to the Gryffindor common room someone gave me a flask of pumpkin juice. I drank it and then your vial. Apparently, they were both sleeping draughts so I got double dosed. I was quite agreeable though," he said with a chuckle. "I shan't over study like that again. Dad 'as to work some o' it. 'E's an Unspeakable at the Ministry. Mum said somethin' about takin' me to a Qudditch game with her old team and a mini tour o' 'er home town in Wales. And visit me new Grandparents. She wants to take me to a dragon range too. Then when Dad's free, I think we are all gonna hop over to Conway Castle an' Snowdonia as Dad'll meet us in Wales. You?"

Gaia was impressed that was a packed schedule Magnus () had. "That sounds like a lot of fun! I am going to help dad build a new owl barn. We need more room and protection for the owls to be comfortable. I also need to replenish my Potions ingredients. I go get some of the plants from the forest by the barn. I am not sure what else after that."

Aderyn smiled and waved at Gaia and Magnus as her friends joined them at the table.

"Hey guys! Glad exams are over?"

"Mum's folks live in Wales see. We'll be staying with them so they can get to know me till dad is ready to join us. Probly only about 2 weeks with dad. Visiting the castle and what 'ave you before we go back 'ome. But there's a Welsh dragon range not too far from me grandparents. They live in the deep country. Mum says she used to see 'em flying about at dusk when she was a kid. She reckons I'll be spoilt rotten but I admit, I'm nervous about meetin' em." He listened at Gaia's plans, "that sounds amazing. And you Aderyn? What's your plans? I'm dead chuffed exams are over. I think I got a bit manic in the end. "

Aderyn put down her glass of pumpkin juice and grinned at Magnus.

"You'll be in my neck of the woods! I live in a small town in Wales, northeast of Cardiff. I'm spending part of the summer in Scotland, though, with my dad."

"Too bad I couldn't nip round and visit ya," he said. "Know what you're doing in Scotland then?"

Eloise waved back at Aderyn, mouth still full of pumpkin pasties.

"I wish I was doing some that cool this summer...my family is headed to Iceland to explore caves - I don't fancy spending my summer in such a cold place"

Aderyn nodded.

"Dad and I are going to study medicinal plants and healing crystals up close and personal on the Isle of Skye. We won't be gone all summer, though! Send me an owl when you're around and if we're back, we can always hang out!"

She turned and smiled at Eloise.

"I bet the caves will be really cool, though! Mum's been to Iceland and she said the rocks there look like big columns. I think she said the muggles called the formations columnar basalt?"
