I feel like this game needs help love. I don't think it's been touched for years. It needs new images and upgraded images. The coins you win (Black Coin, Blue Coin, Coin, Pink Coin and Special Coin), if you win them all from Slots, apart from the Slots Coin, are worthless as they don't do anything, the Slots Spork is relatively useless in the battle dome, and the other prizes are so old that I think people are sorta really done with them.

What I'd love to see...

I'd love to see this become an integrated part of Centropolis! So many major, if not all major, cities have casinos! Why not create one in Centropolis and add both the card and slot games (along with new games - see bottom of this post) there?!? :D

In the thumbnail below (click for bigger resolution) are 3 buildings currently unused in Centropolis and are quite elegant. I'd feel as though any of the three could make an excellent location for the Centropolis Casino:

It'd also be neat that, when you enter the casino, you're taken first to a lobby where you can see the scratchcard window and are given the option to either buy a card or proceed into the casino. Once you enter, there's a new "map" (similar to the land ones) but you see before you Table games on one side, Slots in the middle and Chance Wheels/Bingo on the other side. Click on an area to be taken to a list of games for that area (with the faded background of the area behind the list of games to make it more interesting)..

suggested putting the scratchcards in there and, while they're chance, I'm on the fence about it, but then again, you could maybe have a booth by the front door...Seeing as they are gambling, I would love to see the odds upped a lot. More often than not I get losing cards XS

How about a cute Ruffie pup called Gambles? She'd be a child of, or related to, Raffles, in some way, but she decided to help out in the Casino. She'd have a gold, diamond and pearl collar, be black and violet in colour (aka Twilight), have some glitter all over and be super, super elegant yet playful at the same time.

Things wouldn't be right without a...Gambling Bug! I was thinking it could have a look kind of like the cute Ladyfire but take on a more casino like flair. Description could be - Looks like you really DID catch the gambling bug!

I'd love to see some more casino games on Subeta! Yes, I know it's gambling, but it's virtual money and it's kinda fun lol

The best thing is that there's really no "stealing" of games cuz if there was, the entire world's casinos would be shut down by now because ALL the casinos play these games! Most games wouldn't be bet on anyway. If you won, you'd win a set amount like you would in other games. It's just the fun of playing the games. Some would be pay to play, which would add to the jackpot total (Bingo, Roulette, slots and chance wheels, for example), but for most games there wouldn't be any real "betting" going on. You'd make bets with chips, but you wouldn't be betting actual sP.

I think there is a plan to revamp the whole game so it could be nice to add some items instead of the food..

I would really like a game revamp, and/or a widening of the item pool. I'd love to see some gambling-related items appear.

How about:

Cup Of Tokens (toy, possibly also a beanbag) Slot Token (minion, maybe with teeth instead of that serrated token edge and a description something like...if you're not careful, mishandling tokens could result in harm) Three Lemons (like a double cherry, but three lemons on a stem, a food item and also a play on the fact that the only time you see three lemons together are on a slot machine)

I'm pretty sure everybody knows slots needs a revamp, and I'd honestly like this to not be so burdensome with the page loading over and over again. I dread every time Drills tells me to play slots, and it's not that I have to wait to earn a certain amount, it's the clicking, then the page loading, then further clicking, and then going and dumping all the junk you've gotten from your inventory, then going back and clicking some more. The only reason I do it is to rack up the slots items for recycling.

More prizes would be nice, but I feel like slots needs a revamp from the ground up. I'd also prefer it if the jackpot could climb over a couple hundred thousand. Having the jackpot at 1mil or higher would make me play it more rather than what it goes up to now: just extra pennies in my pocket. There's so much potential for this game if it was transferred over to flash, especially with how well the Subeta team has done with all the previous games they've created over the years.

I really enjoy the general concept of what you've put out there! Kind of make a central place for the gamble styled games and vary their prizes is a very nice idea!

I wish the Slots game would more closely resemble a real slots machine where you have the 3 rows across, 5 columns down and you can choose how many lines and what to bet. It would certainly make the game more interesting! I loathe when Major Drills asks me to play Slots or Leviathan Harpooning. cringe

question, how much gambling is allowed on a PG-13 website?

Like, european laws have changed over the past few years, so old stuff is probably grandfathered, but what about new stuff? Like, pokemon games were changed worldwide to remove gambling.

does it apply to the website since it is based in the united states? pokemon is marketed independently in each country/region (didn't really notice or know of the change... but isn't buying a pokeball that doesn't work 100% of the time still gambling? I hated the slots anyway). I'm not sure how the laws work.

Even if Pokemon is independently marketed in all regions, the game corner was removed in all of them. Sucks, because I loved the Slots. I'm really curious to see how it works with the recent european laws, especially concerning websites, since there is no official rating agency.

When I'm talking gambling, I'm talking using fictional currency to get a uncertain outcome. :)

How far can Subeta go?

it makes the games consistent, I wouldn't think they'd want all versions except europe to have a feature. I hated the slots. it's not like subeta has different versions for different regions though, I'm not sure if the laws would apply to it or not.

you use fictional currency to get a pokeball, and you get an uncertain outcome of catching your pokemon or not. maybe that's a step too removed removed so it doesn't count. idk, anti-gambling laws seem dumb to me in general.

[edit] I don't think subeta should pull up a casino by any means though. I'd like it to have its current games in working order and the older ones like slots made to be a part of at least last century.

The gambling laws are there to not making gambling more alluring to people under 18. But hey, it's how Europe works, I don't really understand either, but I'd rather make sure that Subeta's safe.

I also am not sure if I want stuff like blackjack and roulette here, anyway. We have our own ways of gambling, like Mystery Box and Vending.

crane machine. you can find them at many grocery stores. not a ball, but if you let your imagination open up a bit, the claw is ball shaped and it "catches" the stuffed animals below. it's actually regulated in the united states (not heavily enough, some of those machines are total scams) it's a gamble, you pay for uncertain odds, but that's part of the appeal.

I know why the laws are there, I just don't think they work very well. If the laws could cause europe to block subeta or something, I'd hope subeta would figure out a way to change the gambling features so it wouldn't be blocked. there are many many european users from what I can tell here. It just seems like rng is getting banned, and without rng things are just boring.

I take it they only mean gambling in the traditional sense, betting money on something to gain more money? if we have this problem, neopets also has this problem with poogle races and food club (I think? assuming these features still work which isn't a safe assumption, oh and the stock market is also a gambling element)

I don't know, that quote makes it vague, since this game is 13+ it conflicts with the 18+ it states, but it mentions video games and then refers to games. You could always purchase a gambling game from a different country, it would get around the law. I don't know if they would really block a website with a few very minor gambling elements, but it's possible.

I don't know if they added anything recently. they've added things that have rng involved like new capsules you actually pay real money for. that's more of a gamble than slots with neopoints in my opinion. I kinda think sites add the gambling games in in their youth because they're fairly easy to implement, then later on they can avoid doing things by adding more subtle gambling in.

ehh I would think they would ban a site over trying to fine a site that isn't based in their own country. if that's the case, I'm making my own country and "fining" every website because I'm a tyrant with very oppressive laws.
