What do you guys think? I like how I barely registered that it had had a revamp, but once I see them side by side it's quite obvious that it was revamped.

I'm really loving the more prominent spots! The fins are especially gorgeous, too.

I think it looks great! They didn't change too much about it fundamentally, but it brought the art up to the current standards.

I couldn't place what exactly was different, besides the speckles, but I fell in love with them on the news post and now I feel like I need another Torrent ._. Not a pet I would have ever expected to own, but they're so lovely ;-;

This is an amazing revamp! Like the Legeica revamp, the Torrent maintains the familiar look of the species with subtle changes needed to keep it up to date with newer pet art. I hope we'll continue to see more of these nudgeTeleninenudge often.

The old Torrent definitely needed this touch-up. Side-by-side, the old look is very plastic-y looking.

I really like the new updated dorsal fin, but I miss the slightly more prominent dolphin curve to the nose and I personally prefer the older, more muted coloration. But the revamp itself is quite nice, personal preferences aside. c:

I do appreciate the small touch ups over the massive overhauls where they bring in a mutant cousin of the original pet to replace the old one, and the old one gets shipped off to the farm up north.

yes, those are adorable. I like the Hipposaru, Otter, Terracoon, Torrey, Velosotor, Donadak and most of all the Turdle.

Oh man seeing them side-to-side, what an improvement!

The revamp is, really, stunning. There's movement, depth, fluidity and all around more life into this pet now more than before. I can actually picture it swimming, or just floating in one place, in the ocean somewhere, instead of a toy in a bathtub XD The redone colours are fabulous, too! My thoughts on the colours:

I love the richness of the cherry Torrent, the beauty of the Aqua, the serenity of the Dusk, the koi-like look of the Arid, the goldfish-ness of the Common, Sun and Gold, the tranquility of the Lilac and Twilight, the seaweed look of the Field, the Beachyness of the Cream and Marsh and the striking elegance of the Nuclear and Silver XD

I love this revamp! I especially love the way the fins were colored, and how there appears to be some color to the dorsal fin's shadow, that really adds to the believability of the transparent fin. The updated shading gives a lot more depth, the spots and markings look much more believable, and I appreciate that the pet design wasn't changed very much at all, as I've always loved the torrent. Seriously fantastic revamp! I've been trying to decide on if I need one of these ever since I saw them come out, haha, there are just too many gorgeous colorfills these days..
