So, I noticed while brushing my teeth the other night that I have chipped one of my front teeth, most likely due to my teeth grinding/clenching issue at night (bruxism). I regularly have jaw pain and tend to bite my tongue in my sleep more often than not. I've read that a mouth guard worn at night could help prevent further damage, but I would not know if there is a particular brand that is often highly recommend. I'm also a little afraid of the mouth guard slipping out of place and somehow choking me in my sleep (I'm a natural klutz while awake; lord knows what I do to myself in my sleep). xD

If anyone out there with a teeth grinding problem can give me some advice or recommendations, please ping me!

Check your local pharmacy. My dentist suggested getting a mid-range one. Don't go super expensive, but also don't get the cheapest one either. Get one that you can soften in boiling water to mold it to your mouth. That will help it stay in place.

Anything from Shock Doctor, it's the only brand my orthodontist recommends. Has a dentist ever recommended surgery for your jaw?
