I don't workout at all, but I`m somewhat obsessed about food, so I end up knowing some things that really work:
I hope those tips might help someone!

I stay healthy by eating a vegan style foods (which aren't that bad). I babysit my niece and nephew and I let them go out and play so we usually play tag which makes me at least jog a bit. I also play DDR, Just Dance and just dance around while cleaning the house. I take showers every day to improve the health of my skin and hair. I take a vitamin every day to make me feel better and I watch my calories. I'm losing all this unwanted weight so I'm pretty happy.
I usually just watch my portion sizes, try to eat a variety of foods from each food group and fruit/veggies in all colors of the rainbow, drink lots of water and herbal tea, and take a daily vitamin C supplement to boost immunity. <3
I don't really watch what I eat. I don't eat entirely unhealthy or anything, but I just don't really care about what I eat. I suppose moderation is what I go by regarding food.
However, I'm quite active for my job and usually walk about 2+ hours a day, plus wrestling dogs should they decide to be nuts, or even jog if someone's decided to eat something or take off (which thankfully rarely happens).
I don't eat out anymore (at least not much, since finding restaurants that have legitimately gluten free options and not things that are "gluten friendly" and not celiac safe is really hard), and I tend to pre-plan my meals. I have dietary restrictions due to an autoimmune disease, so I have to be super careful anyway, and I don't eat much in the way of processed foods, primarily because wheat and wheat byproducts are really common as preservatives, binding agents, and thickeners. Cooking for yourself is a really good way to eat better. You can be more mindful of your portions AND what goes into what you're making.
I really should exercise more, but I just don't really have the time.
" Okay, so you’ve made some bad decisions. You’ve hurt people. You’ve hurt yourself. You’ve stumbled through life from one self-inflicted disaster to the next without anything even approaching a plan. To which I say: welcome aboard. Maybe you’re not good... but you’re sure as hell good enough. "
I have a gym membership and I've been trying to go at least 3 or 4 times a week, preferably every day, but my depression is much worse in the winter because of seasonal affective disorder, so I haven't been going as often as I should. And because I haven't been going as much, the depression is worse. I haven't been eating as well as I should either because of the same reason. I'd like to lose about 50-100lbs. but I don't know if it's ever going to happen.
I'm a nutrition and dietetics major so eating healthy is my life :)
I try to eat plenty of fruit and veggies and have treats like chocolate or deserts in moderation. Since I get the bus to uni (I used to walk but our house for this next year is a lot further away) if I'm not too tired I often get off a couple of stops early and walk home from there. It's not comparable to the amount of walking I did last year but it's something. If I get some money for Christmas I'd like to buy some gym gear/some proper trainers and make an effort to join the uni gym next term. I have a couple of friends who go quite often which is brilliant as there's no way I'd be brave enough to go on my own at first!
I don't pay that much attention to staying healthy, because it's always come naturally to me... My body usually lets me know when it needs something, be it exercise or food or fresh air. :p
I do research on what I put into my mouth on a daily basis. Everything in moderation, except sugar because I'm addicted to sugar and consume it wayyyy too much. X___X I try to eat lots of veggies and fruit when I can afford it. I'm cutting down on meat, too, and replacing it with beans and green veggies. I drink tea all the time, but not really for the health effects.
I do yoga, mostly in the spring/summer (I don't know why it doesn't feel necessary in the winter). Nature is the cure for everything that ails me mentally and physically, I love walking in the middle of the woods for hours and hours.
I also don't use much makeup, recently gave up face wash products too, and I only use organic nettle shampoo for my hair.
I've recently gotten down to a healthy BMI through calorie counting and exercise. All of my conditions are much improved (asthma, IIH, depression, anxiety) some completely gone (PCOS, GERD).
I do cardio for about 3 hours a week as straight exercise, get about 6000 steps a day on average, and do light strength training. I'm still losing weight so there's not a lot of motivation to go nuts with the strength training since one can't really effectively build muscle at a large deficit.
I'm not worrying about eating clean, I probably will never be convinced it matters enough. I'm not worrying about macros until I get to my goal weight because I don't think the added stress will be worth it when I'm just trying to stay sane on 1200 calories.

I log every calorie I consume through MyFitnessPal. I will admit to not always having the best diet, but even on days where I kind of slack off, I am sure to watch my portion sizes so I don't over consume. I've lost weight doing this alone and from substituting some unhealthy options for healthier ones (snacking on carrots and celery with hot sauce instead of chips, getting a small salad or broccoli as a side instead of fries, etc.)
...
Tons of water, daily cardio and CICO are my means of losing weight/getting in shape. I plan on weight training once I reach my weight goal, which is fast approaching! As Metaphor mentioned, My Fitness Pal is a great tool for keeping track of calories and managing your TDEE. I'd suggest it to anyone!
I am planning to change the way I eat because I've made the terrible mistake to weight lift BEFORE losing weight and now I'm basically a fat but strong person with amazing stamina.
(It's creepy) I already eat very well, but I'll see if this new way works better.
I'm going vegan, and HOO BOY HOWDY let me tell you, does it make me feel better. I didn't have a very good diet before, and even when I was trying to eat better I still wasn't really paying attention to what I was REALLY eating, you know? Now eating meat and dairy makes my stomach feel upset, but I'm actually just fine with that because when I'm not eating those things, I cook for myself a LOT more (which is so much fun!) and I feel so much better. I don't have stomach problems anymore, I don't have headaches, I have more energy, I'm even finding my depression a little easier to manage... Plus I don't approve of factory farming methods and I'm not supporting the incredible damage that major animal agriculture does to the environment, so there's that! But even if going vegan isn't for you, my advice is cook for yourself as much as you can and try reducing your meat and dairy intake at least a little bit in favor of fresh vegetables, fruits and grains and see what happens. :)
Right now I'm starting to focus on trying to go jogging at least three days a week (I just jog up and down my road, with my Labrador) and keeping closer track of how many calories a day I'm getting, as well as some important nutrients like iron and protein, etc... I haven't really lost much weight, and I'm not experiencing side effects of any caloric or nutrient deficiencies, but you always want to make sure you're getting enough to eat and a good variety when you start any new diet. :P I also gotta stop drinking so much soda, which is my solitary remaining vice. 😓
Woo! Other vegan. We gotta swap recipes sometime! I'm trying to build up a nice fat recipe book. 😁
I'm a vegetarian. I don't eat eggs, but I eat cheese. I also exercise EVERYDAY unless I'm in pain from overdoing it, but because I have no car I usually have to exercise those days too.
I've been a vegetarian my whole life and a vegan for a large chunk of it.

I keep myself healthy mentally by not weighing myself. I've been heavy all my life and been on diets since the age of 14. Some included severely cutting my calories. My lowest was 400 calories. If the rest of the world is going to hate me and treat me inhuman, I might as well learn to love myself even if I stay the same.
I try to make healthy choices. I love most vegetables and have been challenging myself to learn to love the ones I don't. I've learned to love brussel sprouts. Turns I love them cooked from fresh with onions and garlic. I also only eat egg whites. I do slip up sometimes though. I would also like to start walking again.
I've found that a great way to stay healthy is to rent an apartment on the fourth or fifth floor, with no elevator... Everytime you go anywhere, it's excercise... And if you buy groceries, or go shopping, or need to bring anything into your house, that's like running stairs while carrying weights... :O
Plus, having one laundry day every two weeks guarantees that you get a pretty heavy workout when that day comes... Especially if the laundry room is in the basement, and you have to hang your laundry in the attic!
But also, I make a point of eating slowly... If you eat slowly, you notice that you're full ealier, so you're not tempted to overeat. And I drink about two glasses of water over the course of a typical meal, so there's that...

I follow a vegetarian diet (healthy and ethical!) in which I eat lots of fruit, vegetables, beans, nuts, grains, and so on, and have committed myself to a daily workout programme.
As far as eating healthy goes, I think it's mostly just about portion size and putting effort into what you do choose to eat. I still eat things like chocolate and fries and candy, I am just careful about how often I eat those kinds of foods and how much I eat of them. As for the rest of my diet, I have come to learn that healthy doesn't have to mean bland or gross. I think the meals I eat now are so much more delicious than what I used to eat before I cared about my health. There are so many delicious healthy foods out there if you care to look for them!
And for working out, I found a programme that was possible to do in and around my home, as I travel around too much to really commit to a gym membership. Plus I try to do things like walk to and from university and work, just so that I am getting extra bits of exercise into my day.
