I agree with all the comments mentioning always having a bottle of water nearby! :) I used to eat a lot, and then I realized that half of the time it was not hunger what I was feeling, but thirst! I also try to go to the gym, have good books nearby... keep myself busy, as I tend to eat when I am bored or stressed. And, my phone has a nice app that encourages me to walk for at least 1h a day. If I do not do it a message pops up encouraging me to go for a walk or something xD I have a Samsung Galazy Note 4 and the app is S Health... for me it really works because I need motivation or I become a couch potato! :P

I've been slipping this winter because I've been stressed out and feeling depressed plus staying inside more (and getting less hours at work) so I've gained a few pounds. I had been losing weight by counting calories (not counting down to an exact number but mentally keeping track of approximately how many calories I've had). I had been walking to work as well as running around for eight hours at work so I had been doing pretty well.

I need to get back on track. :( I'm looking forward to being at a healthy weight. I still have ~25 pounds to go before I'm no longer obese but that shouldn't take long once I get moving more and eating better. :) I need to cut down on my stress as well because when I'm stressed and depressed I consume way too many calories. I've been cutting down on caffeine because that makes me even more anxious.

edit: One thing I really struggle with is drinking water. I drink diet pop all the time because I enjoy it and I usually don't like water. I might buy a Brita water bottle so I can always have filtered water with me since tap water tastes gross and I only drink it when I'm really thirsty.

I will love you forever if you trade me:

I'm super unhealthy but I'm drinking more water and walking a bit more. My next step is stop with the sugar.
