You could opt out for organ harvesting. YES that was temporary and you closed up again, but people didn't like it and that was implemented.

The shield doesn't block enough.

Now a random button has been implemented where you can get hit no matter what.

This is NOT fair and to make it fair for everyone, there SHOULD be an opt out feature. I don't care if only 10 people use it, the fact of the matter is that it should be fair and fun for all users, not just most. I loathe getting hit. It's the one feature on Subeta I loathe. There are others that feel as well that there should just be an opt out option. They've spoken to me about it and have mentioned it elsewhere, too. Can't this whole thing be fair for all users? Please? Where's the fairness in this if someone doesn't want to get hit, the shield doesn't work 100%, and now there's a stupid random button...please just make a feature to let those few users that want to opt out opt out!

Opting out of organ harvesting is not even in the same universe as snowballs. Organ harvesting was/is? gory and could trigger people. Snowballs more than likely won't.

I still don't find this necessary and probably never will.

I think an opt-out for random snowballing is fair.

I'm not sure about targetted snowballs though. It's like being TP'd at Morostide.. is there an opt out for that?

Organ Harvesting was pretty much borderline on the PG-13 rating of the site, and was pretty gruesome.

The snowballs are nowhere near the line of PG-13 material. It sucks, there are things I don't like, but sometimes, you don't get to choose what you get or not.

If you don't want to be hit, don't make a big deal of snowballs. Right now, yelling I HATE SNOWBALLS PLEASE DON'T SNOWBALL ME and writing it in red Times New Roman size 72 is the best way to be hit by multiple trolling snowballs.

Nope, you cannot opt out of being egg'd or tp'd in Morostide.

I think it's fair if you completely opt out of getting snowballed that means you aren't allowed to throw them either. No achievements for basically invincibility.

Unless you were bullied as a kid and were attacked by snowballs. I can see that triggering someone. Though I don't think the site should filter everything that is a possible trigger for more sensitive users.

To me in comes down to: People wanna play dress up and don't want to deal with obstacles while playing dress up. It doesn't hurt anyone if they can opt out of something that changes their HA so they can keep playing dress up.

If it's because they cover your avatar then take a screenshot of it beforehand and save it to an image hosting site. Stick it to the right of your forum post. Problem solved.

Also going to agree organ harvesting is no where near the same as the snowballs.

Yeah no. This is just ridiculous. Don't like being snowballed? Then don't make a fuss about it. Raising a stink about it only makes you a bigger target. Besides, it's not like they are permanent.

Oh my god okay as for snowballs being a 'trigger', I'm sorry but no. Human organs and blood can easily 'trigger' people, but frozen balls of water? Lmao no nice try.

Okay, can I opt out of being hexed during Morostide?

I mean, it does change my avatar, and stop my ability to play dress-up. Surely I should be able to never get hexed, instead of the 95% chance of not being hexed if I used the monocle.

Are you able to? No. Would I care if they let you be able to opt out? No. I really couldn't care less how people wanna dress up.

It is probably a more viable phobia than you're giving it credit for. Growing up in a place that got a lot of snow, I would understand if someone didn't like snowballs because they were bullied as a kid and targeted by a lot of snowballs or even iceballs.

You can't freaking stop random snowballs with this new stupid random button. You can't. This is NOT fair. Making the 1 or so percent of players to have to put up with this is not fair. I don't see why people aren't able to see that equality and fairness are all part of the Community Guidelines. Not letting this option happen does NOT make it fair for all players! Be it targetted snowballs OR random button snowballs, opting out is opting out and should be allowed. People pay a lot of money for CWs and other wearables. Why should those people that don't like to have snowballs (the more they're thrown and stick, the more permanent they become) at all be forced to go through this?

This, I'm sure, would more than include fairness of letting people not partake in something they don't enjoy.

If there isn't going to be an opt out then I really would hope that the random user option would only pull from those who use it. Yeah, there would be an issue for the first user but after that there shouldn't be.

Why not put the on permanent sale at the Avalanche Emporium, or a feature to pay sP to "clean" your HA from snowballs? For a price like, idk, 5k?

I agree with Luck, If you want this feature then its only fair that you opt out for the entire snowball related feature. You opt to not be hit, then you don't get to throw them either, and I think this should go for any event that you decide to opt out of.

And you cannot stop hexes and you absolutely could not stop these creepy as hell random events that drained your color away (I still think this is the creepiest thing Subeta did in 11 years), and until like, this year, you couldn't really control how ugly your avatar would become in Pandemic

There will always be things that will mess with your human avatar, because it's such a prominent part of the site, so staff try to integrate human avatars in events, by having stuff happen to them.

Yes, people like to dress up their avatars, but in most events, there will be things messing up with them.

You cannot control everything.

I support an opt-out option so long as you can't throw them either if you opt out, as was suggested above. I wouldn't opt out because i just don't really care if i get hit, but i don't want to hit someone if it's going to upset them. However, i am using (and will continue to use) the random option for throwing them, because i have a damn lot of snowballs to throw for that achievement now and no one i actively want to target with thousands of snowballs. XD That said, i am sincerely sorry in advance if any of my snowballs hit anyone who is bothered by them...which is why i think there should be an opt-out feature, so that i don't have to be sorry for that. :P

I realize Subeta is its own thing, but sometimes I wish it could imitate real life a little more. I'm literally so hot and sexy that snowballs evaporate when they get too close to me. I demand the same happen with my HA.

tbh now I want a random event that just drowns your HA in like 10 random snowballs
