Well, I was struck with a brilliant idea about having a new colour released on April Fools day, as a legit colour or a hoax (the choice is really up to the staff.)

If you don't want to be spoiled by the April Fools Colour, please stop reading beyond this point. But since you've already clicked on this topic, I doubt you'll be bothered by spoilers. Just figured it would be nice to warn c:

Basically, the new colour is "Food". Different foods for different pets that would suit them, and it doesn't have to be all the pets, but maybe just the ones that would be most suitable. Afterwards, the staff has three (possibly more) options on what to do with them: just turn the pets back to normal, make them an exclusive zapper colour, or have them be an official colour (either obtainable all year or just on April Fools.) Here are some pets that I thought would be funny to do: Bovyne (hamburger) Feli (cat food) Lain (roast quail) Aeanoid (salad, or smoothie) Sheeta (lamb chops) Ruffie (dog food) Torrent (fish and chips)

Just an idea ;u; I don't know if this might be too untasteful, but judging on some of the darker items on this site, maybe it's okay for an April Fools day joke?

I know Scribble was an April Fools joke originally, so there's precedent!

I definitely think food would be a great theme. XD Even if it's slightly morbid. That said, we do have one pet like that on site: the GY Mallarchy! Which always makes me laugh.

I think this is a magnificent idea! Really cute.

If actually good ideas can be made for things like the Donadak, Ghostly, Harvester, Cadogre or Endeavor, sure, why not. A color has to fit all of the pets, not just a select couple.

Ideas that don't fit everything aren't as funny, because there are fans for all pets. This is why Scribble is great.

I actually think this is pretty funny. The only problem is what mentioned, where there aren't obvious equivalents for some pets.

I think this idea could go either way in that it could be really cute or just not work that well.

I personally don't have an opinion either way but if it worked for all pets I wouldn't be opposed to it.

Donadak (machine crushing rocks...or just a bunch of boulders and rocks sitting together) Ghostly (gravestone, signifying that ghosts don't really exist) Harvester (cloak hanging on a coat rack) Cadogre and Endeavor (skyscrapers or melted-down metal)

Personally I'd just rather see new, proper colors.

Making another color for April Fools seems a bit pointless.

Oh, what about rock candy for the Donadak? And maybe candy bones for the Harvester? I'm sure there are ideas for the other ones too. Just takes a little more creativity!

I think all species can fit into it if there's enough creativity ^_^

Donadak - Rock cakes (like Hagrid's gourmet rock cakes) Ghostly - Marshmallows (this was a bit of a stretch, but I think ghostlies might be able to get away with it) Harvester - Bundle of wheat (get it? :D) Endeavor/Cadogre - Chocolate coins!

I think staff could do well with the food theme, the artists are super creative and they've done great things with the nostalgic pets, I'm sure they could pull off a "food" theme.

Hmm, food.. aren't sweetheart pets all "candy"? I think some of these ideas might be better off as items. I'm already reminded of themed bento boxes, haha. I like the idea of a novelty pet colour though.

I kinda like this idea, tbh. It's morbid but if it's done 'tastefully' I think it'd be amusing-- both pun intended and by means of not a chopped up bloody burger with a head sitting next to it, but y'know.. a burger. If done in an amusing manner it could easily be just one of those SURPRISE ALL UR PETS R FOOD LOL and it goes away the next day.

Late night thinking challenge:

Donadak - rock candy or nerds Ghostly - lollipop ghost or ghost shaped folded napkin Harvester - sugar skull Cadogre and Endeavor - pez or candy robots (google it, tons of cool stuff pops up).

Bonus round: Aeanoid - salad Bhakoru - nostalgia:

This could be a cute idea, but tbh it just reminds of when Neopets used to release 'fake' pets just for April Fool's.

And I echo what people have said about it not being as fun if it doesn't work for every pet.
