The permissions for who can join a forum group all work correctly now, and if your group is invite-only you can finally send out invitations again.

what about who can ping the group? the "Who Can Ping" option means nothing because regardless of what you choose anyone in the group can ping

i just looked and saw why admin-only wasn't working (and fixed it), but are you sure it happened with the member-only option? because that should have been working fine.
sorry, i should have worded that better. i had only ever tested it with the admin only option as that was the only one ive seen abused. thank you for fixing it though!
every single report of that that i've checked out was because the user who wasn't getting pings wasn't an accepted member in the group. which isn't a bug.
I have submitted a ticket awhile ago and it was closed as this was being looked into. I do not get pings from battle which as far as I know it's a public group.
