Cloudy and windy here too. Leaves starting to turn and blow around. A sure sign of Fall. The second sign will be seeing the kids walking back to school next week. Summer is never long enough, but it's really been a nice one. Happy Autumn everyone!

Sassy,our kids started school,I think Last Weds.So their already there. =D

Our weather here is Hot & muggy.It's like the past couple of weeks been so muggy & miserable.If the mugginess would go away It might be tolerable.But I'd rather have this then snow Lol I'm not ready for that yet.

Well rainy and cold today.. looks like fall has started :(

Good morning everyone! I have NO idea where the time went yesterday. I started to log in and then got pulled away by the kids, then the dogs, then the hubby and everyone else in the world it seems. Can I just say I will be glad when School is back in session and I have more time?? I did manage to finish up a baby blanket last night for some friends that just had a baby. :) I think I will make a matching hat to pair it with.

Today we have some last minute school shopping to do at the mall and shopping plaza.

I miss fall in the north. The leaves don't change here till well into November. sigh Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. Could just be the Scorpio in me. I definitely think summer was long enough this year. My girls agree and are ready to go back to school!

I totally agree with you about not complaining about warmer weather! We are still in the high 80's - mid 90's here. Winter comes along WAY too quickly here!! Congrats on your high score!! high-fives

The girls go back the 8th here as well. Our teachers were back in class two weeks ago.

We are the last county around us to start this year. Everyone else went back one to two weeks ago. We were one snow day shy of starting in August this year. I think they are hoping for a bad winter this year so we can go back earlier next year.

My favorite time of the year, when we lived in Michigan was fall too . So many red maples, we always had to take a drive north to see the colors. Michigan was so hot and humid in the summer. We lived on a lake, had lots of company. It was nice for it to cool off and the kids to go back to school. I needed the break. Living here in the mountains, summer is great and never long enough. But I shouldn't complain, I enjoy having different seasons. Just think if we lived somewhere with one season we would only wear one type of clothing all year round-dreadful to think about. LOL

Hi CWF! Stariderr Wanted me to let you know that she can't be on much because her neck is still giving her lots of pain. She had an MRI on Monday and hopefully it will show just what the problem is and the doctor will know exactly what to do to heal her and take the constant pain away. She was going to therapy and was really hoping that would work but it hasn't. Prayers and thoughts will be appreciated. She really misses everyone!

All moved in but not quite 100% with the house. Still stuff to unpack, like my model horses, but we can't as the damp as not been sorted in a couple of rooms :( The bunnies seem settled though so that's the main thing. We had Mollie's ashes back this week so it's been a little tough.

I can't wait until things have settled down more.
