Oh, Kysta, that sounds horrible. It's been a muggy swamp for the past several weeks here. Weather forecasts keep saying that the heat spell will finally break, and then it just... doesn't. A cold (but snowless!!!!!!!!) winter sounds good right now, too.

I've been neglecting my usual routine here; but trying to get back into it. The next event is Keelhauliday, I think.

Congratulations to all the other Monthly Cup Lottery winners =D Kysta, I'm so sorry to hear your heat pump broke.I used to live in a Mobil home,a long time ago.I know what your talking about when you don't have air conditioning in there,it's like putting a tin can in the sun.We had no trees around it.I hope you find a cheaper window air conditioner.You really need that.It's just to hot not to have it.We ended up buying one big air conditioner to cool it off.when we moved into our home,we use it too.That thing worked so well.=D Now we don't have to worry about it,because we down sized to a 2 bedroom apt.We have Air in every apt.I really like it here.Try & stay cool.

Happy Belated Subetaversary!!

So tomorrow is the first day of school for us here! Bittersweet as it may be, I think we are all ready for them to get back as are they. It's going to be a crazy morning here. :) After I drop my youngest off, I have to head out and do birthday shopping for her. Saturday the 12th is her birthday, and my parents arrive on Friday the 11th. Meal plans, birthday dinners, gifts and so much shopping and cleaning to do this week! I'm both excited and appalled by it all. How bad is that?

I'm taking the girls over to Five Below to pick up a few last minute things they need for school. The oldest saw a backpack over there and a pair of shoes she liked, and the youngest some socks and a water bottle..... easy enough right?

Curling up with a mug of coffee and digging into some questing. I'm around for a few hours this morning while the house begins to wake up. I hope you all have a beautiful Monday!

Congrats to all the prize winners, I love giving away stuff. I took out a few million and went on a cult shopping spree for themed prizes to store in the cults storage for future months so I can try for monthly themes in the lottery while they are cheaper in the off season. Got lots of goodies to give away. I even lucked up and found an that someone had priced for 499k which I will be giving away at some point. I love finding good deals. :) I've also started planning for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas fun... er.. excuse me... Morostide, Fireside and Luminaire. :)

Hope everyone is enjoying Labor Day. I sure am. I LOVED turning my alarm clock off this morning. LOVED LOVED LOVED curling back up in my covers for a few more hours in my cool room. I had the fan pulling cool night air into the house all night, it will be gone by noon but man does it feel good right now.

Mom is doing ok, thursday she is going for a check up and removal from cast and metal she has in her foot. If all goes well things should be back to normal after that.

Thank you , there have already been quakes in Tennesee and somewhere else this year. The plates are moving so we are pretty much due. It is very, very eerie when it gets like this. All I can hear now are the Mourning Doves in the distance, NOT helping LOL!!

, That does sound eerie! We have turtle doves here. They make three different calls. Two of them are different coos but one of them is very deep and disturbing on a good day. I would hate to be hearing it on a still, calm day. That would sound foreboding for sure. Yikes, take care dear!

Thank you . I had to give in and admit it's autumn and going to stay that way. Leaves are changing and blowing all over now. I still have hopes that we will get a few more weeks of hot weather before winter sets in though.
