I hope this is alright, I made an hippogriff with a human base ? I'm still a magical creature so... I thought at first doing a centaur but didn't know if that was allowed either ? (this dead ferret is very tasty !)

Whimzy/Gryffindor

Megan/Hufflepuff
The Dire stag is a rare beast. Its eyes will see straight into your soul and judge if you are a threat to them. Few have survived meeting these wonderful creatures and those who do feel more enlightened once the encounter is done.
The magical properties of their antlers can reverse the effects of any curse associated with severing the soul from the body (i.e. Horcruxes and in some cases the cruciatus curse) and if administered correctly will not damage the soul in any form.
Dire stags tend to only appear during the wintertime and only during heavy snowfall.

you're most definitely allowed to use the human base to make a human/hybrid creature if you wish ^^

I chose a Couatl, which is a winged snake creature.

Kendra Krum | Hufflepuff The Humadee has an interesting history, one that begins during the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, but a short one at that. During the battle, their hummingbird, which was used to research life and death in the Time Room, got loose. After being confined to a jar its entire life, it was hell bent on getting as far away from the Department of Mysteries as possible. It migrated to Alaska and mated with the Chickadee, creating a new species of magical bird. The original hummingbird died off, due to the cold climate, but left its offspring as its legacy. The Humadee, however, with the help of its Chickadee DNA, adapted to cold temperatures. When flying, it leaves a green trail behind it and, when threatened or frightened, it is able to let out an icy breathe that has the same effects as the Freezing Spell (freezing things and people, putting out fire, and creating ice blocks). Three years later, the Ministry of Magic learned about the existence of this creature. It is said that the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures obliterated it, because it hasn't been seen since, but it is also rumored that the Humadee can be summoned via a book in their possession. I guess we'll never know.
Yis oki, thankies dear ! Keeping my submission then. :)
I will be honest here and say that I had to use Photoshop and modify my HA a micro bit. For some reason the Aye Eye Gold Eyeliner wouldn't layer under the mane and it looked really weird. So I used a couple of tools and fixed it. I don't know why it wouldn't layer, but...gah! Oh well. It looks almost genuine XD I'll post both just so that you can see. The first will be the modified version and the result I was really trying to aim for in the wardrobe. The second is what the wardrobe was insistent on giving me kicks it

Seeing as I'm a Gryffindor, I thought it fitting to do something lion-esque. It's a Merlion. These creatures are as pure of heart and loyal as any earthly lion. As you can see, it has the head and torso of a lion and the bottom half is fish. The Merlions are both male and female (Merlionesses have no manes) and have different colours and styles of tails. These sea creatures are very rare to see as they live in the hidden depths of the oceans. If you're ever lucky enough to come upon one, they will grant you your single heart's desire. They know, too, all your intentions, good and bad, and so will base their gift that they give you when you ask for your heart's desire on those intentions. You may or may not like the outcome, depending on your purity of heart. The scales from the Merlion's fin also hold magical properties. It is said that when you eat it, you will be given the everlasting gift to be able to swim freely underwater as swiftly and agilely as they can. It's also useful in potions for cures against any sea creature poisons.
(I based my idea from here, though there are no similarities between the two.)
Wolf Swiftpaw - Gryffindor House

"Natalie" / Ravenclaw
Amarandis (Amarandi pl) are among the most terrifying beasts in our world. They thrive from every bad experience a person has ever encountered. Pulsing through the memories of an individual, the Amarandi increase the amount of fear and anxiety, causing a sensation overload. The body is put into a sleep-like paralysis, the heart and lungs become drenched in cold, and every bad memory is played on a continuous loop. The longer an individual remains in paralysis, the stronger the Amardani become, gaining the ability to twist memories to become a horrifying nightmare.
Little to no information is known about warding off these beasts, but if a victim is found within an hour of paralysis, a mixture of Deadlyius and Shrivelfig will destroy the beast within the victim's mind, freeing them.

Amanda - Ravenclaw Creature: Mermaid. This is a mermaid that is from saltwater as opposed to the freshwater mermaids found in the lake on the grounds at Hogwarts. This specimen coloring is based on the coral reefs around the area that she is from.
Cleared by staff: Maximum height is 325px.
Do humanoid mermaids count? I tried to make mine a little more inhuman but aaaah! (trying to make a chimera didn't work...)
As long as it's not human totally, it counts

Jarvey
The Jarvey resembles an overgrown ferret, and is commonly found in Britain, Ireland, and North America. The Jarvey is capable of Human speech, although true conversation with a Jarvey is impossible. The creature uses short, usually rude, statements and phrases in an almost constant stream.
Jarveys live below ground, and their diet consists of moles, voles, rats, and Gnomes. Jarvey are particularly good at hunting Gnomes, and are sometimes employed to de-gnome a garden, although their methods are usually brutal.
[edit] Just noticed wardrobe glitched my layering as well. Now, however it won't access all items on Subeta at all, so I'm stuck with wonky paws. (grumble)

My magical creature is one that the muggles have tried to emulate and have failed. You may see the ghosts first when you look at this picture...because a Teddy Bear is so ... well small! In this particular image, you'll see one mid-attack! This is the defender of young princes, the first real knight a princess knows. These protect tiny explorers from the horrors of a kracken, and shadows don't dare creep near a Teddy! These will defend a child from all of their nightmares, and any monster that comes out of any story book, no matter how scary. The more a child loves their Teddy the stronger it will become. Which is good because the larger a child's mind, the stronger the monsters. Imagination is a powerful thing. These little bears help. They're sentient beings, they can take any form. They just choose small huggable stuffed animals because children are more likely to keep them close.
