I have come back to Subeta from a long hiatus and am starting to train/battle again.

Back in 2011 I won a Temple Guardians Axe Head which is used the create the Sandreaver. Since I do not have any chance of creating one myself, I might as well sell it and use the funds to buy myself some new weapons.

Since this item is extremely rare I really know what to put it up for. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I sold one for 1.1b about two years ago. The person I sold it to was able to make a Sandreaver from it, because they already had the other piece, which might have raised the price a little bit.

I don't think it's possible to make a sandreaver anymore. I think that the last person that had a Blade Tip also has the Axe Head, unless they have since combined.

If there were to be any Blade Tips left though : I remember a couple selling for 1.6-1.8 and that was 3 to 4 years ago. Add in inflation and it's no cheaper than other godlies.

OMG that much... I am hoping to sell to someone who can make a Sandreaver with it, it would be a waste otherwise. Finding a buyer after all this time and who has the spear tip might be difficult though.

and without a potential sandreaver, the weapon is worth a lot less. Rarity and collector value would come into play, and it'd still be worth a few hundred millions though

told the OP on the BC thread they should just hold onto it and see if the Saherimos plot prizes get added to the antique shop.

why would they wait for that ? Prizes from that plot are so low on the list of things to get into the antique shop that it's essentially not happening. This isn't the kind of item the Antique Shop is trying to aim at.

Also : this weapon sucks. The stats are worth little. Why wait for them to price it 50 million in the antique shop ?

even while it sucks, it is one of the last steps prizes for the plot so it will probably be worth a lot on the Antique Shop, along with the other wearables but they won't be as expensive as the final weapons/wears/minions.

What defines "a lot" ? 50 million is a lot, for a lot of things. The point of the Antique shop is that things get purchased from there, not just stare at you from a distance.

This discussion is making it difficult for me to decide to sell or not :P While it might go for a lot in the antique shop eventually, I do not know when or if that will happen. But even still, I doubt that it will be cheap if it is put in the shop, considering that it was one of the final prizes. Anyhow, I would welcome the extra funds right now, so if a buyer does show up I would most likely sell it now if the offer is decent.

I don't know how the Antique Shops plays a role in your decision if you own the item. It essentially means that your extremelly rare item will be released to the public, majorly devaluing it. If you can get a good price for it, you can get it now. Or they'll price it so high that no one will buy it, like they did to some Pirate Shop items, which helps nobody in the end.

that's the point. They overpriced many items from the pirate/islander shop, so the same shall happen with the Steele Plot. Look at the Antique Shop, see how many tier 10 weapons are there for less than 100m. None. They will go based on the rarity, the release mode and the tier of the weapon, not precisely if it sucks or not. Very few "useful" items are valued at 50m or less there.

yeah they're way overpriced and I don't see why that helps when trying to sell an item. the item's value won't increase because it suddenly is priced 5 times too high. the antique shop was mainly made so that items that were worth a ton got a price cap that they wouldn't get over. If you had any of these items before, you had better sold them before they were introduced in the A-Shop

I think this proves a point one of you was making. I believe it's relevant.

Siren dagger and the cutlass thing obviously come to mind. That's because whoever decided the prices of the items in the A-Shop thought the very best way to do it was to find a unique point to sP ratio that would fit every item and bam, that was it. Well, that's not a clever way to do it, and you end up in a ridiculous situation like the item you've mentionned.

Ponderation according to % of users that got X points, because each point is more difficult than the last and taking into account that they had re-released some of these items would have been much clever. Nevermind brains : staff memebers told me that "no one on staff wanted to do it like that".

But that would essentially have made the lower end items cheaper for people to grab (because 100m or w/e for a single flower, wut) middle end items at an average+ price, and the two big weapons at their very high price.
