We are now winding down to the last chapters, and so, since you are all such fabulous players and competitors, the challenges are tougher.
Some notes are needed here. First and foremost:
Grumpkins stalks by, dragging a gagged and bound Hint Faerie down the steps into the basement.
I won't answer any "give me a hint" question about Rosemary's instructions for the tunnel pieces puzzle. Figuring them out properly is part of the puzzle. NO HINTS ON THAT PART!
There is no specific configuration for the pieces. They must all connect to each other in some way. There may be more than one solution. As long as you meet the puzzle hints, you are fine. You MUST RP this section with your companions, however many you have.
For the individual challenge, you should all participate individually. You can cover for someone who is ill, in crisis of any kind, out of a computer, etc. That is just fine!! (This might get my captains to finally decide whether they want to carry someone they haven't seen or heard from since Day 1. :D )
The places are tailored toward classes, but your team may mix and match as you all wish. Only Heaven's Kitchen requires a specific item, but there is a wide enough color range to work. Captains should, as always, post the whole teams HAs in one post on the thread. If you have more than six members on a team, you may duplicate a place, BUT the RP will be individual for the character. If you are playing alone, just pick one you like.
All of you may sum up by finding Lightning. (Yes, it IS an "adventuring convention" and you will all get credit.)
Fire away with questions and comments. :D
Good luck teamies!
RIP Mom, I love & miss you more than you know. Tell Dede hi.
Ocean Conservation Namibia on YouTube... they do good work! https://www.ocnamibia.org
I have a billion questions - how is there such a thing as a human companion? What exactly are those places? The descriptions are a little confusing. Do I need to visit all of them? Should I break my companions up and send them to two other places? I'm just not sure how well Flame and Sierra will handle being split up.
Is Tanaka available?????? runs away fast

There is no such thing as a human companion, but you might have a humanoid one. Some people have a sprite, for example.
Those are the nearby places where Lightning might have run. How are you confused by a description? Please explain. As I said in the post above yours:
The companions are not split. They go together. They are only split off from you.
Tanaka is his own person. Available for what, exactly?
oh a coffee and a cuddle perhaps? 😇 runs away even faster before Rowan gets the fire hose out XD
Hunh...I thought this would have lasted through until the end of September o.o

It never has. Always over in early Aug.
Tenaka hands Wolfy a big cup of coffee and gives her a hug (Fanservice is important!)
what about those of us that don't have companions? can we help with the construction or something?
Exactly. Your team may not all have companions, but you can all help write the RP or place the pieces, or whatever.
alright! rolls up her selves and hopes her character doesn't end up killing one of the furries he is not an animal lover....
So, before I get all confused, I'd better ask if these are the tasks and if I have the team and individual things correct, little summary thing haha:
Pipe Puzzle: Team effort, RP for companions and image of the pipe puzzle?? (we smail the image or put everything on the thread?)
Going after Lightning: Individual effort – RP of mission and HA based on the description (the captain or co-captain puts this on the thread, together with the other RP??)
Everything goes on the thread. And yes, you're completely right about all of it.
My pleasure, hunny. It's a big enough task as it is. :D
This is going to be a tough one... I'm still not entirely certain how the pipes work. I hope our Captain has more of a clue than I do. But yay! The Companions get their chance to shine! Hope this doesn't inflate Kiska's ego any more than it already is!
Happy Birthday!
Please remember that you may rotate, flip, do anything but break.
Thank you!! :)
So... like Tetris?
Exactly like that, except they must be connected, and they can only connect at the ends, so you can make a twisty root tunnel of your own. They do NOT have to make an enclosed loop, so one end piece will be open at the end as an exit.
Ah, I get it now. :D Thank you!
