So I just finished the last episode of season five for game of thrones. If you've seen it so plan on it, I would love to chat about it and hear some thoughts or theories from other people!
A lot happened on the final episode and I feel like I might need some emotional support.
And warning I'm sure there will be spoilers! :D
I'll admit despite the fact I knew what was going to happen at the ending, it didn't help when it actually did indeed happen. That scene had my hands on my mouth and my eyes widened lol.
Spoils ahead
Someone was mentioning that Kit Harrington has signed a contract for the next two seasons(last two) so we know he isn't dead-dead. Either he's going to warg into Ghost or Melisandre will resurect him similarly to how Beric Dondarrion was. We will need confirmation of his parentage after all.
The Walk of Shame was done so well. It was actually the one scene I was looking forward to and it was true to the books. I actually felt pity for her which I never thought would ever happen.
I think everyone knew what was going to happen when the season started but it still hurt so bad.

I think (and hope) you're right about Jon. G R.R has always commented on Jon being a large part of the story and I would hate to see the show kill him off when there are a lot of things happening with his story line. But I also read an interview where Kit said he knew he was dead and he didn't know anything about them bringing him back. He also said the news that got out about the contracts wasn't true but idk. I just really hope he isn't gone lol. And I agree with how they did the walk of shame. I mean I didn't feel sorry for Cersi but damn, it was pretty powerful.
It's very true. We are at the point where there is not much if any book material to go by anymore since the author writes slower then molasses.
[Spoiler=More spoils] Hm I haven't seen the interview but it could also be thay he isn't allowed to say anything for shock sake. I sincerely doubt he's dead at this point. His storyline is far too important at this point. Lol hoping for parentage conformation tho if he is alive. Just need a yay or nay at this point xD [/spoiler]
I still refuse to believe it. I can see myself, two years from now, watching the credit of the final episode still saying "nahhh.. it's not true, there's gonna be an after credit scene and everything will be alright again" xD

i've read the interview, but what was he supposed to say? even if he knows Jon isn't dead he's not gonna tell us and ruin everything, so I still have hope xD
It is possible thou that he won't be back for season 6 until the last episode, I can see that happening..we'll see D=
Do you guys think Stannis is actually dead? We didn't see Brianne killing him, so I wonder...
😩 Jon's parentage keeps me up at night. I'm in the hesnotnedsson camp and I was sooo wanting a confirmation in this season (even though is not in the books). But fingers crossed for season 6.
I spent a good half hour after the episode looking in the cracks of the Internet not wanting to believe it happened 😳

I hope they bring him back first episode hahaa. But idk. I was hoping for lady stoneheart this season but I don't think we will be seeing her :(
And as for Stannis I hope he is. I think Melisandre would know if he was alive still (?maybe). But I also could see Bri not doing it (she angers me sometimes). I feel like I missed an hour in last nights episode because I don't have any answers!
@ Lia [Spoiler=Spoils] I'm pretty sure that Stannis will come back. GoT never has a problem showing mutilation. If I recall he is alive in book 6 (was spoiled I think. It's been awhile). Your right with Jon tho. He probably is legally bound to not spoil storyline and such. Lol [/spoiler]
I totally think his parentage has nothing to do with Ned like everyone else. It kinda indirectly hinted at it so at least there was that. Lol
I knew it was going to happen and I was sure they were ending it right there, so I was kinda resigned to the fact that we had to wait a year to know what really happened. Still, I'm not coping that well so far xD

At least Arya killing that perv was SOOOO satisfying, lol, she truly is the most badass of badasses on the series xD
Yeah, when I saw they cut the scen right before Brienne hit him I thought maybe this wasn't the end for him!
I really think Jon is half Stark and half Targaryen from Ned's sister and the mad king. Which makes him Daenerys half brother (I just really wanted them to meet and kick ass together).

I think Melisandre will bring him back. I read a theory that said she might look to him as the person in her prophecy. His name is Azor Ahai.
Heres a quote from google if you haven't looked it up "
According to the prophecy recounted by Melisandre, after a long summer, Azor Ahai will be reborn amidst smoke and salt wielding the flaming sword Lightbringer to defend the world from R'hllor's nemesis, the Other. While Melisandre is certain Stannis Baratheon is Azor Ahai, others are not so sure."
So maybe??

I could watch Arya's storyline by itself. It's so interesting and again left us at a total cliffhanger. I haven't read the most recent book, but does it give any more information on her situation?
Also Sansa? I feel like the writers left us a total like wtf is going to happen. That was a pretty far jump.

I wouldn't so much as say he's the son of the Mad King Aerys but Lyanna and Rhaegar Targaryen who was Dany's brother. It was said that Rhaegar "kidnapped" and "raped" her which is very very OOC of him. The only one who spoke ill of Rhaegar was Robert Baratheon since technically speaking Lya was supposed to marry him. I don't think Lyanna met Aerys during her "imprisonment". Totally think he's a Targaryen as well. I could explain the theory if you wanted. :)

It's perfectly fine. :) I'd like them to meet myself but mostly so I can see them fighting the white walkers.
In regards to the prophecy I know Rhaegar was very very driven by it. There was a vision in the books in the House of the Undying(with Dany) that had him talking to his wife who had just birthed his son saying he needed one last child(3 heads of the dragon and what not). His wife couldn't have any other children without it killing her.
Do you think this prophet could be Dany? I mean she's been 'reborn' once before?
It's possible. Dany and Jon are the two people tend to assume the "Hero" to be. They both fit into it in different ways. Dany because of the dragons (born amongst fire and salt) and Jon because of what happened to him when he gets stabbed. In the books his wounds smoke. Show differed with that tho. Either way both of the characters have huge roles in the series as a whole. I just wonder who is gonna die in the long run lol. It wouldn't be GoT without a major death.

Yeah I can see both sides of it which is probably intended. And I didn't really feel likes Jon's death was...idk how to put it. It just didn't happen like I thought it was. Maybe it's just me, but I didn't even know they were upset with him because of what happened. I mean they weren't planning on meeting white walkers there and he tried to save them as best as he could. I just felt like when he came back he was going to have to kill people because they've been angry with him since the start not them kill him... I have no idea if that makes any sense at all. haha. It just didn't seem like a death meant for such a major character.

The reason they were angry with him is because to the people on the other side of the Wall(Jon and co) the Wildlings are traitors. Jon Snow was known to mingling with them, and in Ygritte's case loving them. The Nights Watch felt betrayed and when Jon went to recruit more of them, the men who were manning the Wall felt betrayed.
The whole dying thing could also be a way for him to be "reborn" as well if you think about it. Aemon told him to "let the boy die and the man be born" or something on the lines of that after all.

I understand they were mad at him, but I don't know, it just didn't seem like they were going to do anything about it. But I guess I was wrong lol. I really hope he "becomes reborn". I heard he could possibly warg into his ghost? I think that might be a little out there thought.

Oh yeah definitely lol. They were waiting for a good moment in doing so. I'll be honest when I saw the preview that involved Benjen I was so excited. Then I realized exactly what that meant when I saw the sign that said Traitor. Poor Jon.
Yeah I think all the Stark children could warg. Bran can, and I think at one point Jon did. Not sure with the others.

Well if Jon does warg, then I'm not sure how I feel about it. I read somewhere that his narrative could change? I think thats what they meant by him becoming his wolf. But Ghost wasn't around him (that we know of) when he was killed so who knows! I guess the writers do lol or maybe. I just would hate to never see Jon's beautiful face again:/

I cant agree more! Hopefully they don't butcher his storyline all together. From what I know, the producers like to cut storylines so I wouldn't be surprised yet if they cut Jon all together they'd lose at least 1/3 of their subscribers.
