SPOILER (click to toggle) I always said from the beginning that if Jon died I would stop watching lol. But that was a little too hopefully, because if you like a character, most likely they're going to die. :/ lol

Isn't that the truth. My first favorite character was actually Ned Stark and look what happened to him. I ended up actually ruining it for myself when I started reading the books. I opened to a random page thinking it was where I was and well..it involved Jon talking about avenging his father lol. Needless to say I was pissed. From then on I try to be neutral xD

It's hard not to be hopeful. You always want to root for the underdog and the problem is is that it's so satisfying when a bad guy loses. Then you're like "okay this is looking good for ___" then bam they're dead lol. G.R.R is sleeping on a bed of our tears lol.

SPOILER (click to toggle) I've heard there are two theories about Azor Ahai and the prince that was promised, some think they're the same person and some think they could be two different people and Jon is the prince while Dany is Azor. That's because Azor sacrificed her wife to obtain the sword Bringer of light, which could apply to Dany killing Drogo and then burning him to obtain the dragons. Jon could be the PTWP because he is both Ice and Fire, if him being the son of Lyanna and Rhaegar is true. The three headed dragon could be Dany, Jon and one of the Stark children, since the third dragon head is supposed not to be targaryen. I would like to see Bran warg into one of the dragons and carry Arya as his rider =P From what I remember all the Stark children can warg into their wolf, but that hasn't been shown in the TV series. Arya never had dreams about being Nymeria as she has in the books, for instance. I think at this point anything can happen, the books and the series are at the same point. Sansa should survive althou it's hard to tell cause her story is completely different in the books, che's not the one married to Ramsay. I've always thought she could die at some point cause she's the only Stark child who doesn't have their wolf anymore, but that's just my theory xD

Ahh yes that's true. I couldn't remember the story of Azor Ahai so I am glad to hear that someone else is familiar with it. :) I think that they are essentially the same thing: a hero who will conquer the darkness but both are part of different religions so there will be variations.

SPOILER (click to toggle) The other person who (in the books) was believed to be the third head of Rhaegar's dragons was Aegon but they cut him and Connington in the show. The third could be Bran. Remember Bloodraven said that he'd never walk again but he'd fly after all!

He must be creating a castle of our tears at this point. I gave up on the living lol. I am on the side of the dead xD. Lyanna and Rhaegar are my two favorites only because their story is so tragic. Both are dead though so I don't need to worry about them dying again!

I'm trying to decide whether or not this is one of the best finales of the show so far. It was like one scene after another of holy shit moments.

I think I'm the only on in camp not traumatized by the "shocking" death in the season finale that has people up in arms. I knew what was coming and honestly I was like, eh. I've never been a hardcore fan of that character tbh. Though I will say that scene was very well done.

SPOILER (click to toggle) I think the most brutal scene for me was the walk of shame. Lena Heady was just flawless in that one. I've literally never felt bad for Cersei until then. If that scene didn't affect anyone I'm judging them. Sure she's not a good person but I wouldn't wish that "atonement" upon anyone. Basically emotional torture.

I gave up on the fifth book 1/3 of the way through so I can't say anything about book vs. show and honestly I think people who compare the two and complain about them not staying true to the book are stupid. I've been treating them as two separate stories since the beginning of the season.

I got to see my lady crush, Indira Varma, again this episode so yay!

I think the thing that would make my life is if they offed Dany. She's my least favorite in both the shows and the books.

I think for me the finale left me on the edge of my seat because it had a lot of "you don't know whats going to happen next until next season" moments. And I too wasn't really shocked, but it was still painful.

SPOILER (click to toggle) The walk of shame was done really well, but I've seen pictures of the Lena Headey's face CGI'd onto a body and it makes me laugh xD.

And I would have been offended by the Dany comment two seasons ago, but she has pissed me off lately. She use to be such a strong person and now she kinda sucks.

SPOILER (click to toggle) Maybe she will grow a pair (again) this upcoming season with her dragon

Tbh, I lost respect for Dany like in the 2nd season. She just does nothing for me and I feel like D & D really want us to root for her. She's like the least qualified person to run the seven kingdoms and I just can't take her seriously. I'm like, girl get it together.

Honestly, I feel like the character who evolved the most over the past seasons is Sansa. There's a quote in the 3rd book (I think) that sums her up really well

"My skin has gone from porcelain, to ivory, to steel."

Her storyline is the most compelling for me. Of all the characters she's been a consistent favorite of mine since Season 2/Book 2 onwards. I'm actually a fan of the decision to switch Jeyne and Sansa which I know a lot of people are not fans of. I feel like this gives Theon's redemption arc more credibility to the audience and shows just how much Sansa has changed since she first stepped foot in King's Landing.

SPOILER (click to toggle) I'm dying to see where Arya's storyline is headed though. Her character progression from Season 1 to Season 5 is almost as drastic as Sansa's. The scne with Meryn Trant was breathtaking.

I honestly could watch an entire show of just Arya's storyline. It's the most interesting by far and I'm so excited to see where it goes.

SPOILER (click to toggle) Sansa's character development is great because she knows what she has to do. Out everyone in this world she knows how to survive the best. I was just really hoping for a better conclusion than her jumping off the wall with Theon. But I'll take what I can get

And I haven't read the books except for the first so I'm not familiar with Jeyne. xD
