[Item=subeautique invitation] I would like to see an option in which we are allowed to purchase 5 SubQ invites for 500k sP daily. I'd like to think it won't make the price of SubQ Invites in user shops to plummet. That those users should still be able to make a profit from the invites. This would likely stop the random events as well, although in the past 3-4 days I have been active I have only found about 1 invite through random event.
What do you guys think?
I apologize if a post was made about this, I tried to look as careful as possible.
100k per Subeautique Invitation?
I would think something like this would suggest a value equal to or higher than the current user shop norm. Lower though? I can't think of a reason why the site wouldn't want to make a better sP sink out of this.

I think the OP meant 500k each.
Either way I do think it would have affect on the overall price.
I feel like although this might keep the invites at the right price (assuming 1. that OP means 500k each and 2. that people don't buy them and later sell them for cheaper) this would bring down the price of SubQ items themselves.
500k each is a more reasonable suggestion, but I wouldn't like it if this system replaced the random events. I would think a change like this would definitely have a direct effect on the prices of the invites themselves and SubQ items in user shops.

I don't quite understand why you think it wouldn't affect the overall price (shop search) values? That would definitely put way more invites in circulation, more supply lowers the values if the demand doesn't counter it...
I don't have a problem with how we obtain the invites now. I know the RE percentage is often tweaked. Do I find enough to keep up with my demand? No, but I supplement by buying from other users who don't use their invites. I think the system now is pretty fluid.
Recently, while following my method for fragging, I found 3 invites in a 15 minute period. I find them often when I browse lots of pages around the site.
Even though it would greatly benefit mE because I restock the subq daily, I don't support this suggestion. Sorry!
The only way I could see maybe thinking that 100k apiece wouldn't influence overall value of the items would be if the 500k option went directly into your Other Currencies, but I am 100% sure that the option to get up to 35 invites a week, at a cost of 1/3 their rate as of today, the price would HAVE to plummet in user shops if anybody actually wanted to be able to sell them.
The 500k per item option, that makes a lot more sense. However:
I get the inspiration for this idea. I do. I totally get it. But I don't think it's well formulated right now.
Tbh I've been finding a decent amount of invites lately, I don't even think the rate of the RE needs to be messed with for the time being much less adding in another way to get invites
I personally dont understand this request (unless OP meant 100k/invite?). Or unless OP wants to set a high ceiling for Invite prices (aka never let market price never exceed 500k)
if you really want it at 500k/invite, lol ill sell it to you for that. i have hundreds that are just rotting.
Idk, putting them in the MC for like 300k makes more sense to me. 1 per hour and it keeps their price stable around 300k
I like that these are awarded by being active around anywhere on the site, not just the forums like forum points.
Also, I am swamped with invites, please help me get rid of all of them please
I would've sold you the first noktoa life-like the first day they were released for yer invites O_O
-- I mean, if you are saying 500k/invite lol sorry but I'm not spending that much and no one else is going to spend that much when they could buy them from users for cheaper. If you're saying 100k/invite then invites are going to deflate drastically in user shops (because why would you buy something for more from a user when you could buy it for less and sink sP?)
I can just see this getting way out of control way too quickly. Personally, I don't have too much of a problem with invites for the restocking items (though I would like it if the makeups didn't require invites and they'd just add some more sP to the prices because pft don't have enough invites for any of that)
I don't see this being beneficial to the economy as it's currently proposed but I am also in the boat that no matter how much I'm online I can't find any SubQ invites. :< I mostly get pies thrown at me lol so I'm always short invites and have to buy them from user shops. My main thing is that I really don't like buying them at the price they currently are, so I can't see myself using this option. Perhaps adding another option to what we currently have that still requires you to be active on the site would be more beneficial than selling them. I can't think of anything though so it may just be best to leave the system as it currently is.
The only way this proposal is logical is if the OP meant 100k per invite, and that's not going to work at all. The market would be flooded and the prices would plummet. Unless of course, they did away with the REs altogether, but that's just a whole can of worms and I don't think is what they mean? But if the proposal is 500k apiece, how does that even work? That's more than they're selling in user shops. Couldn't you just buy five a day, from user shops? If you needed five a day? If you need invites beyond what you get from REs, you'll have to buy them for whatever price the supply/demand of the Subetan economy has them at, sorry :(
As a user who used to find invites every day but hasn't so much as of lately, I kind of just want the Random Event reevaluated. I mean, I still come on every day, I quest when I can. Did the level of game play/page views on my part change in some way where I didn't notice? Who knows! But I would love to possibly buy the make ups without the invite. I just haven't been able to keep up on subq stock because of my lacking invites.
I don't support anything like this Suggestion. It sounds like a lot less fun to me.
The reason the Invites were introduced at all was to prevent folks with tons of capital already from snapping up hoarding and then inflating SubQ items, what they were doing when the shop was working like a normal NPC shop. The old way the SubQ worked definitely favored older established players bigtime, and there was much user-rancor about this. A Random Event generated Invite is gettable by anybody. It is more fair.
Selling the Invites directly to users does act like an sP-sink sure. But increasing the base price of every single item in the shop by 100-500K does the exact same sink. Setting up selling Invites is a lot of extra trouble for a same effect.

These have been collected by random RE (mostly). I never bought Subeautique invites. I can't see why a sole invite should be priced 500k a piece if they are less expensive in user shop and can be awarded by a random event. Also, there has been some talk about the subeautique items being sold for over 500k each in the shop itself.
Roughly 1.2m for an item that you can get NOW for the same price. I don't see anything "fantastic" about it. It's a vicious circle and I don't support this.
The OP was meant to sound like 100k per invite. I realize that it is extremely low and will effect user shops. It was a quick suggestion. If however we could purchase 2 invites for 500k total per day, that prices the invites at 250k a piece. If users want more invites then they turn to user shops. Eliminating the random event could make the user prices of the invites go higher since random events would be eliminated.
Some of you mentioned that the RE occurs frequently while for others like me it's quite rare. I agree with some of you that stated the RE should be re-evaluated.
One user mentioned being able to purchase the invite for 300k from the MC, I really love that idea.
I love that this thread recieved a lot of feedback. I really appreciate it. c:
I still don't think this is a good suggestion. I like that the invites are exclusive to REs. I think it's a good system and I don't want exclusive invitations to something that's supposed to be hard to get to all of a sudden super easy to get to. That'll make the items fly off the shelves faster than ever, and will invite the RSers to come in and snag everything like they did with the old shop.
