I'm not a fan of getting rid of the RE for it. I like the current system.
Also this would affect the user shop price of these items. Basically the amount we would need to buy the ticket for would increase the amount we payed for each subq item. So instead of costing x in the boutique, it would be x+the cost of the invite.
Can I cuddlehug you forever for coming back to your thread, where so many of us are like "Here's a laundry list of reasons why I don't think this makes sense", and thanking us for feedback?
I want to buy you a kitten.
I want to take you to Red Lobster during Lobsterfest.
I want to be your best friend for a day.
(But I still don't think either 100k or 500k would work. I also liked the suggestion of 300k in the MC, but I think they should be limited more than 1 purchase per hour)
That's true, forcing users to pay for invites without a RE makes subq items cost more in the long run. I hadn't thought of it that way at first. This is why I wanted to find out what others thought. I supposed I came up with this because I don't get the RE as often as everyone and I'm online for nearly 8 hours a day (yeah heavy addict here, lol). I restock other places than subq and yet I can't seem to snag as many RE as others.
Haha! I love your response. I happen to really love seafood too. You nailed me. xD I actually just got a new kitten, her name's Lucy.
I may not ping everyone because I understand some users might want to just drop a comment and leave it at that without being bothered. So I try to return to thread as often as I can.
I wonder if it's possible to place a seperate timer for a SubQ Invitation if it were placed in the MC. Maybe put it at every 6 hours 1 could be purchased. Oh, or have the ability to click on Emerelda every 6 hours to purchase 1 invite from her. Something like that...
OF COURSE I NAILED YOU. WE ARE BEST FRIENDS FOR A DAY.
I think 6 hours would be pretty good, certainly better than 1 hour. And I'm not super active outside of summer and late-night games/questing sometimes (teacher life, whatever), so if the RE chances have been nerfed, I'd never notice. I do usually miss my REs, though, and just see it later in my inventory...or, er, as it's being zapped by the pet zapper T_T
Haha substitute teacher here. c:
Yes, I think 6 is reasonable but there is that possibility it could still deflate the user shop prices. When the TS restocks there are about 100 of each but we only can choose 1 every 12 hours which doesn't deflate the worth too much. If subq invites were ever 6 hours for a single invite it would be the equivalent of one item restocking in the TS which then makes the item worth plummet. Hmmm...thinking more about this makes the current system sound like the best way. That is until someone can come up with another way. c:
Personally I think that REs are just nerfed for me. I honestly do a ton a refreshing but they're called "random" for a reason...just irks me is all. Grrr...
Ouch, darn that pet zapper. I have never dared to use it. I'm such a chicken, lol.
If you don't want any invites, you'll get plenty. Start having a LOL, WEARABLES SUCK MENTALITY. Enjoy getting 4 invites a day
Lol, I probably should do that. xD
What if after buying certain amount of items from Subeautique, Esmerelda herself would give you a few invitations for being a loyal customer?
[tot=Varis]
What about the people who resell? They aren't very loyal, now are they? :p
No thanks...they're fine the way they are given now - Random Events.
Maybe the items could be tracked, so only ones going in your wardrobe would count?
[tot=Varis]
Maybe after about 5 purchases you get a free invite? Or even as much as 10 purchases you get a free one?
Tracking sounds great but it might be too taxing on the servers to have to follow so many items. I do like the purchase concept though. c:
