So I just thought of a neat idea...we ought to be able to customize individual articles of clothing with logos and stuff. I mean, I know there's already plenty of shirts like that, but sometimes the shirt itself isn't appealing, or the logo. It'd be cool if we could have a bunch of premade logos/designs/whatever and pay a certain amount of SP to put them on our clothes (or just buy them). Sort of the same idea as the luminaire tree. And maybe the ability to remove the existing logo or design from the clothing, although this isn't really probable, since everything would have to be edited. But still, there's plenty of plain shirts and pants that could use some spiffing up, because not everyone can afford CS/custom items (or are just cheap like yours truly, haha). This would also be another way to further individualize our avatars and overall subeta experience.
Oh, and don't mind my naked HA. I'm messing around in my wardrobe lol.
Wouldn't it be easier to just release the logos and stick them on an existing plain shirt? I mean, if there's something specific you want you could submit that as a CW already (so I'm not sure we really need them as site items necessarily) but I think I like the idea of just a design being released as-is rather than a system where you would need to be able to add/remove/change logos on shirts and stuff like that.
It wouldn't be a need to do thing, more like the hair salon, something you COULD add to your plain shirt if you wanted to. Just for people that might want a customized shirt but can't afford CWs or can't draw well enough to make their own (or lazyfolk like me who find drawing too much effort, lol).
Yeah I'd rather just see the designs themselves onsite as items instead. It sounds like a pain in the ass to set up to get not a whole lot of use out of it imo
A set of stick-on logos for use with stuff like the plain t-shirts would be cool, but yeah, I think it would just be unnecessarily difficult to make a bunch of transformable shirts or whatever.
Yeah, that's true, probably not a lot of people would use it.
I think a separate system would be way too complicated, but I like the idea of standalone items. Sometimes I've layered tattoo items like the over a shirt. I wouldn't mind some items more centered on the chest for that purpose.
There could be iron-on transfer paper: x Screenprinting kits and fabric paint/markers: x-x-x Stencils with pictures or letters: x-x
I think they could work well as individual, layer-able design items, particularly the stencils, or they might make nice components for Genetech Lab combos. You could take a plain shirt item + either transfer paper/paint/printing kit + an item related to the end design, like a and it makes a white tshirt with a scarab print.
Kind of a side-note, but what I would absolutely love to see as shirt designs are the little zombie icons from the Volunteer Infection Program. These guys! They are so damn cute! I'd wear 'em on a HA, I'd wear 'em on a real life t-shirt, I just adore them.
The user had come up with a cute CW version of these

Not sure if they ever made it on site, but those could be adorable if executed well [Edit] [S]oh space button and auto correct, why hast thou forsaken me[/s]
