I about lost my mind using the wardrobe today, and I really just want to rant for a minute.

I also want staff to see this so they know what it's like to actually use the wardrobe. I don't think Keith understands how players actually use it, and what the typical workflow looks like. If you don't understand this, it's going to make your job infinitely harder because you'll never be able to properly cater to real end-users.

This is how my process went today:

1. Old wardrobe to find items, because the search in the new wardrobe doesn't work well.

2. Switch to the new wardrobe to hide/unhide layers to test different looks.

3. Back to the old wardrobe to figure out which layers I'm using too many items on and make it all work.

4. New wardrobe to test different eyes to see what they actually look like on my current HA, instead of just on a blank base in the old wardrobe.

5. Reload the new wardrobe every time I want to adjust items, because the it gets stuck on the Base tab every. single. time.

6. Back to the old wardrobe to change mouths, because they aren't part of the new wardrobe yet.

7. Over to the new wardrobe to save the HA in a wardrobe slot, because the old wardrobe only shows 3/5 of my slots for some reason.

Bonus step: Check SubetaLodge for every additional item you're thinking about purchasing, because hovers don't work on the Shop Search so it's a pain to figure out what the item looks like on a blank base, whether you have it on your account, etc.

I don't know how I made it through that ordeal.

This is why I don't use the wardrobe more than I do.

Considering that the wardrobe system is one of the main draws of Subeta and is likely your main source of income, this feature needs to work.

Ugh, please. Not to mention that I still can't organize my items by name so I can't find half of my stuff, nor can I search for it.

And this is why I've been reusing HAs from two years ago for ages.

Ha. Like I said on the contest thread: I would really love if the beta wardrobe was fixed up more before centering contests around it.

And by fixed up I mean... The least bit functional.

The only problem I have with the wardrobe is the inability to move layers around... I think it's because of my kindle though, because I can't change pet headshots, order items, etc. anywhere on the site.. I guess I'm lucky?

This is accurate. It's a headache. Also.

The bug that bothers me the most is when searching All Items On Subeta, some of same items pop up on the next page of items (if there are multiple pages). I just hate that when I'm trying to find something specific.

You're my hero for making this topic, because, omg, do I have some things to say about the wardrobe(s). I've had things to say about it for weeks now but couldn't find a (recent!!!) feedback topic that wasn't about a specific thing.

• Items repeat when you're searching All Items on Subeta. (I don't know if they repeat when you're searching your wardrobe, but they definitely repeat while searching All Items.) I'll see Items A-E on one page, then see them again on another page, basically, and it happens over and over again.

• Sorting by Name and Newest are both faulty. Name would mean alphabetically, I would think, but it doesn't seem to work that way, and some recolors (definitely not alphabetical) are grouped together while others are scattered. Newest displays newest items at the bottom of page 1?

• I can't seem to see my CWs unless I click on the drawer I've moved them into.

• Color codes are iffy. I loved this feature sooo much because I'm really into things that actually match, but it seems that a lot of times colors that don't appear to be in an overlay are pulled, which defeats the purpose of trying to search for things of that color. Works sometimes, but not all the time.

I want to use the new wardrobe, I really do. I like the layering options it gives that the old wardrobe doesn't. But it more often than not leaves me pretty frustrated. I feel like we haven't had any updates about it in forever. And it's also mildly annoying that contests are being made, encouraging users to use the features it comes with, but it's still so glitchy and annoying.

i really, really want to like the new wardrobe, because it seems like it has way more potential for ease of use than the old wardrobe, but the whole "getting stuck on the base tab" bug is gonna be the death of me. i don't change my HA enough to have run into many other major glitches, but that is a pretty glaring one

Yep. I wore the same outfit for like 3 months before Masq started. Then I remembered why I don't use it at all.

I understand things take time. I understand that is a big thing to tackle. Why just stop half way?

not sure if its been said, but would have go to old wardrobe to remove items because new beta wardrobe has an insane list.

Yeah, this really does need to get finished given that it supports Subeta's largest income source: CWs. It's kinda crazy that it's been in beta for over a year, and there are many prevalent bugs that still need to be resolved. The item duplication over multiple pages drives me crazy in particular, and that's unfortunately only one of many, many ongoing issues.

Finishing site features that support profitability coupled with efforts to increase site revenue overall should be priority number one given recent feedback from Keith regarding Subeta's recode needs and impending costs. I tend to think there may be more of a reason behind the scenes for why the wardrobe in particular hasn't been completed since it's such a strong economic support for the site due to CWs. If that isn't the case though then I believe that completing the wardrobe should be one of the highest site priorities right now.

YES. Also, items just not showing up at all in the Beta, such as . I love this item and have used it on nearly every avatar I've made for years, and it's just nowhere. I've started to use cheaper and more covering freckle items for convenience, which really sucks since I spent real money on the item. I really hope the Wardrobe is a priority. Which version are we supposed to use? Frustrating.

A - FUCKING- MEN TO THIS THREAD.

It amazes me how users have managed to make this work or almost a year with little to no complaints. You want people sticking around and telling people about your site? get the biggest feature on your site to fucking work properly and maybe they will. At this point its just an embarrassment.

QFT. The beta wardrobe is a headache. I keep quitting halfway through making HAs.

Gods yes. I just end up looking at the same items over and over again. Why can't it all be alphabetised?

Two features I love about the wardrobe (not beta)

1. Being able to look at the recently added items, very useful.
2. Being able to remove items from the wardrobe.

Is your Pixie Powder stored in a Drawer over at the old Wardrobe? From what I've experienced items in drawers won't show up in the Beta Wardrobe unless you open the drawer itself. I've had that happen with the majority of my Custom Wears.

So like, if you search for something in your wardrobe, and it's in a drawer, it won't show up unless you're searching in the drawer?

At least that's how it works for me. For example I have the Ghoul Latex items in a Drawer and I can only see them if I click on said drawer, apart from that I cannot make them show up in my Beta Wardrobe, even the in-Wardrobe search says "No items found" if I do a general search and not a search in the drawer itself.

Or the fact that it takes forever to load (or won't load at all) and in the end, you see a bunch of broken items and overlay.

I don't like either of the wardrobe right now, but I tend to use the older one for his convenience and the fact that everything shows up if I do check the "All" wardrobe of Subeta.

The new wardrobe is also very unclear in my opinion. Sometime, saving happens when you don't want to. Selecting a spot to save it? No, it just takes whatever it wants.
