Seriously, what if I want to see all the items I own with the word burgundy in the title? That is just severely inconvenient.

Yeah, I deleted most of my drawers too because of it now, makes no sense anymore to use them. :x

What I also hate about the Beta Wardrobe is that the "Newest" sort option doesn't work properly.

I still swear by the old wardrobe and feel bad for anyone who doesn't have that option - there are so, so many glaring problems with the beta wardrobe that it isn't worth the headache at all. I still think the page looks muddled, too.

Oh I use the old wardrobe all the time, I hate the new one. It's completely broken, unusable. It pains me when they keep making these avatar contests and they're like "MUST USE THE SHARE BUTTON IN THE BETA WARDROBE" And if masquerade wouldn't be going on I'd just make the avatar in the old wardrobe, save, go to the beta wardrobe, and share, but I kinda need my masquerade avatar to participate in masquerade so that's not gonna happen.

Instead I went to the beta wardrobe, hoping that it wouldn't be as bad as I remembered. First off I decided since the "base" tab is a pile of ass, I was just going to make the avatar based off the base I already have on, no changes.

I spent 20+ minutes looking for an item that I knew I had but didn't exist in the wardrobe for some reason. I couldn't remember the name of it completely so I typed in "gold". Nothing even showed up? For Gold? Really? They're saying I don't have a single item with the word gold in it when I have up to the 11k tier of wardrobe clothes?

I searched for "fine" next, the other word I could remember from the item. Still nothing. I tried looking in all layers, I tried looking in the layer it belonged in, I tried searching again, I tried selecting all drawers, nothing.

I finally broke down and went to the store where I knew the item was located, copy and pasted the whole name of the item, thinking, "this surely will work, it's the full item name." I pasted it in the search bar of my wardrobe. Nothing. I was surprised but at the same time somehow wasn't surprised. I know I own this item, that's why I have it in the OLD wardrobe and made avatars with it before.

I finally had to switch to "all items on subeta" before I could finally track it down.

Then whenever you try to browse pages, you start getting repeats of items you've seen on previous pages. And to that I'm like "Why?" Then I go back to the previous page and it's now showing items that weren't there when I initially looked at that page just a minute ago????? stares off into the distance

The beta wardrobe is horrid. I only use it to properly use full backgrounds, use the share feature, maybe put on a skin, and pile on as many items as I can in one layer so I can finally trigger the "buy layer slot" to come up, so I can get another slot, in which I then switch back to my other tab containing the old wardrobe, and carry on with my new layer slot. The beta wardrobe can't be used for much else, I don't know how people legitimately use it.

I want to love the beta wardrobe. It promises so much, yet gives me so little.

The having to switch between drawers to find general things is the real killer for me. I still keep my drawers, largely because I live in hope of this being fixed, but it's been broken for SO LONG. Wasn't there something when the beta wardrobe was brought out and Keith just didn't understand why people would want to look all the items regardless of drawers/see items that just weren't in any drawers?

The colour searching is also a problem. the other day I was trying to find matches for an item which was pale pink, but apparently it only registered as a series of greys. I loved it when the beta wardrobe was first out and there was a really detailed breakdown of the colours of the items, but this was reduced for some reason. Now, if I want to find something burgundy, I have to look through purple or dark red items. To be honest, if they could do something to stop black being a relevant colour for EVERY SINGLE ITEM, I'd be happy with just that.

i like to stick with the old wardrobe. every time i try to use the beta one, i end up being frustrated and going back to the old one. i enjoy the simplicity of the old wardrobe. layering/previewing wearables is so easy to do in the old wardrobe. idk if they even fix the item loading function in the beta wardrobe. it seems to randomize the items each time (like for the cw shop items) so when i go on the next page, i see the same item again. anyways i'll be using the old one for a long time. dread the day they force us to switch for good :/

seconding all of this. its why I keep to only items I've recently added ( if the "newest" option even works for that matter, newest/name mean basically nothing to me 99% of the time, its all a scattered mess and name isnt even alphabetical and newest is vaguely usable at least, it doesnt stay that way if the wardrobe refreshes on itself for whatever reason) or outfits i already have figured out, beta wardrobe is an absolute pain to use sometimes unless you want to spend like 5 hours sifting through everything to find something. i'm just barely under the 5kmark for wardrobe items however but dear christ i can only imagine what its like at a higher tier if making HA's from "all items on subeta" is anything to go by too.

edit; didnt see keith's post, ninja'd me while i was writing this. hallelujah for that fix lets hope it stays working because I know I hated when I searched for something and that happened.

I would just kill for there not to be repeats every page when doing the All Items on Subeta criteria. I'm also bloody convinced that some items NEVER show up in the categories, and the only way to find em is through an actual search.

What I don't like about the beta wardrobe is, that you can't be sure that every wearable is listed. In the old wardrobe that's a pretty sure thing, but the new one is really a mess (as it already has been stated here). So you click on newest and it shows some of the newest, next page - some new ones and some items of the first page. Some items are posted twice or more. Another thing is the "size" of the wardrobe, I have to scroll down to see the last items on the page, I don't know how that could be fixed, but that's really annoying. However I use the new wardrobe because you can try several outfits at the same time (and the base has to be fixed in the beta wardrobe).

Tbph, as one who uses the wardrobe and sorts it to "Newest first," the fact that the newest first starts at the lower right in the beta and started in the upper left in the old... I feel like screaming.

Also, adding items to my wardrobe and waiting for five, ten, fifteen odd minutes for them to show up finally is totally not fun. That's assuming they load at all - I've had some not load. Ever.

Yes, it is! Man, that is so frustrating. I'm deleting my drawers. Grrr...

I only use the new wardrobe for very few reasons (the hair salon, adding layers, and occasionally look in the all subeta items tab) because I can't stand the sorting and often items I'm looking for never appear.

I'm also curious if there's a bug related to the hair layer in the beta wardrobe. The layer has a check box next to it like you can view the avatar without the hair as you can other items with the check box however whenever I try to uncheck it the hair stays visible on my avatar

My biggest, overwhelming frustration with the beta wardrobe is it's not listing all the items that I own, particularly CWs and older items. Is this a bug, too? My apologies if this is already being addressed, but, it is what keeps me using the old wardrobe almost entirely except for layering backgrounds (which I am not using now thanks to masquerade but do usually use.) Though , I agree with most of what you said, too. Thanks for bringing this topic up again, as I am all about the HA's and the beta wardrobe is still not close to replacing the old wardrobe IMHO.

My biggest issue with the beta wardrobe is not being able to select all drawers to search for items. I know we asked for the all drawers options and it was put back in, BUT IT DOESN'T WORK!

The other issues are a huge pain too, but not being able to find items I know I own is the worst. Drawers are supposed to make my 17K clothing items easier to sort through, but having to search through 17 drawers and 20+ layers when I can't remember which layer an item is in just doesn't work.

Not only this, but if you accidentally refresh the wardrobe while you're changing, all your clothes disappear and - I don't know, something to do with the bases? - glitches and it won't show the base properly and won't save properly. There are times when I wander around naked until the cache refreshes because the wardrobe literally won't allow me to dress myself after a refresh glitch.

Edit: I also emptied and deleted all my drawers because the new wardrobe won't show items in drawers.

Edit edit: okay, maybe these are glitches too, but it does still affect wardrobe usability. I tried to load a saved outfit and the beta wardrobe absolutely would not allow me to add another item (a mask) and save. It just wouldn't save, and it wasn't a "too many layers" layer issue. I had to go to the old wardrobe to put on a mask.

One issue I normally have with it is it'll "freeze" up if I sit on it too long or make too many item changes/searched (over 30 normally) to which I save and reload it. Also, it does get stuck when you switch skin tones and genders (I don't switch those very often).

My other dilemma is the item order in which items appear. It's never really the same each time you load a different screen (for example, show 100 items vs show 250 items, it's never the same items and some items appear again on the next page).

Otherwise, most of the complaints made by others works fine for me (color search, item search, both item + color search, moving layers, category specific searches, etc).

I still love beta but I know it needs to be worked on more. I use it daily so I've grown accustomed to using it. I don't dare use the old wardrobe.

My biggest complaints are:

• The sort by name doesn't work. Ever.
• When you're viewing "All items on Subeta", it doesn't actually show you all the items. You can click on the next page, and it'll show you items that were on the previous one (this is probably related to how the name sorting feature doesn't work). There have been times when I knew there was an item in a certain layer that I didn't own and didn't know the name of it, and I went through all the items in all the pages of that layer, and it wasn't there because of this messed up page/sort-ment/idek what's going on.
• Random items that aren't supposed to be in the warbrobe are there (I stg I've seen pumpkins in there)
• If you load an outfit and try to change it, it'll tell you that you don't have enough slots on whatever layer, because it's adding the items from the HA you were wearing to the one you just loaded. Good luck trying to save it.
