I'm - like every single year - simply smitten with all the fancy food and drinks in the Libertine Lounge! Seriously, the lounge is my favorite part of Masq, I just love the details and the creativity behind all the tasty stuff, and I always get hungry when I visit the shop. Amazing job, artists! I feel though that this year they don't have as much stuff as the two years before which is a little sad. Will the lounge get a second wave of items this year, too? That would be awesome!
Unfortunately no. Amber answered this in the news comments of the second wave of menagerie items. It's just unfortunate because now my gourmand has eaten every item in the lounge and I don't have to care about it anymore this year. :/ They should do 2 lounge waves and 2 menagerie waves, not 1 lounge wave and 3 menagerie waves. I get it, wearables are more popular, I like wearables as much as the next person, but jeeze.
Aw. :c Yep, I'd be for two waves of food in favor of three waves of clothing, too. I mean, I love the menagerie stuff. But the lounge food looks superb, is amazing tc fodder and is one of the best not-too-pricy sources for gourmand pets - I wouldn't want to see that reduced.
Dang = there's hardly ever anything in the clothes shop I want, but at least this means I can stop holding back on buying the food. Once I have all that I can stop bothering to dance P= so that's something. Come on Raikov, time to stuff your face.
Libertine Lounge always get screwed over, I'm not even surprised.
The Lounge needs more, always. :(
Goku hasn't eaten everything out of the lounge yet. I need to become unlazy and feed them to him but I've bought everything. The only thing left is to exchange some of my over 11k trinkets for Steamworks ones. Probably will buy another set of the Illumis themed drinks for TC fodder. Gods know I will have more than enough. lol

Shame it seemingly gets ignored over the menagerie every year. There is a ton of food and drink ideas that could go in there.
Like these

I would love some more food too :c I'm going for 6k gourmand, but I stopped caring after I hit 5k so any easy way to get food is nice haha
Ugh I always wish for more lounge food and drink beyond the first wave, but the menagerie always gets all the love :(
Looking at previous years in the lounge, this year has been the least amount of stock released. Very sad 😢
More weird ass wearables (Tentacle Ribbons?! Really?) in multiple colors instead of things to eat. :(
I like how at least all of them are unique items (some of the years have sets of recolors). Though I wouldn't mind if recolors were added to bulk up this year's small stock (even though that's very unlikely, I know). I mean there's only so much that a gradual trinket price hike can solve. :C
I think that is the most fustrating aspect of all. According to the wonderful folks at Subetalodge, the breakdown for the Menagerie is
Books: 7 items Stickers: 8 items Beanbags: 5 items Plushies: 5 items Minions: 7 items
and
Clothing: 129 items
Compared to The Libertine Stock which is 32 items.
Honestly, I find it so difficult to comprehend why less wearables can't be released, and more attention given to the Lounge/Non Wearables sections.
Are we really unable to live without
Only 5 plushies/beanbags is just dumb.
As are those boots.
... no really though. The Lounge ALWAYS gets the short end, and the stuff we get is usually.. idk. I miss, MISSSSS the years when we got a large amount of subetamockup alcoholic beverages :c
Now we get a few punch things, and I go "well... I guess I'll wait until Alegarten!" and then we get 5 beers and 400 wears and I make sad faces and go back to ignoring the site because otherwise I'll get flashbacks to the years where the only things we got were wearables and like 1 book if we were damn lucky.
And, I might add, that judging by the amount people are complaining about not being able to dance enough to even get all of the new stuff-- it makes me feel like having more than 5 other things, a small handful of food, and 130 wearables might make events better for everyone :'D Everyone wants to participate for their vice verses most people dancing 1 day than being done and wandering off and the poor wear collectors dancing endlessly and still not getting everything.
I always look forward to the lounge food and drinks but I feel like every year we get less and less, it's just a shame
I always adore the clothing in the Menagerie, but also love the Lounge and would happily spend trinkets in there, too. It'd definitely be the best of both worlds :)
2010: 100 (39 recolors) 2011: 54 (17 Recolors) 2012: 43 (13 Recolors) 2013: 93 (15 recolors) 2014: 62 (21 Recolors (15 if you don't count the Crudite Bites)) 2015: 32 (0 Recolors)
While the number of items has significantly reduced, the percentage of unique items has gone up. I still don't understand why there is so much less focus on the Lounge
[edit] FORUM POINT WOOOOOOOOOO
Does the fact that they're recolors actually make a difference to anyone though? I would rather have more food items, recolors or not. Especially since I want them mainly just for gourmand because I cba to hunt down another 1000 foods and I need all the help I can get. But like does it really matter that much to people if they're unique?
