What does your pets do? Have a cat that likes to tear up your stuff? Or a bird that steals your stuff? Maybe a rabbit that likes to tear up all of the newspaper and make a huge mess?

I'd love to hear some stories~

Our dog, Mocha, loves people. Adores them. Every stranger that comes into our house is his new buddy.

But he's the biggest crap-head when it comes to dogs, despite being a small pom-daschound

Our neighbors have two large guard dogs and our yards are seperated by a fence. Every time Mocha goes down in the yard, he rushes towards the fence, barking, which pissed off the neighbor dogs.

When the guard dogs rush down and start barking, and fighting with each other, Mocha goes back to casually sniffing the ground or to mom.

What a lil crap. |D;;;

I have a giant Golden Retriever/Husky/Lab mix named Winston. He is quite the character...

For irritating he likes to wail like a banshee in the morning for absolutely no reason. It's a mix of howling and crying at the same time. He always comes in to work with me everyday so I have no idea why he does this in the morning when I'm RIGHT THERE IN THE ROOM WITH HIM making my lunch for work and eating breakfast. The minute I look at him he stops for a moment and starts again. It's been going on for a while now, I even tried howling back at him and he then tries to strike up a conversation with me.

For funny he has a crazy obsession with light reflections and laser pointers. His obsession is probably worse than anything I have ever seen in my life. He will chase the little fleck of light FOREVER and try and eat it. He will also make sure that nothing can get in his way and will knock everything in the path between him and his little lit up moving prize over. When you put it away or there's no longer any light he will still look for it for hours... ^^;;

I love him to death regardless, he's my big baby.

I have a cat who is fascinated with the ice machine on the refrigerator. Every-time somebody uses the crushed ice setting he perks up and sprints on over to the area. When they leave he will get on his hind legs and swat any pieces of ice left in the tray onto the floor, just cause haha.

This same cat has a touch of asmtha when he over exherts himself. So sometimes when overplaying with da bird toy he will start panting like a dog with his tongue out. Hilarious and concerning all at once.

My mother has a priss cat who is obsessed with jumping into the bathtub and begging for water from the tap. This happens constantly throughout the day. She will not drink water any other way.

my cats like to eat everything then poo everywhere. whenever you move they think they're being fed so they follow you and trip you up.

my eldest cat has just learnt how to open the fridge and has decided he likes eating cheese even though he's lactose intolerant. he also used to poo in the bath but now he's not allowed in the bathroom

Sometimes when petting my cat, her tongue will stick out and stay there for a while. I don't know why she does that or why or how long it happens for but it just happens. She always purrs when she's near the people she loves. Then her meows turn into these undecipherable squeaks like she's trying too hard to meow but she's purring too hard, and her eyes are slanted just staring at you. She's just so happy.

Stella (on the right) drinks water with her paw, and almost always has. Simba (on the left) suddenly started doing it about two years ago. He's also peed in the toilet twice. He's quite observant.

My cat does a number of irritating things, although they are somewhat endearing and aren't meant to be spiteful or mean. I'm pretty sure she does most of them out of affection. For the most part, she likes to hoard laundry. She's obsessed with taking my boyfriend's clothes, regardless of what it is. If it's missing, I know to look in her stash under the bed or nightstand. She's taken his socks, shorts, underwear,a belt, and shirts. She'd likely take his pants too if they weren't so heavy. For some reason, she only likes to take my underwear.

Another thing she likes to do is 'cry' when she feels lonely. Which is whenever her toys are nowhere to be found, and we have left the room. This cry is significantly louder and of a deeper tone than her usual noises. So much so that my sister thought I had gotten a second cat when she first heard it. As a kitten, she never made a sound. I had to put a collar with a bell on it so we could hear her if she was nearby just so that we wouldn't accidentally step on her. Now? All she does is purr and meow when she sees people then try to trip them in her excitement.

The hedgehog mostly just sleeps, but she eats her food around 4 to 6 in the morning, like clockwork, because I had to get up at 6 for school. She got used to my alarm going off at 6am five days a week and would even try to wake me about that time on weekends by shuffling her food and water bowls around.

My parrotlet, Kiwi, likes to tear up kitchen roll/toilet paper/my bills/etc. You would think that he's so small so he can't do much damage but you would be wrong. He's also obsessed with bells, he goes mad over them.

He also likes the mimic people when they laugh and he's also learnt to mimic the buzzer to my door. He knows quite a few words as well.

My downstairs neighbor confronted me a week after we moved in because I "walk too much while getting ready for work in the morning" and walk around too much in general. Welllll... my cats have developed this new routine of stampeding around the apartment every night at 9pm, 4am (when my husband leaves for work) and 6 am (when I get up for work). They literally stampede. All 3 of them and it lasts like, a good half hour. Back and forth back and forth up and down the cat trees up and down the cat trees on the bed off the bed THUMP THUMP THUMP. I'm not even sure she knows I have cats so I'm terrified of leaving/coming back to the apartment because she's such a bitch, she had a problem with my walking?! How about stampedes?!In fact they just started it up again. Run run run.

I've tried everything, "calming treats"- makes them more hyper! Tried playing with them before bed- nope! Tried locking them out of the bedroom which made them scratch the carpet/bed.

I don't feel too badly though because she's obnoxious and plays terrible music at 10000 decibels every day and night, stopping only to scream at people on the phone and never ever leaves the apartment.

My one cat also loves plastic and eats bags so I have to keep them away from her -.-

For irritating: My parakeets REFUSE to eat fruits and veggies. One of them will actually angrily fling any and all fruit/veggie offerings out of their seed dish.

Funny: After my dog finishes drinking water, she will go and wipe both sides of her mouth on the couch. :P

My pug acts like she's the toughest thing whenever someone comes over. Her bark is scary too, so you would never expect to come from a pug. In reality, she's a huge baby. She won't go outside alone, is scared of the dark, and cries when my mom leaves the house.

Now for irritating... My cat is 16, and her breath smells like death. She insists on laying next to me in bed (I'm allergic) and breathes onto my face. Also, she leaves her nails out 95% percent of the time. You know when she's coming down the hallway because you can hear her rip her nails out of the carpet as she walks. She also likes to eat her food too fast even though she knows it makes her throw up if she doesn't take her time.

I also have a senegal parrot who squawks all the time. I feel bad for him because he just squawks because he wants my dad to pay attention to him, but you think he would have shut up after 20+ years.

We also got a new pug puppy a month ago, and, well, she's busy being a puppy. She just likes to bit everything and everyone no matter how loud they scream in pain.

Here's the older pug (3), Macie:

And here's the puppy, Lulu, when we first got her:

My cat likes to walk around the house screaming for food after I put down a plate of his food. He doesn't touch it for a while and screams but he eventually eats it.

I've tried different brands and flavours, he just does it to every thing.

My dog has somehow managed to teach my cat how to beg for food. My dog is four and my cat is seven, and before the dog came my cat wouldn't ever do it. But now they both will sit there and stare at me as I eat.. but the thing that makes my cat begging worse than my dog is that my dog will at least keep his distance. The cat will literally get all up in my face, stepping on my legs, sniffing at me, sometimes even pawing at me. He's even once or twice gone as far as pawing AT MY FOOD!! He also loves artificial cheese. If he smells like.. cheetos, or cheese crackers, he'll stick his head in the bag or box.

I have a lovely Golden Retriever. And he is a big baby. An example of this is when he refuses to go outside (which is most of the time), and when I say something about taking him outside, he will drop and roll over my feet, all the while giving the saddest expression of all time to persuade me not to (he does look cute though).

Or there are these times when he will get so excited that he will suddenly go into "torpedo mode", basically meaning that he will run really fast all over the place, knocking everything in the way over, including people (it really hurts), and doesn't care if he hurts himself in the process.

Ah well, despite all the trouble he brings, I'll always love that golden bundle of fluff.

My budgie just learned to say "Baby Bird" - a phrase he has come to love so much he says it all the time. When I taught him the phrase I had no idea it would become so incessant, as he doesn't say any of the other phrases he knows as much as that one. He has a thing with plastic bottles, and will bite if you try to put the lid back on them. He is really into only coming to sit on you to poop - luckily they are easily wiped off, but it's still gross. Furthermore, he gets jealous if I have someone over and he doesn't get to come out to meet them (and/or poop on them), and his way of begging is to squish his face against the bars of the cage and/or gnaw on them really loudly until I let him out. Fortunately most of my guests are okay with meeting him.

I love that little winged butthole so much.

Oh gosh, Jake is a character.

Something that is irritating about him is that he is so submissive. Nobody can come home from a day of school or work (or any company for the matter) and greet him with a friendly pet. He gives off the body language that he is submissive by cowering and then peeing all over the floor. But once he gets that over with, he is super hyper and friendly and wants to play with you. Idk much about his history other than the fact that he went to the shelter, was adopted, but then returned before being adopted by my family. You can imagine that we let him outside before we pet him now bahaha. He is also a heck of a barker when it comes to other dogs. Idk if he is just barking at dogs or if he is dog aggressive so I try to be careful with him on walks and whatnot. But seriously, he has such a "big dog" bark but he is just a small corgi. xD

What's funny about him is that he likes to make random noises as if he is trying to have a conversation with you. He also tries to show off to company in the house by chasing his stub of his tail. And every time my mom grabs the box of Cheez Its, Jake literally flips out and won't leave her alone until she gives him some. He only comes running downstairs when he hears that box being opened, it is crazy how he can distinguish the sound of a Cheez It box from other foods lol.

I have laughed so hard at all of your pet stories. XD

I have a senior cat that thinks he's a professional at parkour. He literally runs as fast and as hard as he can at a wall and then jumps about 4' feet up the wall and launches himself off of it. Sometimes if he's near a corner he will jump off one wall onto the other and then fling himself across the room.

He bangs his food bowls together if one of them is empty so that someone will come fill them and if we ignore him for any amount of time he will turn into a little shit and start doing everything he knows he isn't suppose to do.

He knows he is not allowed in the kitchen and he will sit with his little toes scootched riiiiight up to the spot where the living room carpet turns into kitchen linoleum. If we get on the phone or play a video game he thinks we aren't paying attention any more and will just waltz in there like he owns the place.

We also have a sugar glider and occasionally she confuses fingers for food. She'll bite down and then immediately lick the spot she bit like... "OH! That's a finger. Sorry! So sorry!" It's too cute.

One of my cats, Emma, likes to lay in front of my computer monitor and half on my arm when I'm trying to do anything on the computer. She lays there and purrs and rolls onto her back and stares at me, meowing if I don't pay attention to her right away. She and my other cat, Holly, both like to play with plastic bags. They sleep on them, dive into them, and Holly chews on them. Then Holly will also jump up on my mom to have 'hold-me-time' and she will also sit by my dad's chair and bawl at the top of her lungs until he pets her. When he does pet her, she falls over and rolls on the floor (where he can't reach her) and then she realizes she isn't getting petted anymore and gets up to start bawling again. This can go on for hours. They don't really do anything irritating...they're too damn cute for me to get annoyed at.

My cat in the morning and at night needs to be hand fed, she sits by her bowl meowing the most cutest and pitiful little mews, until you go over. I sit next to her and pick up kibble and she eats one piece at a time out of my hands, then I get lazy and just pour the rest into my palm and she eats it that way. She also plays with my round eos chapstick, steals broken hairbands and gets CRACKY. Or she will peek out of the very top of my blinds while on her tree... She is just so weird and so cute! She snores, crys like a baby.. just ugh I love her.
