Hehe.. my dog will come into my room and sit right next to my bed near my face in the mornings, waiting for me to wake up. I'll wake up and he'll just be There, just waiting. He even makes lil "boofs" at me if he REALLY wants me to get up already. Dogs are too cute.
I got two cats from my room mates when they moved. These cats love to lick plastic bags. They even taught the cat I already had to do it. She never did before. Now they all sit by the trash can or any other bag, and just lick and nibble it for ages. Weirdos.
They're also all super chill cats, which is new for me. I used to have cats that would all maul you if you touched them wrong. The chillest one is big, black, and athletic, like a mini panther, but she doesn't realize she has any power. If you come after her to catch her, (if she's outside, which she LOVES, and wants to always be outside and NEVER go back in, but she's not allowed out alone...) she hardly even tries to run away. She just yells. She doesn't seem to know she can easily outrun a human, or defeat one in battle.
My cat is, for want of a better phrase, a big boy, and for whatever reason, he always feels a need to find the ideal spots to bottleneck in hallways. Once, when we were cleaning, there was a really narrow passageway between two rooms because of all the cleaning stuff we had in the hall, and he planted himself dead center, rolled over on his back, and batted at the feet of anyone who tried to walk over him. It was kind of adorable, but then my mom tripped over him and it was not pretty.
THIS asshole, Dan, I love this jerk. When he's mad after not getting his way, he anger-barfs. He yells at me for wet food. He yells at his dad for attention. He hates his brother. He beats up his little sister. THIS furry bowling ball, Marvin, is an extreme shedder. And he bites. And he jumps onto my ribs. HE IS SIXTEEN POUNDS! Also...he ate a price sticker I peeled off and sat on the desk. THIS is my baby kitten Rudy. She is the neediest cat. She licks my face in my sleep. Sleeps on my head or throat. CRIES whenever I do anything. Is always on the desk when I'm trying to get work done. Steals pens, hairties, paper, jewelry.
My youngest cat loves to meow. Sometimes I swear he only does it because he likes the sound of his own voice. Then at some ungodly hour he'll wake up and start howling at the the door at the top of the stairs because he wants it open (he have to keep him downstairs with me at night because of my oldest cat whom he picks on). He also comes in to my room in the middle of the night and sits on my chest and starts rubbing his face against me, and he does it really hard. I mean, I love him dearly, but being smothered at four in the morning isn't exactly ideal.
My oldest cat (whom we jokingly call 'granny' because she's 17), is the biggest mooch. She could be in a dead sleep, but if she thinks she hears a can open she'll go into the kitchen wanting food. She also thinks she's entitled to her food at any time of the day at any hour. We love her, of course, but she is very stubborn and demanding.
My crazy cat has the most:
My tortishell cat Mika growls at people and cars when looking out the window. When she wants water she cries at the sink. Then ends up with water all over her head from attempting to drink it. If you fling droplets of water at her she tries to catch them with her mouth. Forget taking a bath alone, she just sits there and watches you. Sometimes she even drinks out of the tub. This has ended badly for her a few times.(She'll fall in then freak out) The in the middle of the night: OMG PAY ATTENTION TO ME times. Mika I'm sleeping go away...
Ella one of my ferrets likes to groom her babies.(the stuffed animals shes adopted)
I've got two pets. One is a dog, half Husky, half Pitt Bull, that's a bag full of stupid on the average day (though he's super sweet). Very jumpy and loud, because husky. And without a special harness, he can literally rip your arm out of socket on a leash. I'm not even kidding. And he digs holes and knocks over his water bucket and is generally a big ball of derp.
My cat is...kinda special too I suppose. I tend to collect the special ones. She's a beautiful Tonkinese and she's the most loving, sweet little creature on the planet. She just doesn't understand how her claws work and tends to get them stuck in carpet and couches and bed sheets while attempting to walk across them. It's HILARIOUS. She's also a pillow hog and will slowly kick you off of your pillow while you sleep.
