Whats the hardest course that you took in college? For me its chemistry.
I've been at college for just one year so I don't have much courses to choose from, but if I had to pick one it'd be discrete mathematics hands down. It's like every exercise is resolved in a completely different way that everything you did before, and you need to have every theorem and property you learned in you life on the head at the same time. I hated that thing.
oh personally I found chemistry to be one of the easiest ones for me. Although it's kinda useless in my career so we don't see anything with much deep, so maybe that's why it wasn't that bad. But everyone different facilities in different subjects so it's understandable. I may be good with numbers, but give me a text only book and I'm completely lost :'D
Oh god, either Organic Chemistry or Physics. The former was fun but overwhelmingly difficult, the latter one of the more confusing and frustrating things I've ever been through. Our teacher was way too smart to teach, and his tests were nothing at all like what we studied. But I definitely understand! Chemistry isn't the easiest thing, unless you're a non-science major... in which case it's usually a joke. Of course, this is my personal experience at my university, and I'm definitely not speaking for everyone! It's fun to see how different people have such different experiences.
❤️ ? Flower?
Psych tests and measurements. It was a whole new level of statistics in which you had to know which branch of psych used which statistical measurement, as well as being able to adapt certain formulas to the branch and turn qualitative data into quantitative .-.
For me it was definitely Chem. My high school was ill-equipped to prepare me for such a science-based college and my knowledge of the topic was lightyears behind my classmates. I managed to pass my Chem Lab probably only because my friend was my lab partner and she went to a high school that actually prepared her for 80% of the course material. My high school didn't even allow Bunsen Burners or hotplates letalone any of the fancy equipment you use in college courses. But dear god the Chem Lecture? Forget it. I was SOL with that professor. Every friday was a 10-minute quiz with questions that would take me 10 minutes just to get halfway through the calculations and there was never any assigned homework, making studying that much harder. (Though the Professor is now required to assign such work, after numerous complaints from the student body in regards to how brutal her course was)
i'm only on my second year but Statistics class was the absolute WORST. math just won't stay in my head anymore... @-@
stochastic processes x_x thankfully the prof was awesome so it made the course a lot more bearable.
I'm not done with college but occidental history and sociology was a pain in the ass.
Developmental biology... it's interesting, but I hate cell signalling pathways, and there's so many.

Math for Nursing. That's why I'm not a nursing major anymore
I took Calculus I back when I attended my state's university and it was horrible. It was a lot tougher there than it is at the college I attend now. But it doesn't matter cause I switched majors and don't even need it anymore. xD Other than that, accounting has been stressful. I took Financial accounting last semester and now I'm taking Managerial.
My boyfriend took a discrete mathematics class last year. He didn't like it either and is glad to be out of it, haha.
My hardest course in college was philosophy. I took it because I really enjoy thinking about such things and discussing them, and I thought, you know...philosophy, everyone's allowed to have their own opinions on it, right? But no, the professor was a douche who only thought his opinion counted. I think it probably would have been enjoyable with a different professor, but he was the only one who taught it.
It's a toss up between Statistics and History of the Earth. Statistics would've have been a lot easier had the professor actually taught us to do the work step by step. Especially since most of the class had no clue how to use the z-score and t-score charts he gave us. He actually did those steps for us in class, told us not to worry about it, then assigned us homework to find z-scores and t-scores all the time. I ended up using an online tool to do my homework and just gave up trying to get correct answers on the exam.
History of the Earth was awful. I'm great at geology, but I have never been able to work backwards. We basically started at the beginning of the rock record and worked our way forward, learning the different processes that deposited different rock layers and types of sediment in different areas.
3D animation. I broke everything every time, and not even the teacher could figure out what I was doing wrong. It's a good thing I can draw, because if I'm going to animate, it's not going to be in 3D.
I think my hardest classes were a couple of upper level English literature courses. I got behind with reading and discussion and things never got better... I couldn't finish some assignments due to anxiety issues and just dreaded every day of class or every email with the instructors. Soooo glad that's in the past now.

The hardest course for me while I was in college was Medical billing and coding; the reason for this is because I had a total of 5 books that I had to keep switching back and forth from and trying to remember all the codes was a pain in the booty..
<3 <3 <3<3
I think mine has to be calculus 2. I'm still in college so that might change lol.
Organic Chemistry, hands down. The only class I've ever failed.
Chemistry here too, by a mile. I was an English major but I went to a community college before I went to university that required all kinds of general education classes D Stressful and not terribly useful, what a combination.

For me it's more of the hardest college I took... I spent an awful, tear-filled semester at CTU. The Czech Technical University is the oldest technical uni in Central Europe and one of the two biggest and best-sounding universities in the country. I studied IT in high school and wanted to continue my studies, so CTU felt like the best, most noble choice. That school completely ripped me. I passed only half of my courses. The Basics of Mathematical Analysis and Programming and Algorhytmisation 1 were the worst for me. I felt completely drained. Afterwards I always said that it felt like I've been washed in the washing machine and dried in the dry-cleaner. Nothing hurts quite as much as shattered dreams.
Anyway, right now I'm in the middle of my fourth semester at the University of Economics getting a degree in Informatics, and I'm almost okay with what happened. I belong in here way more than the CTU. The hardest course here so far was the mandatory Economics 1. Both macro and microeconomics in one course, unannounced minitests, point limit to get to the final oral exam and the exam itself - it was crazy! Took me two tries :)
