Hey guys, we need to figure out which path we want to take. I know that Cheshire is leaning towards the easier Traveller, while I really want Adventurer. I think Wolfy said Adventurer too, but I'm not sure. Please weigh in!

I prefer a slower pace. But if the rest of you are OK picking up my slack then Adventure mode is fine. Not that I won't be trying my best to keep pace.

Since we talked and cleared up my likely sporadic-ness, I'm in. I'll happily help however I can. And who knows, maybe the event will skip around my crazy times. :)

I'm happy with either route. I'll try and pick up any slack though I'm not sure how much time I can give I'll certainly try and help as much as I can. Either way, I'm game.

Hey guys been a while since this board saw any action, but i thought I should let you guys know that I will be making a new character for this team. My character's name will be Nelel and she will come from the Borderfolk, I think it would be for the best given her "Less then legal earning method"

I actually have a pet based on the guy I will be using. There is some basic info on his page if you are interested in taking a look. Venom Think he falls under the Borderfolk category..? Primary class type would be warrior.

This sounds like a good chance to introduce or re-introduce our characters. I won't use last year's description as it was much too long. Quercus is a Seelie. She grew up in a forest filled with magic and is part magic herself. She can't cast but she has plants living within her and can 'hear' the surrounding countryside. Plants do communicate with her and she can detect creatures even if she can't see them. That's not say she can't be surprised but she's pretty good at knowing what's going on. She also has a higher defense than most as the plants help protect and reinforce her. This means she can take a beating better than most, not that she's invulnerable. She's pretty good with natural medicens for the same reason. She's a ranger and shoots with a bow made from wyvern hide. She hunted and killed the wyvern as a youngster so it had some personal meaning. She didn't wish to leave home but was chosen and had to go. She's been looking for her new home ever since as that's what her people do to get new members in settlements. Quercus is open, honest and friendly. Her people always are and she finds it hard to understand when people hide what they're feeling. She's traveled enough to learn not to do it but still has some strange habits. She can come across as brutally honest or rude as she tends to be direct. She can seem to be trying deliberately to cause embarrassment as she tries to understand why things are the way they are. She doesn't mean it though and is a loyal friend once you win her trust. She can hold a grudge though and be rather unforgiving if someone betrays her but her happy nature normally means she'll forgive you. Where ever Quercus goes, her two dearest friends, Tipper and Star Eye go too. Tipper is red vixen. She's a little on the shy side and likes to stick close to Quercus. She's friendly enough and probably more forgiving than Quercus but takes longer to trust. Star Eye is a small songbird packed with personality. Always ready with a smart answer or a sarcastic remark, she'll take on anything and is the scout for the party. The three work as a team and dislike to be apart from one another.

Most of this is on our SL thread, under basics. I'll repost my bit about Jean and Sihr, though.

Jean, the de facto leader of the Fellowship, is friendly and quite observant. This comes in handy for detecting traps, which she is reasonably good at disarming. She knows a spell for light, has a long knife for fighting, but prefers not to fight. She's swift and fairly agile, with basic knowledge in first aid and a good amount of survival skills. As a Vagabond, her skills are varied, with making do with what she has being her strong suit. She'd much rather help than harm.

Jean also has a little companion, a tiny faeling named Sihr. Sihr (pronounced sear, like to burn) is only five inches tall and extremely shy. Her short fur is a very pale grey, with darker hair and ruffs. She speaks mind-to-mind, but cannot read people's thoughts. She is able to limit who hears her, however, picking and choosing among those in her limited range. Sihr is magic-sensitive, so she's able to detect magic, and she also possesses the ability of flight -- very useful for one so small.

You get a ton more points with Adventurer over the other route...I really want to try for as many points as possible.

I want to do adventurer, but I have to let you guys know that I just got a job, and I'm very busy, and I'm worn out when I'm not working.

I will go with the majority, I think. I'm /pretty/ sure I can manage Adventurer.

It's worth a try to be sure. Do you think it's worth checking with Rowan if, due to circumstance, we can swap classes? I think she already said it wouldn't be possible but I can't recall for sure.
