Alright, V, that's fine. I understand completely. I'm still adjusting to work myself.

I'm nervous. I'm always nervous. Just want to get this started so we can get going and I can stop being so jittery! REALLY hope I can figure out exactly what the judges are looking for this year. Last year I felt very lost as to what they expected from us. Especially along the lines of the HA dress up. I am way more terrible at steam-punk than I thought I was...

Also it looks like I missed a bit of conversation. Wolf is going to be a fairy with wings now? But also a mage? Sort of feels like dipping toes into the mary-sue category to me. Does it matter / will it even come up during the plot? I mean, she is already incredibly powerful. Seems like an unnecessary addition from my point of view. Then again it isn't my character so I guess my opinion doesn't really matter XD

I'm new to the fast paced plan myself, but I think we can manage it. We have a great team to work with. ♥

Don't worry. I was worried last year too that I wouldn't be able to do a good job but I ended up having a wonderful time. Give it a try. I'm sure you'll make a wonderful protector. ^_^

Would you like me to ask Rowan if we can talk to the judges? Maybe get some tips? I know one of the teams did so last time. That might help us out. I think any theme is open to interpretation. Steampunk is no different. I thought your HA designs were wonderful.

no no giggles I thought we had to choose one of the three types that Rowan suggested. Turns out that that's only for people that don't have a deveolped character XD I won't be transforming...yet anyway XD

Subeta has some old steampunk wings from Masque, and there's those metal bug wings from the recent collection. Maybe some others, I dunno....goes to look

I managed to find one called the Brass Steam-Wing kit that I think would work. Another is the Curved Brass Bar.

I asked Rowen if we could ask the judges for advice and here's the answer I got: I will be glad to pass the question along for you, provided it is one that can be answered for ALL players on the Q&A thread that will be set up.

If you want any type of personal single character advice, I suggest you try one of the folks that know how Subeta as well as the Wayward Squirrel work, and have volunteered to help. In this case, I'd recommend Crash, Shadow_Rose_Thorn, Amdir-tithen and/or Turokai.

I was a warrior in years past, as well as team captain last year for my team, in fact, Turokai was also on my team. This year my schedule doesn't allow for me to put a ton of focus on the event, so I'm taking a back seat and just helping out. I am available for questions so please feel free to ask anytime. I will respond on forums, in comments, or in sMail :)

And Jabber was on my team in both of the previous events, so she can vouch for me as well, lol.

I ran an Alchemist/professor in the last adventures (I love puzzles and cryptograms), though I could probably help with mage and thief questions as well as basic RP questions. (just don't ask me to sing..., bard skills are right out!) Like , my inability to be on-line reliably during the event would make me a liability for a team this time around. but I'll be happy to help out with questions wherever I can. nope. I don't mind the anthro look but I am and will forever be feral :P Oh I won't be changing my abilities...at least not what's important anyway. There will be some changes though that will be pretty drastic in other ways, though ;) I just won't be saying anything more about it as it's a surprise...only if the opportunity presents itself...and I certainly hope it does...eyes shine with excitement

The feedback I got from the judges was that they liked outfits that put thought into the environment/scenario they were in. For example, My ambassador was supposed to be from the wild lands to the north, so I made sure his cape, boots and gloves were all fur lined as well as regal looking with a slight military edge. Since his supposed nieces were all pure elves, I shaved Kenny's beard (had him grumble about it a bit too) and put a fancy piece of ear jewelry on that hid his smaller 1/2 elf ears.
