The lands were simply beautiful—the gardens were immaculate, and incredibly pleasing to the eye, being created and groomed by the most powerful and noblest beings of nature and magic. The entire area was serene and at the height of spring, despite the fact that calendars indicated that it was still winter. People with exceptional and highly superior hearing can make out the sounds of waterfalls somewhere in the distance. If you could get past the Black Pearl Gates, you would soon find the marble stone walkways that led the path towards the Court house. Court house? The building was larger and far more elegant than most palaces.
Made of indestructible stone and of course more marble, the incredibly large building was in the colors of cream, the lightest blue, ebony black and ivory white. The cream marble steps led up to large double doors intricately carved with aspects of nature as well as Goddesses and Gods of Justice, Speech, Truth and Lies. The symbols and runes on the doors glowed with power and many recognized a few of them as Ancient Egyptian, Celtic, Atlantean and so on, and many swore that the deities, creatures, symbols, tress etc actually moved and looked at the people that stood in front of it or passed by. Who stood sentry before these elaborate doors? Superbly armored Centaurs and Valkyries stood guard, ready to act faster than the blink of an eye. It was more of added protection, however, as only ones of the highest caliber and noblest of bloodlines could even be able to see this place. In fact, the very lands and Court House seemed to be part of a continent that changed its entire location several times—at one point, it was deep in the Seelie kingdom, and the next it was an ocean away from the realm of a famed Vampire Queen.
The ones allowed to see and enter this scared place were of course, royal and nobles—Monarchs, members of the Peerage, Lords and Ladies of all races—humans, vampires, lycanthropes, Seelie and Unseelie (all variety of elves), Fey, Demons, Dragonborne, Angels, Fallen Angels, Demi-gods…the list went on, but the fact remained that thee had to be the crème de la crème to get in.
Now, for the court rooms themselves, the rooms (which were simply far too many to count properly, as some were in different dimensions) were grand and exquisite, with high ceilings that depicted scenes that the Sistine Chapel, Versailles, Mt. Olympus and many Baroque Palaces would wish to have. The Judges’ seats were on High, beautifully decorated balconies, where they could lounge if they wished and still be heard if they willed it. The Court House held one of the largest, most exquisite and extensive libraries in several realms (some would argue the universe, but royals tend to dramatize and exaggerate from time to time).
The audience and the jury had high seats that circled around in a design quite similar to the Roman Coliseum. It was arranged that way so that the Barristers and Attorneys could, indeed, “Have the Floorâ€, so to speak. It was known as their stage, after all. The bailiffs were usually stunning and elegant, yet formidable and powerful Gargoyles that retained tall and gorgeous, more “humanoid†forms which included their magnificent wings, horns and varying skin tones of purple, gray, silver etc.
As the people of the court were Aristocrats, breaks for food, gossip, tea and the frivolity of the Judges were obviously allowed. Servants and chefs abounded here and if the rulers, Lords and Ladies wished to bring their own, that was also permitted. Of course, they were also served tea and desserts during the trials as well. Ones such as they should not go without as if they were peasants. There were also palaces, manors, villas, chateaus and highly exclusive and elegant hotels for the beings that had extended stays on the continent, either out of delight, or long trials.
Monarchs and kingdoms were destroyed, allies and enemies were made, justice was served, and wars were started or ended within the hallowed and well decorated halls of this Court. Truly, it was only for the rulers, the royals, the Aristocrats.
Okaaaay…..I’m sure that was long enough and yet also the shortest thing I have ever written at the same time XD (This flu/cold is making me lose my touch, Ladies and Lords. GASP) Doth this suit your needs, my dears?
Now……time for pings! (Again XD)
(in case you want to join in and have another excuse for dressing up and rping before the events of this month)
(Once more I say, I know roleplays are not your cup of tea, so I do not pressure thee to join in, but if you want to you can, or you can peek in, read here and there and say hello ^_^)

"Your Grace...we must announce you. It's customary when being presented to the Empress" the Herald hemmed, glancing anxiously at the new arrival to Court
The Grand Duke raised a sooty eyebrow expectantly.
"Lord Marshall" the Herald amended quickly.
"Excellent, remember Military Rank over Social. Now then, you know who I am, yes?" his mellifluous voice bore only the slightest of accents, only his amber eyes giving away his Efreet heritage
"The Black Goose," came the whispered response
The Marshall smiled at the sobriquet. "Her Imperial Majesty's brother, so we've met a time or two so you really wouldn't be presenting me, would you? One mst be conventional at Court, though so you probably should announce me. Full Honors."
The Herald rapped his staff of office sharply against the marble floor, "Your Imperial Majesty and Lords and Ladies "His Imperial Grace, Lord Marshall of the Armies, Fist of the Queen of Wind and Woe, Duc de Milan, Comte de Bourbon and Protector of the Realm, Sidi ibn Mali, the Black Goose!"

There's a flurry at the entrance, as the Lord Marshall, walks down the stairway.
The Herald quickly hurries over to the door, as it burst inwards in a gust of wind. Striding in, clouds of rainbow sparkles wafting off her, dark matter floating around her, the Herald quickly says, "My Lady! MY LADY! PLEASE! Could you tone down the wind?"
The Lady stops and looks at him, a confused look on her face... "Wind?" she asks, looking around at the debris that was blown in through the door. (the wind had stopped, as soon as she paused) "Really Sir, we're expecting many Aristocrats and Denizens of the Realm, really, this entrance should be swept up and straighten. Lady Lariel will be most upset if she sees this."
She starts to walk off, but the Herald runs up in front of her, making her pause, "Please Lady, Let me announce you..."
"Oh...well, hurry up please, I need a smoke before I take my seat"
The Hearld quickly runs over to the stairs, clears his throat, raps his staff on the floor, "Queen of Wind and Woe, Vessel of the Rainbow, Ruler of Nevermore, Leader of the Space Cadets, Mage of the Silver Legends, Hidden Cake Enabler, The Black Goose's ❤️ 's Queen, Leader of the WAA"

Tripping over the debris.... tsk tsking Lady why did i have to arrive after lady ? Sheesh just cus im a lowly pillow doesn't mean the webby can't arrive in style.
The herald upon hearing my grumbling says i do appologize madam... let me announce you.... Her Ghostly Pillowness The Lady Spiderwebby Aka Webby Ghost has arrived.
Sighing dejectedly as she pushed her glasses up with her clawed finger, Cyroris looked down at the debris left behind from Lady 's wake. "How can you call this a Court House?" She scoffed, "You'll have a list of injury claims and lawsuits piling up if this isn't cleaned up" With a stern glare at the Herald who stood there with a look of panic, Cyroris clapped her hands softly and a servant apparated beside the Dragoness. "Get this cleaned up before more show up. If you let this debris tarnish my Lady Witchy's reputation you will feel my wrath" she hissed at her servant as she turned her attention to the Herald.
Standing tall, Cyroris pulled out her schedule book and waited. The Herald cleared their throat and just before they could speak a peep they were cut off. "The Lady Cyroris." The poor Herald nodded in acknowledgement. "I am the great Lady Witchy's new assistant. Now are you going to announce my entry or will I have to find a more suitable Herald to replace you?" Cyroris tapped her foot as she was stuck impatiently waiting on this oaf of a Herald.
Following the Herald with her eyes Cyroris watched as they squirmed nervously to announce her entrance. "AHEM! Lords and Ladies I present to you, Lady Cyroris, assistant to the Lady Witchy"
With a nod that the Herald did his job, Cyroris made her way into the room.
((OOC: I hope I did ok. First time doing this... xD))
Spring approaches the entrance of the court room and pauses. She has heard all the noble announcements of the finely dressed aristocrats that have preceded her into the building. And not being Brother to the Queen like Lord or as incredibly fine and sophisticated as , she has no fancy title to attach to her name.
Not to spoil the one moment she might get in her lifetime to be announced before the majestic Lady and knowing everyone except for, perhaps, the Herald will know of her mischief, she makes something up on the spot.
It is all she can do to look important as the Herald announces her as the Chief Gardner, and Domestic Engineer of SomewhereAlwaysWarm.
She hopes won't make her re-enter on a better title because that's all she's got right at this moment.
Hollis walked towards the building admiring the grounds and court house building. "So beautiful", she thought.
She stopped for a moment on the walk up to the door way and watched as high borns filed in. She was no royal, but her father owned a strip of shops that were kept in business because of all the lords and ladies in the land. She helped out in the shops making sure they were stocked and kept a neat ledger.
She quickly touched her pocket and felt the crinkle of paper. She had gotten an announcement saying that she was wanted at the Court House, for what she wasn't sure yet. Continuing to the door, she quickly thought how she was going to announce herself. The herald saw her and asked after her name. She quickly spat out "Hollis, Keeper of Ledgers and Apprentice to Mr. Clay Fitzgibbons". The Herald eyed her warily, cleared his throat and announced her.
After her introduction, she walked in and sat down toward the back until someone could tell her what she needed to do and where to go. She saw a few faces that frequented her father's stores like Duke and Queen up front conversing in quiet tones. Her Majesty, Lady was in the front with a few of the advisors. "Probably making sure the details are all there", Hollis thought. She sighed again and fiddled with her braid, a bad habit she picked up when she was nervous.
((OOC: intro done, shrugs not the best, but I like it))
Spring slides over and sits by , glad that she is not the only one who is not completely sure as to the proceedings of the court.
"I wonder how long it will be before they call us in and tell us what we should be doing?" she whispers, glancing at the herald and hoping he won't come over and tap her with a stick for not being silent. Just in case, she pulls out a kerchief and fakes a sneeze so he will think she had a better reason to whisper in the court of the queen.
witchy, whispering to but really darling, a little baileys in our coffee won't hurt the court case at all. It will just relax me.
Looking around, Witchy starts yelling... "Assistant! FAAAABoulous Assistant ! Where are you? Where's my coffee?" Seeing stomping toward the table, she spots right behind her. Jumping, startled that Webby was so close to her, she glowers at Assistant Number 3, and says, "WEBBY! my FAAAABoulous Assistant wytchdancr isn't here with my coffee, yet. Go get me, and the Duke one, before he has to go sit down. And keep an eye out for . His is the first case, or I wouldn't be here so blasted early in the morning."
Glancing around for any of the alex-bots who usually have trays of cheesecake handy, witchy cuddles a little closer to the Duke. "This is going to be a piece of cake" she whispers in his ear.
floats away to find Her Witchyness coffee... runs into a Alexbot and with coffee and fresh rainbow grabs both and heads back to witchy " Here go Rainbows and Coffee!"
The FABulous wytchdancr swishes dramatically through the entrance in her impossible shoes and impeccable style. She pauses briefly at the entrance and stares down her nose in thinly veiled impatience as the Herald scuries around attempting to clear the debris of 's entrance.
"I see that my lady the Queen of Wind and Woe has already arrived." she says with a loaded glance at the detritus scattered throughout the entrance way. "Well please do announce me." she says with a fetching smile and a smoldering glance of her heavily kholed eyes (the FABulous wytchdancr is not at all adverse to flirting in order to further her agenda). "You do know who I am, don't you?" she purrs with a arched eyebrow.
The Herald nods raptly, as if dazed and announces in a cracking voice "The FABuous wytchdacr, Breaker of Hearts assistant to the Queen of Wind Woe." with a purposeful swing of hips, wytchdancr winks at the Herald and saunters to the Witchy's table carrying a leather bag and two drink carriers of coffee.
"My lady," wytchdancr says in a calm yet husky voice. "Here are the briefs on cake feeding on the West Coast as well as coffee with a kick for the entire team. I would have been here sooner but you know hard it is to park a broom at the cafe. My apologies."
"My Dearest Love, Bailey's is for officers reading textbooks in the middle of a firefight, now Jameson is for real soldiers and this of course. handing you a foil wrapped package fragrant with chocolate and green butter, if you have it now you should let Lady drive-erm-fly, double butter batch so this'll sedate a herd of rogue elephants or 1
We weren't flirting*glances around at the ostentaciousness of the Courthouse...didn't have any trouble finding the place, I hope, Lady Dancr. Where is Brigadier ? How can we heckle Lady Prosecutor if our chief Heckler isn't here

As if I would take any food/livations from you. I am not stupid. I wouldn't trust a single thing
Hearing a voice beside her, Hollis looked up from her notebook and saw the speaker was a young female about her age. She leaned toward her and spoke as quietly as possible.
"Oh hi, yes, I agree. Hopefully someone will tell us. I'm tired of sitting here without a clue what is going on. I've been people watching, so that passes the time for now."
She smiled at her and then looked toward the front. A few newcomers had entered while they were talking and she quickly rubbed her eyes to be sure she was seeing correctly. Was that a ghost up there by Queen Witchy? She nudged her seat companion and asked,"Are you seeing what I am? Is that lady up there a ghost?"
"Ahhhhhh, Thank You" , "Oh, and you brought me more Rainbow, What and Excellent Ghostly spy Assistant you are" but this coffee is so borrrrrrring
Hearing the FAAABulous , witchy looks up, and see's her sashaying towards the group.
"Finally!" sighs witchy. Hearing her explanation, she says, "Of Course, DAHHHHHling! I don't understand why that cafe, doesn't let you park in front of the store. They know that you're only going to be there for a minute...or three...I mean, They KNOW You're picking up my coffee. Goodness. But nevermind..." and witchy turns and hands , the regular coffee that WEBBY had gotten her, reaches into her pocket, she also hands him a miniature of Jamesons. While with her other hand, she reaches for the drink that WYTCHDANCR brought, taking an inhalation of vapor, then a small sip... "ahhhhhhh, Just what I needed to start such a poor day"
Looking around her, while WYTCHDANCR and converse over the briefs at the table, Witchy spys and in the seats. Giving a little wave of her hand at them, she turns to her 3 assistants, and asks... "I see Mr Fitzgibbons Assistant, The Keeper of Ledgers, HOLLIS, here, and she seems to be talking with the Head Gardner, The Domestic Engineer of SomewhereAlwaysWarm, SPRINGJOY... what's up with that? Do you think they have any information about these trail cases? We didn't get their names for our witness list, did we? Is this something we should be worried about, ladies?" and she frowns slightly at the 3 ASSISTANTS.
Turning back to the Black Goose, Witchy takes the package from him, and puts it into one of her endless pockets (package and pocket seems to disappear) "Thank You, my Darling... ah-heem... I mean, Thank you dear Sir. I'll save it for later. maybe 30minutes from now, and make sure I have a ride home" smiles up at HABEEBI and gives him a quick kiss on the cheek. looking quickly around, did Lady see?
"You know my darlings...If the Prosecutor doesn't show up, the case will be thrown out of court, that means, that can have all the cake he wants, at any time he wants."
would you like me to talk to them? What questions would you like me to ask? Do you have a list? and do you have question lists in your files for the Witchyness?
Cyroris looks up at from her case files as her queen asked about the jurors. Taking off her black rimmed glasses the dragoness turned her attention to the 2 ladies in question.
"My Lady Witchy, I do believe they are part of the jury." Cyroris politely pointed out. "I'm almost certain they have no idea of the events of our case. There might be some sort of bias towards the judgement if they did. Although, if you'd like my liege I can get you an extensive background check on them" She said slyly with a smirk on her face.
Before Lady Witchy could even give a response, Cyroris snapped her fingers and suddenly a small dragon appeared answering its master's call.

"Yessssss my Lady, how can I be of ssssservice?" the little black scaled creature asked courtly. "Avexis! First I'd like a hot cup of tea, you know the kind. The second matter is of great importance. I need you to look into 2 individuals for me, would like to know a bit of their backgrounds if you please. They go by the names of Hollis, The Keeper of Ledgers and Springjoy, Head Gardner and The Domestic Engineer of SomewhereIThinkTheyMadeUp." With a nod the little whelpling flew off in a blur. Minutes later returned carrying a gold and black adorned tray with a small teacup & saucer. "Thank you now get on with your second task" Cyroris thanked her servant and picked up the teacup delicately with her tail and took a small sip.
The small black whelpling, Avexis, flew off towards Lady & Lady . "HIHI! Ssssssorry to intrude! I'm Avexissss and I want to know everything about you!" Lady Cyroris at the other end of the courtroom nearly spat out her tea and facepalmed at the stupidy of her minion.
Clearing her throat in embarassment and taking another sip of her tea, Lady Cyroris turned her attention back to her queen & colleagues. "I'll umm give these case files another once over... Y'know in case we missed something." She murmured to &
Spring glances in the direction that is pointing. "I...I think you are right!" She whispers back. "I mean, I guess we shouldn't be surprised that 's assistant would be ghostly? I'm not..."
Right at that moment, there is a swish at which both Hollis and Spring jump a little, expecting that one of the court staff decided they had whispered enough. But when they turn they see a small dragon, who sssays he wantssss to know everything aboutsssss them. They hear a choking sound as Lady tries not to loose her tea and pretends that she has no idea where the dragon came from or who it belongs to.
Resisting a laugh, Spring wonders what they should tell the little Dragon. Truth or fiction?
wytchdancr flicks her vivid hair over her shoulders as she begins to set up her work station with colleagues and . Giving Cyroris a sympathetic half smile in solidarity she whispers "It's hard to train minions." With that statement of support she goes back to setting up her station. Hextop on the table with Spellnet running in the background; she uses her cyber magic programs to consolidate case files on instances of specialized cake feeding judgments and precedents. In another consecrated magic tab she gathers data on the accepted treatment of unwilling, captive pillows as laid down in the Magical Bylaws Adjunct of the first Interdemensional Solophsist Convention. With her eyes intent and her lovely face full of concentration she keeps a murmuring chant of power that feeds into her cybermantic spells.
"This court gets stranger and stranger", Hollis said to her. She looked again and saw give a wave, so she returned it wondering what that was about. "I think they are talking about us Spring, maybe we should wait out..." right when she was about to finish the word she jumped at the same time Spring did when a miniature dragon appeared at their side apologizing for intruding and wanting to know everything about them.
"Ummm, Avexis is it? Hollis inquired and stole a glance at Spring before answering. "Here is what I'll tell you. We both don't know why we are here, we are waiting for her Majesty, Lady to speak with us and everyone knows I work in my father's shops and Spring makes sure all of the gardens are in right order." She gave a small smile to the dragon, hoping the statement would suffice.
Avexis looked at Spring to see if there was anything else to be added and then turned back to her. Looking over at pretending not to notice, Hollis hoped she would call her dragon back. It wouldn't stop flying around them like they were on display. "It's like an annoying fly that I want to swat at," Hollis mumbled to Spring.
