There are quite a few items whose overlay changes based on the sex of your HA. Most of them seem to be older items, so if nothing else it would be nice if these could be made transformable along with an update (though several, like the Wyvere Eye Stone and the Chunky School Bag have exactly the same overlay anyway, just recolored)

I recall discussing making items like these transformable in the new wardrobe, but I guess that came to nothing. I'd love to see these sorts of items made transformable still!

The Chunky School Bag does that, too. Green for guys, and red for girls.

I never understood why things did this.

I think one of the original reasons behind this came with the costume trunks era (I was on staff at the time, and though my memory is hazy I think it was something like this), most guys don't (some do, and that's fine obviously but the typical guy doesn't) wear skirts.. and most chicks don't want short dude haircuts and slacks-- so wouldn't it be kinda fun to make a thing that was different for both male and female?

Obviously that was changed in a great way into different fun sets and stuff (which then kinda died... RIP MCTs I will miss your fun-ness), but I think that's kinda where the difference came from.

The avatar system has exploded since then though, and some of the items don't make all that much sense (like why couldn't there have been a school girl and school boy bag? or a green/red bag...), so I do'nt see why these shouldn't be changed. Especially since a few of them could ahh.. warrent a revamp anyways |D

You just have no idea how I support right now.

I felt this eons ago when I had the enchanted apple and wanted to make a male avatar with the school girl outfit and I think I recall being annoyed again when the coat was introduced and wanting the longer hair.

Oh man, remembering when that beach wig came out really took me back. That was such a different time for HAs. Definitely support this decision. Actually, why doesn't that Roq Candy jacket just have stars on both versions? They don't need a transformable one of those. Just make them both have the star.

Support! I really really hope they end up able to give us a transform option in the wardrobe so we can switch between variations of anything that has multiple versions without taking it out of the wardrobe. Including these types of items in that feature would fit the bill!
